How do I prevent random pajeets from connecting to my Anydesk?
waarom zou je zo'n stomme botnet willen gebruiken? geen wonder dat pajeets uw computer willen stelen, ze denken waarschijnlijk dat je achterlijk bent, wat ik zelf nu ook betwijfel.
Are there any laptops that can match the body build quality of the macbooks? Honest question
>lose your phone
>need 2 step verification to get into android device manager, which requires your phone
Is there a way to hook a laptop display up to my desktop so that I can capture the laptop display from the desktop?
What I want to do is screengrab content from my laptop display and send it to my desktop. The alternative is to screencap it on the laptop and transfer it via email or USB drive which I do not want to do.
Using winblows you can use a Screenshot program like ShareX and tell it to save in a shared folder.
You could also use Remote Desktop Connection.
doesn't it concern you that you're using a very overpowered computer using loads of energy just to post on a anime website?
Hey guys, I have been studying technology ( Electrotechnology) For three years now and to be honest I don¨t know shit. All my basics are mixed up and now I¨m failing my class.
Since I live in the Czech Republic, the scholarship system is a lot different from the US, UK and CAN ones. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_in_the_Czech_Republic )
Anyways, right now I'm at the end of my third year at the Secondary technical school and I am failing my Microprocessor technology class (MIT). I have pretty much all the basics mixed up. Some of the questions...

Stands for Static Random Access Memory. It's standardly used as processor cache. "Normal" computer RAM is Dynamic Random Access Memory, or DRAM.
The CPU registers are the final location before data and instructions are processed together to return a result. In very layman terms, a computer takes a task from a program stored on the hard drive, puts that task into RAM, then it's put into the processor cache and finally the registers. Look up memory hierarchy...

Why is the FOSS community so toxic?
What happened to this app? It has so much potential is anyone here working on it? Is it dead?
Objectively speaking, is TCP a bad protocol? If not, why does everyone always reinvent it on top of UDP because it's too slow, or something else?
TCP is better for data sensitive to errors, UDP is better for data sensitive to time. It's why games almost universally use UDP (with a custom control stack on top as you said), so the players and server dont have to wait for bad packets to retransmit. TCP would be very unfavorable in time sensitive applications.
So what disks does /g/ swear by? What has failed? Longest living hard drive you have?
Does anyone here have toshiba x300 disks? They are cheap (£140 for 6tb) but I can't find any reviews of them anywhere for some reason.
Personally I have 4x4tb WD meme reds which I regret buying because they're expensive and slow as shit. The 3x3tb Toshibas on the other hand only cost me £65, half of a 4tb Red and much much faster and don't run much hotter although they're 7200rpm.
Seashit reporting in.
It's been 'failing' for 3 years but still just twerks.
It's the glorious barracuda 7200.11, 3 of them died quickly but this one seems bomb proof.
I have 3 hard drives 2 of witch are stand-ins for something else.
1x Maxtor 8Mb 7200rpm 40GB HDD made 1999
(failed on me 3 times in 2015 Very loud now bearly even boots corruption everywhere thing is too subborn to die)
>(replacing with SD card did testing today passed with impressive results at 80mb/s read need to clone the disk and use 4adapters to get it to go and yes it all works with all four adapters)
1 3tb HDD Seagate less than 5 months old using it as a stop brake for very large storage for now, brand new. .(replaces exact model dated 15 years old again just 7500 writes no bad sectors never had a problem like ever.)
60GB fujistsu IDE Laptop drive)
( having problems being external drive keeps erasing it self on power off super annoying fuck IDE unstable shit first platter showing signs of failing)
1 WD 500GB 5400RPM disk read errors everywhere same age as the seagate died right on end of warranty loud as fuck and shit at everything
now paper weight lol.
1. 20GB IBM HDD 7200 RPM
this thing woun't fucking die or lose data 25 years and still no error just fucking die fucking HDD shit. (now powers my "smart" washing machine)
not long until in stop being on the HDD master race
>when someone recommends gimp as an alternative to photoshop
>mfw someone recommends windows server as an alternative to centos
What is this?
An anti-oppression dongle shield. You use it when you have to use a USB flash drive with a computer that may or may not have been used by a cis-gender shitlord whose sadistic hate speech is designed to tear apart the fragile fabric of society as we know it.
any more of that comfy shit ya'll were posting the other day?
