my gpu doesn't detect my second display, what should i do ?
>>54343791
Paste them with tape, make a giant monitor.
come up with a better explanation and post in /sqt/
>>54343791
This happens every morning when waking my PC from a sleep state.
The primary monitor is detected but the 2nd display isn't I just have to unplug the display port from either the back of the GPU or the back of the monitor, then plug it back in.
Turns on instantly.

Pajeet please finish your ESL course. Shitposting can wait.
What is that
how does /g/ get the motivation to program, besides money?
>>54342985
It's fun. Money isn't a motivation.
Same motivation that drives a lot of people to do shit.
Most programmers enjoy tackling problems and creating shit.
Once you do it as a job, it can be a little soul sucking depending on the environment you're developing in, but it's still enjoyable.
I don't program.
Why did everything good in technology fade away?
>MBPs haven't been good since the retina model came out
>thinkpads haven't been good since the **30, or arguably the *6** series
>OS X hasn't been good since 10.9, or arguably 10.6
>Ubuntu plateaued at 10.10
>Windows hasn't been half-decent since 7
What ``modern'' hardware and software reflects the sanity of circa 2010?
*tumbleweed*
almost everything has gotten objectively better since 2010
the only relevant technology that has gotten worse in any tangible way is display technology and you're gonna go back a lot longer ago than 2010 to come to terms with that fact, bucko.

So this @Pricus1972 twitter account is posting these hexadecimal numbers, any idea of what is it?
Private keys and fingerprints?
A treasure map.

probably one of those people using twitter as a c&c for their botnet, you'll see them sometimes on reddit too.

>Jon Matonis, bitcoin Foundation director and economist said he was convinced Dr Wright was the founder of bitcoin. "The proof is conclusive and I have no doubt that Craig Steven Wright is the person behind the Bitcoin technology, Nakamoto consensus, and the Satoshi Nakamoto name," he wrote.
Where were you when bitcoin was revealed to be one giant shitpost by Australia?
Now that everyone knows who Satoshi is what does...

Fake. It's not him.
Bitcoin is just a meme and that guy probably isn't satoshi(not that it would matter if he was).

I mean, it's fine, and it looks sorta sexy with custom css, but I'm a little bored of it
Any dark one will do.
can you see a difference when you pass the mark of 300ppi?
I'm happy with the Moto G/E.
I don't need to brag about pixels on the internet.
For most people probably not, but if you're looking for it sure.
>>54342120
at 4 inches from the screen, someone with perfect vision can distinguish up to 876 ppi. But the average distance from eye to phone is like 16-18 inches, thats why most high quality printers can show up to 720 ppi, you don't really need more than that.
I'm convinced that my boss is an enigma. He's a completely mismanaged chaotic mess and this business is nothing short of a hilarious train wreck.
I however enjoy train wrecks and I think it's fun fucking with him.
He has two reseller accounts with a lot of sites on them. How can I subtly fuck with him without messing anything up too bad? He goes full freak out mode over the slightest issue so this shouldn't be too hard.
Any ideas /g/? I have access to pretty much everything.

how about you grow up and let it go.
>>54342111
Yeah, that's not how this one works. You cannot help this business, trust me. You'd really have to meet and try to work with the guy. He's a complete enigma.
>>54342113
No
So what's the weirdest/stupidest fan configuration (push or pull) you've ever used? I have a NZXT s340 and I was wandering what would happen if I set the fan on the top of the case to blow down onto the exposed PCB of my graphics card. I know hot air rises and stuff, it was just a thought.
>>54342039
Now that's just retarded, you can't have top as an intake
Kill yourself
I use a big fan against my open case. Makes alot of noise and shakes alot.
>>54342039
Hot air rises is a retarded meme in PC cases. The potential energy caused by the difference in buoyancy between air of different temperatures is easily overturned by electrically powered fans like a 1 year old toddler pushing against Arnold in his prime.

I need advice
>want to get Photoshop
>Ps and Lightroom is 12 European faggot currencies
>All CC apps are 60
>I want Illustrator Ps and Lr
>Is it worth it to pay 60 a month for everything?
>Should I just spend 12 and don't give a shit about the other apps?
>Is there a good alternative for Illustrator?

Into the trash it goes.
Bought a craptop (aka cheap netbook) that comes with win10 home.
I want to put Linux on it ASAP, but would like to backup the OEM key/recovery partition. Is there a easy backup solution? Is dd an option for the recovery partition?
Just want to be able to go back in case i sell it.
>>54342271
nice, thanks.
>>54341972
>cheap craptop
>sell it
What are you gonna sell it for, $50? You can make more than that panhandling for a day.
Excuse my weebness, but has anyone of you ever bought an unlocked Japanese phone from Kyo(to)ex(ports)?
I live in Europe, how bad would shipping be, worse than chinese phones?
>>54341947
I'm assuming the only supported language on something like this is Japanese?
Also what kind of OS do these phones run?
>>54341947
You will be lucky if they have English, and even if they do, it will be a mix of Engrish and un-translated Japanese. Plus, their LTE is different from ours.
Yeah don't do it op, save yourself the risk of potentially it not working at all on your network (different cell bands in asia) and just get some Japanese phone straps
>>54343520
Custom OSes usually a-la feature phones but they're much more advanced than feature phone OSes. Android sometimes but Android is virtually nonexistent in japan.
This has probably been discussed before but how do you guys feel about this
