Also, don't use vocaroo. It appears to use compression methods that quite noticeably decrease audio quality. Clypit does, too, but not half as bad, it seems.

Is there a way to achieve some sort of background noise cancellation, when using a condenser mic? I'm in the market for an AT2020, but I don't want to drive my listeners insane with the background noise from my PC or bumping around from my roommate.

There are noise removal tools in most DAWs, but they're not perfect. Just record a few seconds of silence with your mic on, and you should be able to use that to set the baseline and adjust. In audacity, it's called "truncate noise", in most others, it's just noise removal

THe NAS is a N54 running XPEnology and the PFsence box is running on a i5.
I kinda wanted to make some VM's but the NAS isn't powerfull enough to do that.
But PFsence doesn't allow for much since it isn't a full BSD system what should I do ?

Anyone here experience with docker?
Tried it out on windows, and as usually with dev tools on Windows that rely too much on GNU tools or the linux kernal it completely died on me.
I'm currently planning to rent a VPS and run some (web)applications on it.
The VPS supports CoreOS, so docker is an option. Probably going to run two Golang containers and a PostgreSQL server in another container.
Is it worth it though? It seems like such a hassle. I have to write Dockerfiles and do --link magic (which I don't understand, how do I connect the Golang...

I like docker for other things than containing applications. I use it for portable dev conditions anywhere. It's good for that. I would personally recommend just putting the applications on one server, or even better having a separate server for your DB.
Docker doesn't get mentioned much here by itself, usually only in context of actual programming stuff

I've worked with docker at my job. Java dev, our project was a java app server + sql db + website.
Docker is for quickly deploying multiple instances of programs, hosted inside a lightlweight linux OS customized for just that program, like an instance of your http server or an instance of your processing backend.

My PC has been completely unusable lately. This started a couple of weeks after i installed windows 10. Games like Dota 2, Dishonored or Deus Ex 3 would run flawlessly on my Intel Pentium g3258 (not overclocked) and gtx 750 Ti, but now every program i (try to) use stutters so much that i cant use it properly. Even the start button can take 5 seconds to open. Could this something to do with the fact that my HDD is constantly at 90 - 100% usage and makes extremely loud noises for no reason? Pls help /g/
