My GTX 760 is bottlenecking my Q6600 in Doom.
Do I really need a new graphics card?
CPU usage 60-70%
GPU usage 100%
Maybe id Tech 6 is just very efficient isn't shit?

2007 inthell called they want their Quad Core back

>there are people here that still believe the A+ is the easiest cert on earth and only retards fail it
Not only does it cover a huge range of subjects but the sheer amount of pointless memorization questions and questions related to outdated junk is enough to get even a seasoned tech to fail. I passed both tests but it took many nights of memorizing the minimum hardware requirements to run windows xp and how to daisy chain SCSI devices.
network+ is meme-tier easy.
So you found the tard certification difficult?
Half the people here haven't took it, the other half failed it and claimed they passed it
What is the best android music player that can do the following?
>play opus
>correctly read embedded album art
>play/pause on lock screen
>not a god awful ui
There has to be one out there somewhere, android music players can't all be just a big meme.
Also bonus points if it has the following
>folder browsing
>album thumbnails
>opus

If only God allowed higher resolutions and internet access, then I would probably install this as my daily work OS.

Firefox is great. I started using meme browsers only to realise firefox is the best there is
Vivaldi is shit, Chromium is OK.
Waterfox is OK if you're willing to work around the bloat.
I don't know much about Pale Moon
Pale moon isn't bad. Not very fancy but gets the job done. Only downside is that you have to use old versions of most extensions.
So what's your uptime at /g/?

Yes.

Hmm, why?
No, because some websites I use are so shitty they need third party cookies to log in to. I use Self Destructing Cookies though.
Does microwaving a HDD as a whole (not only the disc) REALLY makes its unrecoverable?
is this like the counterpart version of apple fags getting tricked into thinking that microwaving charges iphones?
Smashing the platters to bits makes an HDD functionally unrecoverable. To get data from fucked up disks you need tons of money, time, and most importantly a great desire to recover the information on the drive.
No and neither does microwaving the disc, retard.
Are xiaomi pistons the real good budget shit? Or are $20 bluetooth earphones worth it?
I've had a pair of $20 bluetooth earphones for about a year now, use them for working out and biking and pretty much any situation I want earphones.
Sound quality not bad at all, bass is decent and mids are okay as well. Obviously not great but I'm happy with them. Battery lasts probably 6+ hours of use. They also stay in really well and are magnetic so they can hang on my neck easy.
>>54676015
The piston v2s were great! Unfortunately, the v3s were subpar. There's a chance they were knock off pair, but I suspect xiomi started cheaping out on the quality once they started getting mass appeal.
Cheap ass Panasonic something something's
Cost $6 a set something something
Very good cost/performance ratio something something

Let's have a power bang thread

3300mah, yes daily.
Anyone here with a larger power bank that can charge a laptop? If so - are they worth the money? How much do you actually get from 30000mah?
I have this. 20,000 mAh. I've never run out of power on a trip, but i don't use my tablet THAT much and it would recharge my phone like half a dozen times. if needed.
this has gotten me thinking about whether a small battery pack might be able to charge a laptop in the future. looking at the Macbook with its USB type C charging port, it seems people have identified that it's possible to use a battery pack, but it charges so slowly that it's almost useless. i suppose i could still make it work given that i'd just charge it while i walk around, but i'd much prefer a battery that could charge a laptop at a net positive rate during use.
at this point if batteries that charge at faster rates become more available AND if a macbook-like device comes out with 2 or more ports, i'd probably get that setup as my next laptop.
I have a pair of these, they work fantastically.
Picked them up when I was going camping for a month and hardly drained half of one. I also still had a 14 WATT solar panel as well so the battery banks were not used primarily.
26800mah
What does /g/ think of this?
