Guys if I use a VPN my college can't see what I'm looking at right?
Provided you use proper encryption, using a strong cipher suite and such.
Note that a VPN tunnel is not by definition encrypted. A tunnel without encryption is just encapsulation to a remote location.
How does it make you feel, /g/?
What does /g/ think is the best budget smartphone?
Personally I think the Moto /g/ (3rd gen) and ZTE Warp Elite are very good choices. The ZTE is cheaper but the Moto /g/ (3rd gen) will work with most GSM carriers and you can install a custom ROM. I can't decide which one is better.
Anyway, let's have a poll.
How would you code an AI for Snakes and Ladders?
Why don't more people use Pinta for image editing on GNU/Linux?
I'ts fucking perfect.
>that indian $4 phone has better specs than my Xperia L
jesus christ what the fuck
>Company president Ashok Kumar Chadha said the Android smartphone would have pre-installed apps that tie into Modi initiatives such as "Make in India" and "Clean India".
POO IN THE LOO
Tell me why i shouldn't get an S5
It's an amazing phone desu. Only thing I see wrong with it is the screen isn't 1440p and it only has 2GB of RAM.
Consider getting a Note 4 instead.
Why haven't you guys installed a Debian chroot on your phones?
I have and now I can program my atmega32 right on my phone (using a USB keyboard, or maybe not ), then compile the code, and burn it to the microcontroller.
green text on black background confirm OP is le infamous hakkur 4chang
>sister has a barely working 5-6 year old Dell laptop
>doesn't let me clean it up
>says she needs a cheap computer that she can work in photoshop with
>keeps sending me links to shitty laptops that can barely run windows for ~450 euros that she wants just because they "look good"
>I keep telling her that I can build her a highly superior pc for under 500 euros
>she keeps refusing...

have you ever bought used hardware? good or bad decision?
Hi, I'm considering pic related audio interface for getting into recording and shit.
But I'm also seriously considering spending twice as much for the Audient iD14. What do I go with? Is it worth twice as much?
Probably Audacity, because I won't be arranging any actual music. I want one that can have two mics, because practicing with something like a Scarlett Solo won't give me any idea about stereo micing.
I know a lot more than most beginners, but I still need to actually get into it.
I picked up a Scalrett 2i2 a few months back. I record bass, guitar, vocals, and drums with EZDrummer with it + Ableton Live. Don't blow all your budget on an interface when a cheap one will do. Also, don't skimp on cables. You WILL get audio interference with cheap unshielded cables.
Just a quick question regarding CS and CE/EE. Is electrical engineering or computer engineering better to learn in college versus computer science? I know most programming can be learned on your own while something like EE it is more beneficial to learn that in school. I am not trying to spark a CS vs CE debate I am just looking for the most valuable way to spend my time in school.
I do not plan on going into academia
I know they are not the same but from what I understand CompEng is the in between of CS and EE so I feel like if I did EE or CE I could learn any other CS stuff i wouldn't learn in school on my own to have a wider skill set.
>people still use VLC
It's just as bad as old people buying shit from Best Buy
Now that the IPhone is objectively the better choice, when are you gonna make the switch?
Now that iCucks are officially cucks, when do they publicly come out?
