I've been using a Transcend T.sonic 850 for 8 years now. Fucking beast. Only 4GB which is shit, and you can't really mess with the software. But I don't care, the little guy has held up surprisingly good for the time and trials I've been putting it through.

Hi /g/, I hope this is the right place to ask because I'm desperate right now.
I have friends who plays in a band, and they have a concert next week. We worked on visual effects for the whole set, including lights, strobe AND video projections. I will have to handle this on stage.
The thing is, I know nothing about VJing. I don't need anything fancy, just to launch video samples without lag to match the music. Ideally, I would like a really simple interface with a mosaic that shows the samples and the associated keyboard keys, and the video output on...

How fast is your Internet /g/?
I don't have home Internet but I just tether my phone on my unlimited data plan. About $60 a month on t-mobile.
$65/month
no data cap
I'm stuck in a hotel right now that severely throttles the wifi unless you pay extra money. At home I have 150/25. I could tether off my phone but I have the 5gb plan from straight talk and don't want to run through my data. I could get the same as what you have from Simple Mobile but I frequently travel to a part of the state that doesn't have T-Mobile service and eventually I plan to live there.
Thanks texas
My PC was fine a few days ago but now I'm getting this error when I boot:
Loading operating system..
Boot from CD/DVD
I can't run safe mode and I've tried using bootrec.exe to rebuild the BCD but it couldn't find an OS, it was searching X: instead of C: however. Does anyone have any experience fixing this? Is my HDD just fucked?

Hello /g/,
As I am look forward to the summer break I wonder about a project I want to make. I want to build a GUI based code editor for webdevelpment. I want it very much like visual studio(you can drag and drop items and resize them and style them etc in the main application , but you can also change it in the code).
I don't realy have a clear idea on how i can do that though.. i get stuck at the dragging and dropping part. How would one code that?
If(drag)
If(preop) then drop
Else if(postop) then OP
<endcode>

I recently got my computer back from the police. They took it 1 month ago for some suspected online crime but now i got it back.
The thing is, they did something to my bios or motherboard. When I turned my pc on the bios screen would vanish after 1-2 seconds but now it waits at that point for like 15 seconds.
Is anyone familiar as to what they could have done to my pc? Any policeman who knows more. This is probably some heavy bios level shit they did which probably is not known for the public.

Turn on quick boot feature in bios. Probably all they did was turn that off
>implying they'd put some backdoor that any retard could notice on boot
Are there any WiFi Linux drivers for this piece of shit yet? I bought this garbage hoping to throw Linux on there but drivers didn't exist at the time. If not, is ndiswrapper still a thing?
>>54577557
I've got the lenovo 100s with the same baytrail processor and chipset.
There are WiFi drivers but they don't work for me even on "just weeks" distros like Ubuntu.
I guess we're just stuck with windows 10 until then.

Oddly enough when I upgraded to 10 I didn't get WiFi drivers. Had to revert to 8.1.
Thanks for the feedback, anon.

What is it called to have a really powerful computer at home and just access it using some light shitty computer while out?
Just a server?
Thin client
>>54577274
The home one is a server, the light shitty computer is a thin client.

Ok thanks, that's exactly the term I was looking for.
I guess this is an open question, but is it even feasible to try this without a networking diploma or anything? It would be convenient for me, but I would rather not get my entire home network owned because I am connecting to it remotely.
