How can Android be fixed?
It's getting worse and worse with each version update.
Should I install this?
I'm on the Nexus 6 official ROM currently. What would I lose? What would I gain?
I'm mainly interested in two things
1. Multiwindow (big bonus because I'm always doing stuff like reading and listening to music at the same time)
2. Less bloat because the stock ROM installs a ton of shit which I don't want (I know I could freeze it or uninstall it but I don't like changing system stuff because it usually ends up going wrong)
You mean something like split screen on Samsung? If so,you won't find in CM. What you get is a basic stock Android rom minus the bloat of Googles botnet. I'm using it on a Nexus 6 and I like it, though the latest nightlies have introduced an issue with video playback on my device. CM12 was problem free for me though.
Why are there so few male devs in this pic?
Why are womyn programmers always so fucking ugly.
why is the html5 logo so shit
Finally the increased computing power of smartphones can help people in their daily life.
I wonder what it will be used for
>neural network seeds fucks up just like google labelling an album full of negroes' pictures "gorilla"
>blind people pissing into trashcans at public bathrooms
Tips on getting into pirate radio?
Can we get a freeware essentials thread going? Curious about what utilities for Windows that I should have but have forgotten about (or never knew of).
Unchecky.com - unchecks the annoying boxes in installers that try to install toolbars and shit and warns you if you're proceeding with a checkbox that will install unwanted software. Memory usage is 600kb.
Webmcam - record WebMs of shit on your Windows computer.
Hashtab - puts file hash calculation and comparison capabilities in the properties of files in windows explorer.
Can we talk office/desk chairs?
Are there actually any DECENT chairs for under $300 or so? I'm a big guy 6"2, 240 pounds with broad shoulders so I'm looking for something durable and comfortable for a few hours at a time.
I had this highly recommended mesh chair and the arms fell off after 4 months of use. After that, the wheels start popping off from the bottom and they could not be reattached because they were held in by some plastic that had been destroyed.
What is the advantage to an exercise ball?
I'd really like a standing desk, any decent budget ones?
I'm currently working on one of those folding plastic desks and an old uncomfortable wooden chair. Any upgrade would be nice.
Why are Yurop internet speeds so shit?
Because speculation. In italy there's some sort of monopoly where the major ISP owns the backbone and won't let other minor ISPs improve their service, while it still offers prices and speeds that didn't improve a bit in last 10 years.
On mobile is even worse, I'm paying 19€ for 20GB every 3 months for a saturated 4G unstable connection, though I'm going to get a satellite connection sooner or later before summer from a new provider, the prices are pretty good (100GB a month at 20 Mbit/s for 60€ and night hours 0-6 aren't counted, that's perfect for torrenting).
