What does /g/ do with their old GPUs?
I am thinking of maybe making an M-ITX build. No point for an HTPC because I live in a studio apartment.
Can't use it for DX12 either because I will never install the superbotnet.
>>51644821
use it as a dedicated physX processor
It is pointless to use old graphics card
GTX 750 Ti outperforms GTX 560 Ti at a fraction of power usage

Sure, and I agree, but this is what I have, it's basically worthless on the second hand market, and I don't know what to do with it.

I have some schematics in my head for the next generation of communications technology.

Kill yourself desu senpai
It would take experts in the fields of neuroscience programming mycology and probably others to get this technology to an impressive level but I think a simple enough proto type could be built for minimal resources
So I'm thinking about starting an open source bio tech company
You guys know that little rectangle used to fill up the dvd drive in your pc if you dont use one? I was trying to install that fucker and he slipped from my hand and vanished. It's probably somewhere nside the case. Wtf do I do? Pic unreltedish.
If you install gentoo on your computer it will enable you to unlock the side panel in the settings menu.
Just forget about it. So long as it isn't stopping a fan from spinning that is
>>5164478
It might have fallen between the font case and front fan. The side panel doesn't show that part

Can I get programming help here or will I be flamed?
You are to create a program using nested looping. Your program is to have a menu asking the user to select which pattern to create and how many rows to use (it should accept 1 to 10 rows and keep the aspect ratio of the pattern). The patterns are 1 - Box, 2 - V, 3 - Inverted V. Note, if I select pattern 1 with 10 rows, the box will have 10 asterisks in the first row.

That just means people are starting to know what it is, not that they're no longer interested.
Also, most if not all normies use Ubuntu or Debian so they don't search Linux and go to the Gentoo page.

Is it worth getting one of these?

Just got a new LG V10 from Verizon and I love it, I've never had a chance to go in depth w/ Android. Can /g/ tell a poor applefag that has transitioned to the right side about what apps you NEED on any/every Android device? So far I found that chompsms is very useful aswell as using Nova Launcher.
>>51643894
Phonograph, VLC, Chromium, Evernote and Clover(4chan Reader)
These should get you started.
Also, Discord if you need comms with others, which is cross-platform, and isn't shit, unlike Skype.
>>51643943
clover is shit though
also get f-droid, if you even consider yourself a /g/entooman

>set media player playlist to "random"
>it plays the songs in the same mixed up order every time
>set torrent client to start the next torrent automatically
>it still seeds the tranny porn
>>51643785
Random playlist mode is not random, it is made to look like such. Otherwise there would be songs that would never be played and others that would be player twice or even more
this is easily solved.
i could write a better random playlist generator.
Everything with technology seems to emphasize making things ever more minuscule. Is there any benefit to going in the other direction at all?

More room for a larger battery.
Also, your photo is from a submarine.
Quick question, /g/
I just received a new GPU. (R9 380)
I am replacing an old GPU (GTX 550).
I shut down, removed card, booted via onboard graphics (i5-2400), uninstalled Nvidia stuff via Programs list in Control Panel, shut down, installed new card, plugged in monitor to card.
Now it won't turn on. When I remove the R9 380, the computer turns on fine. When I put in the 550, it also turns on fine, albeit with no drivers.
My psu is a corsair cx600.
Any ideas? I would really appreciate it!
>>51643581
PSU might be too old to output the required wattage. They degrade over time, especially if left on to idle.
I suggest using a multimeter to keep track of the 12v rail when turning it on.
Might just be shit luck with the card tho. Did you buy some Powercolor or XFX piece of shit?
>>51643667
>did you buy some powercolor
Yes... Yes I did.
Fuck.
>>51643707
Lel
Powercolor only makes good cards on the very high end, or with good oddities like the 7870 XT. Everything else they cheap out on. XFX on the other hand cheaps the entire line.
