I'd recommend signing out of Google or having it auto sign out when you end your web sesh. Other than that looks good as long as you're not a dumb. Try i2p instead of tor

0/10 OP, garbage.
Okay /g/.
Let's say, purely hypothetically ofcourse, that someone found that by turning off javascript and then entering apostrophes in a search field on a site you could produce an error message.
What would be the easiest way to exploit this, if possible at all?
by downloading all of their ram and using it for things like gifs and bandwidyh aggregation. but youd have to be super leet to really pull off something like that
unless the site is ancient, its backend is using a prepared query. Youre probably out od luck

Yeah ok. Thing is, this somene really just want to edit a record in one of their databases. It's a bit risky since this database also contains social security numbers. What are the odds of doing something like this unnoticed? Could the risk be worth it and how leet are we talking here?
Is there an add-on or hidden feature on YT that would allow me to blacklist certain YT channels? Tired of seeing click-bait.

why would you even use the yt frontpage? if you don't know what video you want to watch, you shouldn't be watching anything at all.
Why exactly did compact all in one computers (apple ii, atari, commordores) fall out of fashion in favor of big ugly beige pc's during the 90's?
I can't think of a single advantage pc's had over them.

More flexibility for adding internal drive bays, storage etc. I guess. ATX also helped to standardise component layout somewhat - no need to replace the entire machine for an upgrade.
Exchangable parts like mice, keyboards, speakers, and monitors are all advantages.

i need put a large paging file on my SSD for a while.
How much damage can it make?
>inb4 get more ram.
i will come payday.
get more ram
>>51484895
it won't do anything unless you run it for years like that or the SSD is an old OCZ Vertex or something.
>>51484895
It's going to be fine, for a year or two.
I installed 7 (mbr mode) and activated with daz loader, then I went to Microsoft windows-10-upgrade page and got free upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. It automatically activated.
Finally I downloaded the latest build (1511) from mdl and did a clean install and it also activated. I used to have a kms activated enterprise install but thought I might as well get a legit copy before the free upgrade offer expires.

Can anyone recommend a good DAC or sound card? I just bought some Rokit 6s, and they're picking up a lot of digital distortion from the Mobo. I was thinking of getting pic related. Any thoughts?
Lurking for interest.
My marantz PM94 almost has its last part to complete the restore, so no more optical input.
I'd prefer both optical and RCA inputs for versatility.
it's a waste of money
same as FLAC is a waste of disk space

I'm using that DAC right now and I would recommend it. Sounds nice.
Hi /g/, got my eyes set on a 4k monitor mostly for programming, and sporadic gaming but terribly confus by all the words thrown around: freesync/gsync, IPS/TN, ...
So, what's the best 4K monitor for these purposes and do I need a GTX 980 Ti to run this or is it overkill?
Freesync - ATI
GSync - Nvidia
IPS - Color accuracy/Quality display
TN - Rice & Gaymen 144Hz Tier
For gaming, yes a 980ti is pretty much required, get a TN if you don't really care about gaming and want to save some money. Ips looks better and is generally more expensive
>>51484271
If you want to play AAA titles (Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Blops 3, GTAV) even the 980ti will struggle to make acceptable 4k framerates. If you're just coding, any card capable of 4k output will perform just fine. The newer intel chips can render 4k without any issues even.
What else have I missed?
I've just discovered Plex and it's blowing my mind. I now can access all my lifetime accumulated content any where I go on any device and have it neatly organized. Only con seems to be the shitty quality stuff I downloaded throughout highschool/college.
I've been out of college working like crazy and not doing any sort of tech hobbies for the past 4 years.
Now I have lots of money and a nice house but I don't even know what's possible now.

Hello /g/
I need your help
My phone has been affected by a virus that says it's the FBI and say I've been viewing CP and downloading music illegally
While most of the music on my phone isn't exactly purchased, I didn't view any CP
There's also the issue that it's asking me to pay 500$ via paypal, which no government agencies will ask you to do when they bust you (I think).
So what do?
