I'm buying a built gaming computer from a local tech shop, and I asked them if they could install me W7 but they tell me they'll just install W10 as those are the only official isos they have laying around nowadays
I already tried W10 in my current PC and ran like shit, but I guess in this one will be better. But I'm a bit afraid of the activation method. The KMSpico found here ( forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/65739-KMSpico-Official-Thread ) will be good enough?
What about the whole stories about telemtry, spying on me and so on. I'm as fucked...

win10 would definitely be better, both 8 and 7 will become botnet soon anyway, dual boot 10 with linux and use 10 for gayms and linux for everything else
Likely the DDoS attack on ProtonMail was orchestrated to follow with an offer of generous "help" it could not refuse, necessarily a re-route of all traffic through third-party "anti-DDoS" systems. Now the "Switzerland" based privacy firm is proxied by an Israeli firm for traffic analysis, network exploitation of users, cryptographic monkeying. Israeli expertise in the latter is unmatched. Classic gov-mil cyber op with great PR happy ending for exploited asset. Users of ProtonMail must not fret; they got lucky with this fumble. Don't trust this...

I find a Microsoft edge to be a pretty fast browser that uses the least memory. any open source alternatives? firefox is slow as shit, and uses more than 10 times the memory that Microsoft edge uses. I don't feel comfortable using Microsoft edge because It's Microsoft. I hate Microsoft.
>>51309149
Install gentoo
>>51309149
that at how much memory waterfox(a firefox variant) uses in comparison to Microsoft edge

It looks like I just had a BSOD, the system HDD activity led blinks crazy fast, then it just goes to sleep.

Never have a problem but i still hate it because some dumb shit "apps".
I will say that Win 10 seems to have given my speakers an extreme left channel bias. Now I know steroscopic sound biases a channel, generally left. But this is like a 5-10dB bias. So extreme I had to fuck with balanced. Then suddenly, the bias seems to have disappeared. Dunno why mang.
With its scale..
With the way you use it..

You seen its benchmarks, nigga? That thing is trading blows with the Surface Pro 3, and it even costs $100 less.
Time to stop denying it: the iPad Pro is a real computer, and we're only seeing the beginning of what's about to happen.

I have a chromebook with opensuse, my problem is it only has 16 gigs, and it's actually affecting my school work.
How do you guys cope with this, I've thought of having an external HDD, but wanted to hear some opinions and experiences before moving forward.
The issue is that I need to practice photoshop and illustrator for my certificates, but since I won't be able to go to school and practice I'll be forced to do it at home, so yeah.
???
There are some very small 64GB flash drives that you can connect and then forget about. Like the SanDisk ones.
Sleep tight hammers
>also how much could you theoretically expand a chromebook storage? Are there any limitatins to it?
>Inb4 use external storage
Yeah but i meant to expand its inner SSD so to installato more apps/programs
Did I do good?
Water cooling?
If yes, yeah you did

Where were you when Internet piracy and torrenting died?
Some of this news isn't gonna surprise some of you, while others are going to be completely deflated; unaware of what is really happening in the bigger picture of torrenting. Things are getting serious for everyone and you should expect to see many sites take the plunge into oblivion in 2016. With agencies cracking down and beginning to hold ISPs accountable, there is no bright spot for those that don't want to get just as serious and invest the time and money it will take to keep going.
This includes torrent members as well. You will have to do your part in the future, or get a different hobby as torrenting won't be an option. New sites won't be able to get off the ground and old ones will simply give up not having the willingness or funding to keep going.
There is a ton of information out there that has been released over the past year or so, but the information that has mattered most is circulating right now. The related issues of today aren't just limited to torrenting, but streaming is becoming an issue as well for many agencies. Those free streaming sites and game servers seem to be new targets for those that want to squash us all.
Some of you may state that they've been at this for years and haven't accomplished much, which is true, but the game has changed my friends. We find ourselves in a world of technology and the rules aren't the same as yesteryear. ISPs are blocking IPs, DNS, proxies, VPN services etc.. Never before have we've seen such a global collaboration and effort to cripple piracy.
