You have literally no excuse. This is why you don't wait until the last minute because anything can happen at any moment. Get fucked.

Hey /g/
I've been thinking about trying out Linux for sometime, I'd like something that looks moden and sleek, any suggestions?
>>53895426
You can make any Linux distribution look like pretty much anything.
>>53895468
this
elementary os, korora, solus or antergos look "modern and sleek" out of the box.
but you can pretty much do that with any distro by just installing a theme and icon pack
What does /g/ think of Vivaldi?
https://vivaldi.com/press/2016-04-06-Vivaldi-1_goes_final/
>>53894734
Gud stuff
>>53894734
lovely
>>53894734
>One of the things that makes Vivaldi unique is that it is built on modern web technologies. We use JavaScript and React to create the user interface with the help of Node.js and a long list of NPM modules. Vivaldi is the web built with the web.
I can't do it guys, I just can't. This is literally taking wordpress managers and turning them into javascript devs so that they can now into UI and desktop application development with said Javascript.
Just can't
How did people forget decades of being told the same advice over and over so quickly?
For years, well within the lifespan of a majority of those who use social media, they were told never to reveal personal information online.
Now they all do it, as if they were never told this advice.
What in the human condition is responsible for this?
>>53893958
It's called "my friends did it so I should too!"
>>53893958
People don't actually think for themselves, they just do what others are doing.
It will only be fixed when a wave of identity theft and crime that uses online information as aid.
So what's the difference?
Oculus is made by facebook.
They're both a meme.
There you go.
>>53893100
Vive has better head tracking and backing from Valve meaning there will be at least some AAA games for it eventually.
>>53893100
One is cheaper because it's shit and one is too expensive because it's literally gen 1
Since Vista and 7 are EOLing very soon, lets hear your thoughts on Aero. Do you miss it or are you glad it's gone?
I remember I was a Linux user for years and had never really used Vista or 7 until our work PC's were upgraded from XP to 7 and I was just blown away by Aero. I think I spent 10 minutes just moving around the windows, looking at the glow of the dialog buttons etc. I eventually uninstalled Linux and moved over to Windows because after the experience Linux felt so cheap and shitty, haven't gone back yet.
>>53892880
it's good but i don't even use it
7 is GOAT. I've already disabled updates for months now. Going to use it forever. Vista was utter garbage. Whoever's still on it needs to reevaluate their life.
I don't like Aero but custom Themes for 7 exist.
Why aren't you using the C programming language to write all your applications?
>>53891386
Because I use C# and want to earn money by myself.
>>53891386
Because I have better things to do than write a bunch of malloc and free calls.
Because I'm not a smarty pants like you...

That's it. After about 10 years I'm finally getting rid of this piece of shit. It now keeps freezing every few minutes and hogs GBs of ram. They even made the search bar unusable and removed the option to bring back the old one.
How is Opera and its addon support nowadays?
>Opera
>>53887975
That bad? I really don't like Chrome, but I'm gonna start using it, if I really don't have any other viable option
>>53888016

made by old opera team. shit's been in beta since fuckin forever but hopefully something happens with this.
also complaining about ram usage in web browsers is fuckin stupid since obviously more resources will be used as time goes on since comuters will only get faster
