Apple does it for me
Yup, as my hardware has the necessary processor instruction set. Given the sixteen character maximum password and it being developed by Google, I assume it does somewhere between fuck and all against a real adversary. Protects me from some cunt swiping it and stealing my information, though.
Are Kingpin cards worth the money? Sorry K|ingp|in.
That's such a retarded question. What is "worth" to you? You don't even list the type of games your play or the monitor you game on.
Thread hidden.
>>55385568
Is your moms vagina worth the STDs?
>>55385568
Only if you're planning to OC the card on LN2 at Monster Energy drinking competitions.
Kingpin cards are way too fucking wide, so keep that in mind if you're putting it on a case and not a test stand.
EVGA's factory OC's are so tame nowadays, you'd be better off buying the cheapest AIB (Palit?) and clocking the balls off of it.
Holy shit AMD is finished. When the 1060 comes out they are going bankrupt. Look at how much the 480 is blown away by the 1060.
D...DE...DELETE THIS! OR GANESHA WILL PUNISH YOU!!

bait / 10

yep, AMD got BTFO once again. They better step up their sales this week, since it will tank hardcore once 1060 is released
anyone know what's wrong with my tv?
it's fucking broken

it's fucking busted
What's the best and cheapest chinese androne? I've been using BB10 since release day but now that BB has abandoned me I want to find something else.
I want:
NFC, 3GB+ RAM (really I just don't want lag), 1080p screen and good battery. I've looked at the Honor 6, Elephone P9000 and S3. Mi5 is nice but too expensive. I don't want a Oneplus.
Suggestions? (pic barely related)
New Nexus devices will probably be announced soon.
Why no OnePlus ?
>>55385456
The newest one is too expensive. And idk if the oneplus X is any good.
SHOW US YOUR DRIVES /g/!
>>55385355
(OP here ) Pic above is mine btw

NAS is really just 2x 1TB drives and 2x 4TB drives in a software RAID on my desktop. That will soon be upgraded to either 12TB or 20TB (depending on what I decide to do for RAID) when I get a 12-bay R510 and throw FreeNAS on it.
NICE TRY NSA
why do bitcoin transactions take so long? Jesus fucking christ
Because transactions are grouped into blocks, and then need to propagate.
>>55385248
(Oh and I'm assuming you only used your pic as a joke, because what I'm describing is on the order of 10 minutes. It has very little to do with a 3-5 day waiting period. That's probably the cops.)
>>55385248
Then it's a useless currency. There was something that I wanted to buy now, not in a fucking week.
Anyone have a link to the Fork of Clover that has more customization options that the original app?
>>55385223
Yep
>>55385460
Can you post it please?
>>55385533
PM sent :)
So Polaris was shit, but I dont really care because im an enthusiast
Vega will offer an alternative to the 1080, right? AMD cant possibly fuck up 6 times in a row.
>>55385195
I think you understimate the ability of AMD to fuck up everything
>>55385224
They have to stop eventually
I mean how else are they not bankrupt yet
>>55385195
The 7970 was a beast of a card but that was 4 years ago now :(

Will this be the savior of Android? I might switch from iPhone to this.
>>55385072
Don't ever buy Version 1. I'd give it 3 more years to ferment, and to become what it should be.
>>55385072
Nope.
All google did to modular phones was destroy all reason they were designed for.
Ara will have a fixed cpu, ram, gpu and mainboard. Some tiles will only be cosmetic.
Google purposefully killed the saviour.
>>55385072
Could be, if Google doesn't fuck this up.
Let's discuss SBCs ITT, what we're looking at, what we have, what we use it for, etc.
Here's an incomplete list of common SBCs out there for newcomers.

I'm wanting to get a knockoff Arduino starter kit. Mainly for learning assembly, and embedded C programming.
I'm leaning towards getting the Mega because it has 256k vs 16k of flash storage. The first thing I want to make is a play pretend hardware accelerator for huffman encoding compression.
Off topic but what sensor modules are neat to play with?
>>55385067
What's the board pictured? The VGA and SATA ports are very intriguing for my project:
I have an original iMac that's sorta-broken and I want to replace the motherboard with something more interesting (but keep the CRT because why not). A proper PC wouldn't fit unless I also replace the CRT with an LCD, so something like the raspberry pi is ideal, except that HDMI output is counterproductive.
woah... so this is the power of nvidia...
>>55385038
You call that power?
whoa

Why all of my fucking why
I just want to play 1080p on a budget. Looks like rx470 for me

Some used inkjet I bought on eBay for 20% of the highest rated poorfag laserjet that was new on Newegg. Only real need for printing at home is the occasional government document and my CV when I get fired; scanner with large feeder tray is most important.
>>55384941
>this guy never needs a physical copy of anything
>never needs to scan in something either, which 99% of printers nowadays have as a function
pls
Help me decide on what browser to use.
Chromium:
Pros: Faster, feels lighter, loads webpages and switches tabs faster, all around a somewhat better experience.
Cons: Uses more CPU and RAM, made by Google, I'm signed into Google with it, so I have no privacy with it.
Firefox:
Pros: Can change it around a metric fuckton more than Chromium, privacy is respected and can be (is for me) enhanced, uses less RAM and CPU.
Cons: Responds and feels slower, locks up at times, among other slow-ness.
Help me decide /g/. I'm using...

Reasons to distrust Chromium:
* Downloads binary blobs silently and executes them with user privilege https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=786909
* Contacts Google's servers regardless of user's settings https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=792580
