How mathematically literate are you? It's really necessary be good at math to become a nice programmer?
Complete shit.
Without my calculator I can't even make simple divisions
>>45468214
My degree is in Physics, so my maths skills are pretty good. Ultimately it depends what sort programming you're going to be doing, it's more necessary in some areas than others. The skills are particularly useful when developing algorithms or doing optimisation. It's never a disadvantage, put it that way.
>>45468214
I'm okay at math. Trying to become better.
>become a good programmer
Lol I'm IT
sick to think these are the people who create software today. it's really sad, if not pathetic.

They're high-schoolers; this isn't really a problem yet. They'll get run through the filter when they're older and all the non-Asians will be removed.

Must google have this in everything? I bet it's full of subliminal messages. Also good job at not explaining anything
Security IT guy here. It sounds sexy, but dat loss of privacy... I don't need Google looking at my history of loli picture browsing at work and home.
It's shit.

Unless you're logged into your Google account and turn on third-party tracking cookies, it just gives you the old captcha in an awkward pop-up.
Is anyone here technologically normal? I don't mean technologically normally skilled, I mean that you don't care about the GNU "freedom" cult. Do you use whatever OS or software is convenient? I saw a thread on here today with OP freaking out about installing some Java app on his PC because he thought it was a "botnet." That's just fucking sad. The guy obviously didn't know enough about software to check himself, yet was opinionated enough to be into the whole "freedom" anti-botnet stuff.

I didn't read all that shit because I figured you were just bitching about nothing.
What do you guys think of it?
More wasted space than OP's existence.
It's faggier than OS X and i tought that was impossible to achieve
It... Actually looks kinda fancy
Why do you use a free operating system anon?
Are you poor?
OSX is free and a lot of rich people use it, bitch.
i forgot my wallet at home do you mind paying haha
I don't spend money on useless shit

If I could meet Ed Snowden face to face, this is what I would ask him: What was the make and model of the USB drive that he used to betray his country?
I would ask what is his favourite anime

ITT: Applefags vs. Linuxfags
But wait! In this debate, you cannot use commercial support or third-party software to support your argument. This time, the debate is based solely on the capability/potential of your favored OS.
But that's not fair, nobody uses their os like the way it is out of the box.
>>45458640
I'm talking about flexibility, stability, how it works, shit like that. Linuxfags always use "muh free software" and Macfags use "muh commercial support" in arguments.
Everything about Linux is "third-party" technically, the kernel devs are an entirely separate entity from any distro.
What are some neat add-ons to put in the drive bay if i have an external optical drive for the rare occasion a disc will be used
has to be somewhat practical too please so no mini ovens and stuff like that
looks handy, monitoring
>>45459720
that little drawer thing would be better if it had a mock optical drive faceplate, it'd be the one place that absolutely nobody would think to look
>>45459720
A fan controller. That's about it.
