How's your airflow?
Hell if I know. I just installed a case fan and I don't even know if its blowing air in or out.
if i have 3 chrome windows open, is there a way to move them individually on the task bar? i hate that if i close one by accident and open it back up, there's no way to put it back where it was unless i close and reopen the others.
hardware: surface pro 2
os: windows 10
problem: my performance turned from good to unbearably shitty in an instant. my mouse drags noticeably behind, a game which previously ran with around 60 fps dropped to 14 fps. I don't know what's going on.
Where would you rate Steve Jobs on a scale of 1 to 10 as one of the greatest human beings of all time?
And we must celebrate and remember him by buying as much of his present and future legacy as possible.
They have a D630 at the local goodwill for $150. Should I buy it?
Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on Gearbest, AliExpress, eBay and similar sites.

Hey /g/, what would your ideal operating system be?
Mine would be Mac OS but with the freedom and support of Linux.
Illiterate tech fag here, I'm in need of a new laptop, with at least an i7 core processor and some sort of graphics card for the simplistic PC games I play.
Anyway, I was thinking of getting an Ideapad 300, however I'm not sure how good it's graphic card is / if I should get something else for around the same price. Thoughts?
>Google Drive is STILL not available for Linux, the little message telling Linux users to "hold on" is gone from the download page
>Spotify for Linux officially no longer in active development
>Scrivener for Linux discontinued
>SteamOS is a flop
>Adobe Creative Cloud, no indication of ever coming to Linux
I NEED hope. How can I know it's not over?
Is it possible to start a career in data science without a graduate degree?
No, due to reliability. You can know pretty much everything about it. But if something goes wrong or if you do something wrong. You'll be blamed because you don't have a degree. Which is a risk.
Maybe. Blog posts like https://blog.intercom.io/machine-learning-way-easier-than-it-looks/ indicate companies are open to the self-educated as long as they deliver. I think this will especially be the case in "hybrid" ML/dev jobs.
Welcome to Italy :'-)
HOW WILL THE SHILLS EXPLAIN THIS?
>GTX 480 causes housefires
>RX 480 fries motherboards
Its almost as if it was destiny...
No motherboards have been fried. The 750ti drew even more power from the PCI and didn't fry any boards

Where do I begin if I want to truly understand how to Linux, /g/?
most I can do is copypaste commands in the oogaboogabuntu terminal
>ads after every second song
