Is dissecting others' code the fastest way to become accustomed to a language you're new to?
>>54298368
yes
just use libraries learning how to code is pretty pointless
>>54298419
But what if there isn't a library for what you want to do?
What programming language you think is actually the most useful so far? and I don't mean the one you like most obviously.

What are some resources for learning CE and EE on my own?
I'm planning to study CS (real, pure CS, advanced algorithms, optimization, discrete and numerical math, compilers, etc), but I'm also interested in CE, I want to know how computers actually work and I figure it would be quite useful if I want to get into system programming. Also, I want to be kinda more independent, to be able to diagnose my computer problems on my own (and solve them if possible) or maybe write device drivers myself if something doesn't work. Oh yeah, I find fiddling with microcontrollers...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Well, you really need to start off by learning quantum mechanics first. Then you should proceed to the fisher-price guide to integrated circuit design.

Okay /g/, I'm trying to buy a main board for my broken TV. But on the websites there are boards that match the tv model but not the part number. Does the part number have to be the same? Or will it be fine as long as it has the same TV model number. I've been googling for hours right now suffering.
Bros, I love you.
