Why laugh, when you should cry. We're stuck with shit GPU performance and no advancements for another decade.

Oh, we're not even getting started on the laughs yet.
Why haven't you switched to AMD yet?
I enjoy having a good computer.
Fx-8350 master race here.
But I did. I also use AMD components whenever anyone asks me to build them a PC unless their budget is insane.

I liked the plethora of /w/alls the ad used.
Can I have any feedback from you guys on my computer build? I've never built one before, so I want to see what more experienced people thought of my first build here. I am open to changes and ideas. Budget at or below $1300.
Personally, I'd drop a monitor and get a a better graphics card

The Antec 900 is a terrible case. I have never heard anything good about it. Corsair Carbide series are some good cases.
>>51791235
Thanks for the feedback, I however, will not be using the PC to game, it's more or less personal use and photoshop. Does that influence that feedback at all? I suppose I should've stated that it would not be used for gaming in the original post haha
Is it acceptable to still use Windows 7 in 2016? I don't want to get laughed at by my peers?

When will that die?
Is it a good investment to study Computer Science now?
Do you guys have stats on the status on the industry? Is it shrinking or growing, and if the latter, is the growth getting faster or slower?
In terms of job demand and salary expectations, for Computer Science in general and mostly programming although I wouldn't mind doing something else.
I was going through StackOverflow stats but they are SJW fucks that mix the first world with shits like India and Iran and do stats on caffeine usage and dont bring up salaries evolution.
pic unrelated

I got a job out of college for 100k base salary. I'm flunking a class right now so hopefully I'll be able to actually get to my job.

how did they get the refrigerator into my apartment when it's bigger than the only doorway?
even with the door off the hinges it's like 5 inches too narrow in either direction
livestreamer + mpv will not 'seek'. Doesn't matter if it's an actual livestream from twitch or a cached stream like a twitch vod or a youtube video.
Anyone have a clue on how I can fix this?

Since I posted it so late into the thread.
What exactly was it about both Windows XP & 7 that made them so much more well liked by users in comparison to Windows 8 & 10?
>>51790393
actual, useful improvements and not a lot of bullshit
going from xp to 7, you got proper 64bit support, better drivers, better start menu (including the search function) etc.
things that actually made the OS more enjoyable
>>51790393
Ibl don't mind windows 10.
No frills. Just improvements.
People dont like experimental stuff. Especially when it's implementation is half baked like in Windows 8. In Windows 10 Microsoft gives all users constantly experimental software. Add the privacy issues and people truly dispise it.
Who Model M here?
This is my work keyboard, I have one at home as well.
Why doesn't anyone else besides M clones use buckling springs?
I tried a cherry key keyboard the other day, and I don't see the point. Mushy keys.

If you think Rust is slower than its C / C++ counterpart done with the memory safety and caution that shall be embodied in such an important software as the browser, then you know nothing, John Snow.
