>iOS 9 running in 80% of active devices
>Android 6 runs on 2 (two) %
>both released around the same time
lmao
Why are you still sporting this excuse of a platform? Its literally like throwing money in the garbage
Because while android may have its shortcomings, iOS straight up blows.
>>53682428
>iOS runs on like 20 different models at most
>Android runs on thousands
Not to mention Android has a greater marketshare, that too more than half

Why are people easily meme'd?
What are you trying to say?

I guess he's implying you can't hide yourself if your a pedophile
which is good.
>>53697916
he's saying people pay cable companies for internet access for netflix, but then say they cut the cord for cable television access.
ITT: nice looking pieces of shit

Why the hell can't I change this background picture? Seriously, I can change wallpaper, lock screen, but IT'S IMPOSSIBLE to change this sign in screen u.u' sad

What are your thoughts on dicking stations, /g/?
I was looking into getting one since I need to upgrade, and an ultrabook that can use for work during the day and turn into a future proof "PC" may be just what I'm looking for.

>alienware
>gaming laptop
MSI has the GS30 but i haven't been hearing too many good things...
*docking station, not dicking.
here's some tits because you guys are sometimes alright
DO NOT FUCKING BUY A MSI LAPTOP. I have a gp60 leopard(since discontinued, fucking wonder why), and it didn't even take 1.5 years for it to overheat and die.

whoa noted.
Daily reminder that anyone using Arch for "minimalism" or "freedom of choice" is a fucking retard.

I like the Arch community. If it wasn't for them, my Manjaro distribution wouldn't get any beta testing.
>huh SSDs die too quickly
>huh media wearout
>huhhhh muh spinning HD XD
Yeah, about that - I've been using my SSD as my main drive (OS/programs/games) for almost 5 years now (in 2 months time), and it's still going strong.
As with any HD I'll likely replace it soon not because it's worn out and dead (like SSD ludites claim), but because there is new tech/more capacity/more speed
Are people seriously still using standard HDs?
>He fell for the SSD meme
I too did fall for it 7 years ago and now I'm using nothing but SSDs.
Only reason I got an SSD was because I got ultra OCD about HD noises when I got a laptop fro University
The fucking spinning and head parking drove me to insanity
>mfw 1TB SSD just dropped below $200
My 120GB SanDisk has 35143 hours on it, 4 years. Its been in two laptops and has always been a system disk for Gentoo.
Some anon mentioned this in the apple smartwatch thread, and just went on sale for 30$ on amazon.
Just bought it, looks nice.
Am I an idiot, /g/?

Unequivocally. Yo failed to use the catalog, you also failed to post in the /wt/ thread.
Now delete this post and try again.

Fuck off.
Absolutely an idiot
where would technological progress be today without the rise of Free Software?
what wouldn't exist today if we were still stuck in the proprietary "dark ages"?
>>53696269
No OS X, no rise of Apple, no iPhone, no iPad. And that's just for starters.
>>53696323
good to know. RMS is now on the "people to kill while time traveling" list. Right before Hitler.
>>53696393
the invention of the iphone has arguably redefined almost the entire industry for the better:
- due to low resources and battery power, devs now producing more optimized code, which cross-pollinates the PC ecosystem with computers from 10 years ago still being usable and relevant
- capacitive multi-touch touchscreens making UIs more natural to use, paving the way for things like the iPad that nobody else could get right before
- limited storage leading to a boom in cloud services
- yearly refreshes...

What does your portable gaming desktop look like?
Did you build a custom LAN party case?

Neat idea desu but looks slightly impractical for every day use

It's for shilling purposes.
I used a hair dryer to blow some dust of my PC and now the monitor seems to not recognize the computer anymore, it's a old 2006 PC that i mainly use to work,
I tried to swap monitors, cables and even tried to connect with the onboard gpu istead of the offboard one
Help me /g/ im to poor to afford a new computer.
>>53696129
Seems like the dust was the element that conducted information across hardware.
you fried it with the hairdryer

There's a conundrum here. There are lots of good apps for doing all kinds of shit on android, but I'm not using that small screen to do anything serious. The electric jew is already tracking me mercilessly.
Android software I actually use:
