SHHHHHHH
So, /g/. I have a baby coming any minute. Little fucker could be here today. I've been a weed smoker for the last couple of years, and I've been working in nursing homes for the last 10. I think it's time to give up the weed and focus on programming so I can give this kid a better future. Give myself a better future.
No questions. /g/ isn't my personal helpdesk. I know how to read the sticky.
I just want a general "This is why I changed my shit for the better" thread. /g/ is the most goal-minded board I've visited...

Built a computer for a coworker this morning. When I asked them what OS they want between W7 and W10 they said "surprise me". Which to me comes off as a general statement. What should I install for their OS, /g/?
Ubuntu
Install Gentoo
Clearly OP they want to be on the BLEEDING EDGE so install Arch

should they be powered by pneumatic actuators/servos, with perhaps an electroactive polymer/dielectric elastomer layer on top to simulate muscles flexing?
Id say a strong, cheap compound/alloy needed to support its frame. Carbon fiber would be nice but too expensive. I think at this point the electronics/CPU/software/motors are all feasible, just not the physical aspect itself for consumer-grade purchasing

So, I've been hoarding webms for some years now and I'm still not sure if there's a way to get the icons to show the content like gifs and other media files.

How do I create proper symlinks with a bash script?
I'm trying to get my config files linked to my repo, but if I use relative location it doesn't work, how would I do full path symlinks to the repo's files?
The install script is in the root of the repo btw.

> Windows 10 telemetry network traffic analysis
A user on Voat analyzed the network traffic of Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system using a DD-WRT router and a Linux Mint laptop with remote logging and Windows 10 Enterprise installed on Virtualbox recently.
He turned off all privacy-related features during custom installation, and let the computer...

Works fine for me f
>>52862449
Ofcourse, MS has your data, so it works as intended. I did not mention it not working anywhere.
>>52862437
This point has been demonstrated many times before. Winshills will defend it because they are either completely stupid or paid off.
If actually changing the privacy settings mattered I feel this would be less of a problem. But no, microsoft doesn't even have the decency for that.
I'm downloading Manjaro.
What are /g/ thoughts about this distro ?
it's shit and you should use debian, mint or arch instead.
Get antergos if you want arch without having to install and configure it.
Manjaro is useless.
Does it really matter what we think? Why not think for yourself?

How do you guys come up with your passwords? It's hard as fuck memorizing all my different passwords. I literally have a notebook for them all.
I just use "battery horse staple" for everything.

Make a sentence and change some letters to numbers/symbols.
So I'm making a seconds converter in C# for class. It's supposed to convert an integer entered into a textbox into appropriate units (seconds, minutes, hours, days) However, I can't for the life of me figure out what's causing these two errors.
