PDAs were king before everyone ditched them along with netbooks in 2010 for those smudgy Fisher Price toys that are tablets/smartphones.
What is the modern alternative to the PDA? Something that has a decent word processor and is portable. Something that isn't a tablet with a bluetooth keyboard.

>Modern alternate
It's literally just a smartphone, if your nasty fucking hands smudge the screen, then wash them
>>54877003
This. Smartphones are literally just PDAs that can also function as phones.
>>54877003
But smartphones don't have any decent office apps, they are glorified stick it notes that I have type into like a fucking chimp or use a bluetooth keyboard.
ITT: Shit you would never in your life spend your money on but if somebody gave it to you or you won it in a contest you'd be happy to have.
I've considered buying them a few times but my inner Jew just won't let me spend the money. The practicality to cost ratio is awful but I'll be damned if they don't sound good from what I've heard on my friend's Rokit6's.
The catalog is full of consumerist cancer and you still had to go and make a new thread.
Much, much, better monitors exist than the Rokits.
Honestly, they're the Beats by Dre of Studio monitors. Muddy as fuck.
>>54876939
I'd personally go for some Yamaha HS8's or HS5's over the Rokits.

I knew there would be an upcoming change to the order of photos on a user's feed, but they have also completely disabled the ability for third party sites to provide the original chronological feed.
Now when you go to any of the previous places you could view Instagram online like Iconosquare or webstagram they are trying to sell you some dumb analytical service.
This has got to be a huge mistake. Even facebook gave users the choice to go back to a chronological layout for their feed. Right now the service is near unusable because you can't even look...

Correct. I am intelligent enough to not have to fuck my own hand.
It is possible to program a PIC using a OTG device fron the phone.
Also general electronic thread
An AVR yes, a PIC, idk...
PIC32 has USB OTG functionality, I never used it though.
>>54877938
I'm being stupid, I didn't quite read your question. If your phone can be a USB host, you can use it as a software programmer, yes.
For example, for PIC32, I use pic32prog(*). I don't know if you can compile it for Android though...

So for the past week I have been on 'holiday' in the middle of fucking nowhere in Scotland. Usually I'm in Hartlepool, UK which is where I live. A town of 90,000 people or so, the town is graced with virgin media super fast broadband cabling in every street, and 100% 4G LTE coverage across the town (Every mast is 4G), so I kind of take Internet connectivity for granted. But this holiday has got me thinking. Why haven't we, especially for rural communities, figured out widespread satellite 4G? It makes perfect sense. I am aware that satellite broadband already...

I don't see the problem. If you want freedom you wouldn't looking for Debian/Ubuntu anyway.

/g/ if I have TPM enabled on a device then turn it off, will it decrypt my hard drive? I want to put it in another machine
You either need to move the keys to s new machine, basically use an unlock utility that can with the software to put it on the new machine. Or you need to backup the data to a unencrypted dive, move the drive, reimage with your OS and software, pull down the data.
Likely you're going to go with the second option.
If you're not using a disk lock utility like check point or end point, AMD just have tpm enabled then you're duce isn't encrypted. It doesn't sound like you're very familiar worth this stuff. ...pleb
>>54876077
I'm not. That's why I'm asking. So a full disk image with TPM disabled would be fucking useless?
TPM is NSA botnet.
I came across this bundle deal on Amazon, a GS30 SHADOW-001, Gaming Dock, and a GTX 970. Would this be a good deal or not?

What are you Liberal cucks up to today? I just finished running a mile and doing 500 situps. I feel great. I've never loved an iconic figure as much as I do Trump. But the army did show me that most liberals look for handouts. We already have a free education system. Lay your life down for the country and boom. That's what I'm doing. The army also showed me how much I love being an ass.

Hello everyone!
I was wondering if any of you know of any Artificial Intelligence software.Take Iron Man's Jarvis as an example for reference.
Of course I don't expect something even close to that, but at least you understand what I'm talking about.
Please enlighten me, because google didn't really help: too many things, all shitty af.
>>54875720
googling "deepmind" might be a start
generally what you're looking for is "reinforcement learning"
/sci/ might be a better board to try if you want an actual discussion
obviously we're nothing close to anything like your example
>>54875963
Thanks man! I'll start looking and maybe I'll post on /sci/ as you suggested!

Please avoid using the term “google” as a verb, meaning to search for something on the internet. “Google” is just the name of one particular search engine among others. We suggest to use the term “search the web” or (in some contexts) just “search”. Try to use a search engine that respects your privacy; DuckDuckGo claims not to track its users, although we cannot confirm.
