Hey /g/ I turned my storage shed into an actual guest room which in turn became my office.
I have cox cable and have that connected to a Motorola SURFboard which connects to a Buffalo WZR-600DHP Wireless Router.
Due to the walls in the main house I lose signal halfway in. Is there a router you recommend that I can set up as an access point to increase the range without losing the strength?

Bump
Point an Ubiquity antenna in a window towards the shed. Don't forget to disable Airmax.

Would need the router in the office cause I am using wired connections for the PC and the consoles
Hello , /g/entoomen.
Today , I come to you with a problem.
My car audio reciever is not working properly.
It only picks up stations when te symbol I pointed to with an arrow appears on the display.
The rest of the time all you can hear is static.
I should also mention it works at random.
The manual says nothing about this symbol or what it means.
Do any of you have a clue as to how to make it work all the time or what this symbol means?
...the symbol that implicates that you are on a channel instead of listening to static?
>>46601712
Maybe ,but when I set it to a frequency that I know has a channel , sometimes it works and other times it's just static on that same frequency.
As I said before - it works at random and I'm looking for a way to make it work all the time.

All Hard Drives have trojans in their firmware? The hell? Is my Linus Machine safe?
Hey it looks like RMS was right about proprietary software
Again
No, you've wasted your life.
Linus sold his soul to the US government in exchange for citizenship for himself, his wife and kids.

We've been discussing this over at /pol/

What if Linus Torvalds is just angry because he's had to use Linux for 20 years?
He got chubby.

How about put it back together and figure out what's wrong instead of trashing it like a 7 year old

Choose a fairly underused MOVE. Change one quality about it. I'll go first.

What do /g/ think of tails? From someone who knows very little of security I think it's pretty cool but wanna know what you guys think. Do you use it? Alternatives?

>tails
You are now on a list anon congrats!
>>46536872
I've used it a few times. It's debatable if it's more secure and anonymous than whonix, but tails OS is pretty good.
>>46536896
you got put on a list just for posting on 4chan.
>>46536896
Considering that you're both into technology and on 4chan you're definitely on the big bad "hacktivist suspects" list.
Ross William Ulbricht did nothing wrong
the FBI are bastards
who the fuck are you and why have you been posting this poster all over my school
he did literally everything wrong.
hope you got that dead man's switch set up.
He kept notes... a fucking diary... on a criminal conspiracy he was running.
There's a special kind of retard out there.. a retard that's so stupid that he actually thinks he's smart... and he's one of them.

Ok /g/. I download roughly 10-20gb of japanese adult videos every day. It has reached the point where my 3tb and 2tb drive are completely filled up. This is forcing me to delete older videos to allow me to download newer ones, which kills me a little bit inside.
I have 2 more 3tb drives, but I don't have extra room in my case because my graphics card is so huge that I have to remove the HDD cage (fractal r4) to fit it inside.
I figure I should just purchase a hotswappable HDD bay so I can organize my files without having to replacing the cabling in my drives...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

You should still be able to fit 5 drives in there even with a long card in a R4. I have a 290x Tri-X in mine and it works. What the hell do you have that's longer than that?

I think you got a bigger problem than your storage issues
What was the first mobile phone you had/used frequently /g/?
Also, general old mobile phone nostalgia thread.
Behold!
I had a Phillips Savvy
Siemens M35

(It's almost done, only thing missing is the problem above.)

how would i have made it smaller i.e. not relied on 100 assignments
all it does is add a series of numbers' squares or cubes
no fancy equations allowed
did a thing in c to make sure a loop has a minimum frequency of 1 iteration per second. it seemed simple but ended up being a little involved.
