I ditched Ubuntu for Windows 10 and now I want to go back to GNU/Linux again I hate Windows, bloated PoS... to be fair, Ubuntu is bloated PoS too.
I'm thinking of going back to Xubuntu, any other ideas? Mint maybe? Just need it for a desktop PC, standard tasks, nothing special

I'm typing on it right now, with the MX Blues. My only complaint is that the keycaps wear easily. I have been typing for about a year, every day, and I can already see lots of smooth spots on some common keys. The dedicated media buttons are great and are a godsend, and work with foobar out of the box. The build quality is great, almost completely metal. It causes the keyboard to be extremely heavy. W10 is shit.
It bluescreened a lot on me when I upgraded my laptop to see if it was worth the trouble.
Couldnt stand that shit after 2 weeks and installed Vista of all things, which actually ran a LOT better after a truckload of updates.
I imagine that a fresh install of W10 runs better than an upgraded one. But it's not worth it and 7 is still better in almost every way.

see him using it all the time, but he's said you can't have too many apps open at once (assuming because it has shit for memory)

Similar use pattern here. Picked up the little bluetooth keyboard and unit during the HP firesale. Installed CM9/10/now 11. Mainly use it for taking notes on short trips and playing back 720p re-encoded videos on flights. Some of my 1080p will play back in VLC, not all of it, but who cares?
What I like: root, USB connectivity for bulk transfers, WiFi for normal use, just shovel shit onto it before I go and need no wireless. Form factor is comfy.
Does there exist a wireless keyboard that doesn't suffer from intermittent lag? My main keyboard is a mech but I have use case scenarios where I need wireless. But all of them I tried suffer from intermittent lag, even isolated inside a faraday cage room.
Why are all wireless keyboards such shit? The wireless trackball I have virtually never lags.
I have the keyboard pictured and it works great 99% of the time, I type over 100 WPM on it, except the intermittent lag that happens that 1% of the time is enough to drive me insane.

Team 5760x1080 here. Memory is your biggest bottleneck. All those pixels gotta be stored somewhere.
My biggest issue with the Fury and Fury X is that they're stuck at 4GB RAM because there's physically no space on the HBM magic chip for 8GB. Unlike 980 or even the earlier AMD cards where the manufacturer can put as much RAM as they want off-die.
You may have to wait for HBM2 and an 8G solution if you want a long-term (3-5 year) card for triplewide at that resolution. Which is what I'm...
