Why aren't ya buying a Fury X now that it's only $400 on sale?
Sure a 1070 can OC and get you more performance, but that doesn't come water cooled, nor does it support DX12/Vulkan like the Fury X does
because i am poor
>>55529079
Don't worry anon, the RX 460 will be out soon enough
>>55528974
You're literally are better off buying 2 480RX if you're a massive AMD fanboy, or just a 1070.
Why is nvidia so good?

How long until being able to easily slap random Linux distros on your tablet/phone become a thing?
>>55528784
it's already happened, look at Android, Android is Linux. GNU? Oh well you can already do it especially with most shit getting better CPUs just look at OnePlus 3
>>55528882
How to install gnome 3 on my tablet?
>>55528784
I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn...

So the app forces to have full access to your email and like the dumbass I am I used my professional email rather than gaming email.
Other than denying full access which is the only option as well as changing passwords; is there anything else I should do? Send them an email to support to use my spam gmail instead?

Have you guys ever head of DNS Bit-squatting? It's when a bit in a DNS String gets flipped and the domain gets mangled. The main cause for this is memory corruption, which can be avoided with ECC, and electrical network problems, such as wiring. So, someone requests something from gstatic.com for example, and a bit gets flipped or lost, and the following could occur:
gstathc.com
cstatic.com
gstauic.com
gstatis.com
gsuatic.com
grtatic.com
gstatyc.com
gstapic.com
gstitic.com
gstatib.com
gspatic.com
wstatic.com
g3tatic.com...

This is interesting. If what you're saying is true then that means this happens at least 10000 times per day. When you compare that to the actual amount of successful requests it doesn't seem that improbable.
Now here's the real question, how could one take advantage of this? Maybe try to serve something malicious to the requests ?
>>55528736
There is a Def-Con presentation about this. The requests were pigging g3tatic.com and asking for the Google logo, and the guy server an image that said "Occupy" in the Google style. He got a a LOT of requests. Its because phone memory corruptions is frequent because of heat.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Sgaq6OYLX8
>>55528666
so how many of these requests were just bots trying every possible ip in every possible way?
so how the hell do I install Nvidia drivers on Ubuntu 16.04?
I've already followed these steps (http://www.webupd8.org/2016/06/how-to-install-latest-nvidia-drivers-in.html) to no result, leading to a black screen causing me to enter recovery mode and purge the drivers.
I've also tried editing grub with nomodeset but the result is the same.
anyone knows how to fix this?
install gentoo
>>55528617
People say Secure Boot messes up the Nvidia driver, try disabling and reinstall the drivers.
BTW are you running 16.04?
>>55529014
yea running 16.04
