I just got done with a 1-week ticket about a "Windows 10 driver problem" that ended up being a firefox problem
how do i make firefox have the same width as safari?
also, the shit uses more battery power than chrome, so yeah it's not optimized
Does alaska have good internet and will my ping be 900000000
Depending where you are in Alaska you'll probably be limited to satellite internet which isn't terrible but your ping will be too high to play games.
But there has to be a decent size town with Wimax or something I'm guessing
/g/, I'm looking for a tablet device to take on the go just to read my huge collection of .pdf and .epub files. Are there any /g/-tier tablets at a decent (sub-$150) price? I've looked into the Kindles but they seem somewhat lackluster for the price, and the lack of full color puts me off.
I bought a paperwhite to bring all my pirated text books to class with me and I'm very happy with it. Maybe look into the Kobo or a non-eink device like the Zenpad S 8 inch? The zenpad has awesome specs for the price. High PPI too.
What's the best gtk based DE and how does it compare with KDE?
GNOME is the most polished and stable. Plus the way it deals with workspaces is better than other DEs. You just have to get used to something different than a traditional start menu.
Isn't this like the 5th "Which DE is best" thread today? Look in the archive.
Is an i5 4690 to weak to pair with a 1070? Thinking of moving up from my 970, but I don't know if I should just do a shiny new build.
I don't know what to do /g/
I want to pick up a raspberry pi-like computer with similar processing power to a modern smartphone.
What would be my best bet? Cheaper is better.
Do PSU's wear out over time and produce less power?
I have an 850W PSU from Corsair that I've been using for 5-6 years. After building a new machine with about a 400-500W requirement I figured I could carry over my PSU as well as the GPU & Case.
Well I can't get the thing to boot correctly. I'm receiving continuous short beeps which according to the Gigabyte beep codes for this mobo means a power issue, but upon reassmebling my old build the PSU works just fine.
I've swapped out to different parts multiple times 3 different...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Do you know what else could be a problem if the beep codes suggest PSU failure?
If I am reading the Gigabyte website correctly, continuous short beeps says the PSU has failed, but it is working for my previous build, which isn't much further from the total wattage used. Even if it wasn't close I still think I have 200-300 extra at least.
Fuck yes... It's finally happening. Backing up to an external as I type this. About to set this bastard up. 250GB 850 EVO. The dream is real!
I've already replaced my laptop HDD with a sandisk SSD, It's been nice so far, The speed boost was well worth it, Not to mention the battery life increase.
Might go with one of those fancy new samsung drives for my desktop.
Are they done with? What will my techfu Elizabeth end up doing next? I wish I could save her ._.
>haven't had to restart my computer in 3 weeks with windows 10
not bad for winblows
or what would you prefer?
OK are reference cards really THAT bad?
Guys I can't fucking decide. Is Matte coating worth the $30 difference per monitor?
How does 4chan work? Is the number assigned to each comment just a tally of how many posts there have been since the beginning of the website?
>How does 4chan work?

> Is the number assigned to each comment just a tally of how many posts
it's the tally of memes posted since the beggininging of tiem
Why is this browser so shit? It's such a burden to use. Give me stable multiprocess already! Also make it faster.
They have it, but you gotta enable it manually. But they're also bloating it with shitty botnet stuff, so best compile it yourself with appropriate patches.
