is the "keeping your plug after battery is at 100% will damage battery capacity" meme legit?
pic unrelated
Maybe with ni-mh, but not with lithium.
Your phone will explode on your nightstand and you will die.

Only if your device doesn't have circuitry that cuts off the charge after the battery is full. Or on the off-chance that the circuitry fails.
So denuvo is the new big anti-piracy tech, but it seems to actually be doing its job. What does it do that makes it "uncrackable" that other AP methods don't? I haven't heard much about what it actually does other than some rumors of it supposedly making a ton of read/writes to the drive
>>54699629
>What is VM Protect and game spesific custom implementations
Basically each game is its own virtual machine thats almost uncrackable.
It will only get better over time until shit gets leaked/hacked or sold.
It will be cracked one day no doubt about it.
Heh, nice try 3DM.
Regards, Denuvo dev

They don't hire curryniggers to do their job.

Why the fuck are monitors so expensive?
My phone at 5.5" has 1920x1080 pixels. A 4k monitor of 22" has a lower ppi than that. How the fuck do they go for over 800$? And TVs are a different beast altogether.
What do you think would be the production cost of a OLED IPS 4K monitor? Around 30$?
>>54699608
New tech = more expensive
There you go.
>>54699608
Big thing is more expensive than small thing. What a surprise.
Larger panel = lower yield = higher price.
Simple.
How do you manage your cables, /g/?
>>54699514
it looks much better with the monitors on!
i dont
I want to get some Chinese crap from ebay to make it look better. Help me out, /g/.
FUCK! so I know ultimately its my fault that this happened but I'm still pissed. I've had win8 and for the past half year I've been bombarded with "You won't regret w10./CNN"" best decision of my life" stupid innate adds for upgrading my windows. If that's not enough, they kept opening the update options from out of the blue, more often than usually the past week.
I left my computer unattended for 10 minutes. 10 MINUTES AND IT STARTED UPDATING AUTOMATICLY. I didn't press anything.
What's worst about this...

Im hesitating between those 2 products : they both got a very good sound but the headphone will be harder to carry all day long (unlike the earphone), but the sound and the comfort will probably be better. I would like to use them in the downtown, so could you help me to choose ? They are both at the same price (about 300€)
>>54699389
I have the earbuds. They're great. I think the form factor depends on what form factor you want - if you want earbuds, get those; if that seems weird to you, get the headphones.
What about the solidity of the earphones ? I mean, will I be able to keep them for a long time (few years at least)
Anybody else ?

Microsoft puts you in charge of the Windows Phone team/division/whatever and tasks you with getting Windows Phone up to 30% market share in the US in the next five years. How do you plan to accomplish that?
Keep in mind, if you are successful, Satya Nadella will personally give you a golden loo and a free year of Xbox Live.
it's about the software and then the distribution. basically, they would need a really good, light-weight OS that was designed with small screen sizes in mind. core tasks should be easy and intuitive, and accessible in a logical way from the user interface. the main mobile OS's still have remnants of 2008 in them, and I think now is a good time for some firm to do some rethinking given the increased computational power in mobile devices. historically, it is unlikely microsoft will be the company to do that.
in terms of distribution the OS would most likely need...

If Intel has intentionally built in a secret back door into all of its chips so that the NSA can spy on everybody, why aren't Russians exploiting this back door commit identity theft?
You'd think they would have found it by now.
>>54698815
They are. They just haven't gotten to you yet
the backdoor is cryptographically secured it needs intels private key to activate it.
>>54698856
That wouldn't take that long to crack. And when it cracks, everyone would be fucked and Intel would be sued into oblivion.
>which is why there is no back door.
