My Windows 10 machine seems to be reeeeal fucked up with sleeping. Like I put it to sleep and it basically shuts down and takes 15 minutes to get to the PIN screen when I try to wake it up. Anyone else experiencing issues like this with Windows 10?

Where does John McAfee rank on the list of most influential computer programmers, /g/?
He's just average.
He made his millions selling fear and uncertainty to people by convincing a whole generation of people that they needed antivirus to stay safe from computer viruses.
>>54626662
He's the number one murderer who doubled as a computer programmer.
Think we can all agree this is a pretty shitty color to see?
What is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT?

Hey /g/, I'm currently doing Object Oriented C++ in my Electronics Engineering degree. Currently we're told to use printf functions for all our programs but I've noticed that most programmers online use their namespace std function instead. Tell me your preference and why you prefer it over the other.
>>54626435System.out.println("Hello Word");
C++ stringstreams are one of the most retarded things to come out of that clusterfuck of a language. Formatted printing is infinitely better.
>>54626435
I use my own c style string class. anything that is not open source is a potential spying tool and should be avoided at all costs. unless the strings you are using are own source and you yourself have rad the code, dont trust it.
So what do the cool kids use these days for a server OS? How does this contrast with real world working environment OS system choice?
I've been out of tech for a few years, so basically I don't know what people use today?
Debian, it's stable and fairly light.
>>54626347
debian or centos
Debian, RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu are still top dogs.
Windows 10 bash cannot even run MySQL server? What a POS? This is supposed to replace Linux on the desktop.

Fucking POS.

It's supposed to replace something that doesn't exist?
If you're an Android user, know what the Xposed framework is all about, and like browsing XDA for news and shit, then here...You Are Welcome.

Started using it a few days ago. Much more cohesive then the Xposed installer app.
Still a little buggy though, crashed on me a few times already.
Can we make this a Xposed thread
>>54626381
>Xposed installer app
The xposed installer app is amateurish, horrible gui, and just plain painful to try and find modules. Hopefully this XDA app will become the goto way of finding and installing xposed modules.
Xda Labs is awesome! THX anon!

Have you ever thought what would be like if Google disappeared?
