I'm selling my PC and was wondering if anyone had an idea on what I could get out of it or if there was a better place to sell it than craigslist.
What is the best and most powerful laptop on the market? Fuck the weight and fuck the thinness. Power is all that I'm after.
Just to have something to lug around with me while I'm on the go. I use modeling engines quite a bit and also game as well. I need a beefy GPU to do some 3D work. Price is not a problem.
>be using OSX
>minimize app 1
>minimize app 2
>click icon for app 1
>window I minimized expands
>click icon for app 2
who allowed this?
Realistically, how hard would it be to run an image board? I've been toying around with the idea for a while, and I feel like the only problem would be moderating content. What are your thoughts?
>move all files to My Documents
>look under my documents
>the MP4 files I moved aren't there
Hey guys, I know you have to deal with a lot of retarded people on here, and I'm just another one of those people. But I have a quick question I'm hoping one of you could answer.
I want to upgrade my processor soon, but I don't know too much about replacing parts. So would an AMD FX-9590 fit into the same slots as my current (really shitty) amd athlon ii x2 250?
Thanks in advance, and sorry if my question is as retarded as I think it is. Retarded doggo only relevant as to how I feel when it comes to these things.
google randomly moving around where shit is at the top depending on what you search
the fuck is this shit?? seriously who is going to need the news and shopping buttons more than images for anything
It's all good here.
hey moot, you faggot you work there now, im sure you have some crawler for 4chan that searches for every post with your name mentioned
so if youre reading this. fucking tell your boss to fix this shit, no one uses the shopping or news features, we hav our own dedicated websites we go to for that, fuck off.
I got a job as a junior .net developer by bluffing my way through the interview process overstating how experienced I was in design patterns, entity framework, ASP.NET MVC, etc. etc. I have a tiny bit of experience using them for a couple school projects, but that was it.
Has anyone worked as a junior developer with a big company before? How tough is it? I'm worried I am going to humiliate myself tomorrow when they find out how little I really know.
What freaked me out was a friend in the industry warned me that Junior Developer requires two years of experience. I have no experience and just a simple IT degree. I don't know how the hell I am going to cut it. I can't even create a simple array without checking what the syntax should be online. I cannot for the life of me figure out how the hell I got through the interview process. All I had to do was say "yes" a bunch of times and I was hired.
Let have some discussion on e-readers.
This weekend I went out and bought two e-readers off craigslist. First one is a 7th gen Kindle, for $50. The second one is a Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight, for $45.
I have to say the Nook is much better. I have an Amazon account, but I do not have any e-books associated to it. Everything I have is either epub or pdf. So I tried using Calibre to convert a couple books to either mobi or whatever the Amazon shitty format is, and neither worked on the Kindle. Each page had a couple lines of text. Totally unusable.
The Nook, however, is very nice. Super easy to put books on it, and it works perfectly with epub. The light is actually useful at it's lowest setting because the table lamp near my bed just isn't quite bright enough to see the e-ink.
I think I will keep using the Nook. It will be replacing my 2012 Nexus 7. Before that I used a Nook Color. I may give the Kindle to my mom.
I know I've seen people on here praising Kobo e-readers, but there weren't any on my local craigslist.
What does everyone use for reading books?
Do you use Xposed on your Android Phone ?
Hey /g/ I'm thinking about getting the Lenovo Ideapad 100s this Thursday for shitposting on the go and in preparation for next year at college taking notes and what not, have any of you had experience with this laptop? Is it a good buy? If not what would you recommend.
There are websites that offer consumer reviews and advice. This is not one of them.
You could try a search of the web, or ask in the stupid questions thread. Either way, you should probably delete this thread.
I own as asus t100ta with similar specs.
Great for shitposting, great for watching videos on the go. battery life is good, expect around 10 hours.
Expect dogshit linux support though. It's cheap though, and it performs well. build quality seemed solid when I checked it out at jb Hi-Fi, do recommend.
I'm shitposting on one right now. It aint fancy, UEFI sucks balls, and you can't run too many things at once, but it is a solid little netbook. Streams audio and video just fine and the battery life is pretty fucking awesome.
>why is linux Mint good/bad
Arch users stay away, unless you have something to contribute
"Because it's not x!" Isn't an answer
Why is java so fucking disgusting, the code is disgusting, the website is disgusting, the installer is disgusting and every program made with it looks disgusting, not to mention the vulnerabilities and awful looking code
My computer does not understand the language parjeets write in. Feels good :^)
How can I boot Arch linux from my Seagate? I already have the ISO.
Have you guys upgraded to Android M yet? What do you think of it?
