EVGA 600B PSU
MSI Intel B85 LGA 1150 DDR5

Shall I wait for new cards this Q?
Can I expect something interesting in this spot from nvidia?
>>54304853
There has been rumors that nvidia is launching their pascal cards in june.
>>54304853
Both AMD and Nvidia will be releasing new cards at this price point in the next couple of months. Roy Taylor confirmed a few days ago that the Polaris cards being launched will be aiming at this upper mid-range segment and VR.
>>54304853
AMD are going to release their new cards in a month or so. Their new flagship is going to offer Fury X performance at 390(X) prices.
Nvidia won't have anything in the near future. They cocked up their manufacturing. Expect the new Nvidia cards in six months at the earliest.
Hey guys,
what do you clean your touchpads with?
I use cleaning gasoline.
Is there a better way?
I wash my hands so I don't have to clean my touchpad.
Isopropyl alcohol.
>>54304864
Also, to add to this, I don't even use my touchpad. I use the clit that came with my laptop because it is superior.
I see this thing in my local hospital? Turn out it's portable X ray machine. First time ever saw this.

give it back jamal
If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
Sure I wont need it. Just for curiosity.
How botnet are password managers? The very idea of all my login info in one space sends red flags to my tin foil brain
>>54304773
Offline are fine, never give them permission to use the internet.
You should seperate services.
You should never have one key, if someone got hold of it, they would have access to everything.
If you really wanted to use a "one login" solution, use a local password manager.
The private key should never leave your computer.
If you run a bigger system, separate it so nobody can access everything at once.

Enpass is very nice
I'm snychronising via ownCloud
Works great!
My boyfriend just bought a Windows tablet for us.
What's the best image viewer for reading manga on a Windows tablet (8.1/10)? It'll have to work nicely with touch only. It'd be nice if I could swipe or tap the sides to switch pages and also go to the next folder in the directory.

My GPU's fan won't run under 85% power.
It'll slowly overheat, the "fan speed" will tick up while the fan doesn't actually move, then it'll hit 85%, spin up and drown out the whole room, then die again.
Could it just be dust? Is it worth taking it apart to clean? Or is it irreparably fucked?
Also, have some mess porn of my battlestation.

with the machine off try to spin the fan with your finger, is it stiff? if so and cleaning doesnt work then time for a new fan
I have a corrupted MS Access database. The file is 18,4 MB. I have no backup. Is there a possibility to restore it?

Guys, I've had these for the past day or so now, and MBAM won't pick anything up as a threat, though it keeps reappearing even after a full scan.
What type of virus is this? What can I do to get rid of it? Have you ever seen anything like this before yourselves?

what is this? does windows keep track of previous filenames? how did it get changed?
Sup /g/entlemen, I'll be moving to a new flat in few weeks and on this occasion I'd like to setup some sort of NAS/mediacenter solution for my new abode.
Since there doesn't seem to be a relevant thread anywhere, let's have a nice discussion. What are you using, full blown PC or NAS enclosure? Are you running some proprietary OS or a linux distro? Do you also use your box for torrents or other applications?
>>54304321
Extra drives in my PC as an FTP server. My 8320 pays off sometimes....
I use a netbook with a couple of 2TB external drives attached to it. It runs debian stable and a bunch of services (transmission web, nginx, sshd and a couple of other things).
It's pretty great, I can stream my movies using mpv or add new torrents from anywhere and it's stable as fuck.
I was thinking about building something much more robust like a 12+TB box with a btrfs raid but I don't have enough money for it yet. NAS enclosures don't seem very practical for my use cases, I want to be able to add disks and have complete control over my system.
>>54304454
That sounds pretty ghetto, doesn't your netbook produce a shit ton of heat this way, I'd be worried about it dying off.
If your app isn't complex enough to merit using a framework, then you aren't really building something worth talking about.
That's really cool dude
I respect your opinion
all right which one of you is this:
