Anyone been on the Haunted Walk in Toronto? I have been to the one in Kingston and Ottawa and those were pretty good but is the one in Toronto any good? I just bought tickets to go in week or so. Anyone have any paranormal encounters while on the walk?
No paranormal encounters, but it was pretty cool. More of a historical walk, I feel. I'm booking one in distillery later this summer, so if that's any indication (I'm assuming you just mean the one over by Front St.)
I did the one in Burlington last summer with my girlfriend, and they were more adament about making it a ghost walk and not a historical walk. Also cool, different vibe. Had us knock on a church door and listen for knocks back and all that kinda stuff. Would recommend, if you feel like driving a little further.
We have a suspicious photo...

The Kingston one was really good. I did it when I was younger so I don't remember it all. I had what I believe to be an encounter. So my dad and I went to this bookstore before the walk. We actually didn't know it was on the walk to be honest. We go upstairs in the bookstore and we are looking around and a book falls on the ground. Mind you we are the only ones here. Temperature drops and it actually gets chilly(mind you this is on a hot august day and we couldn't here an air conditioner.) Weird things...

I did the Ottawa one a few years back and I experienced just a "heavy" feeling while walking through the jail.
So, what the fuck is that /x/

It's fucking huge
its an underwater lava flow
Another worthless thread
I know it's late but I haven't been on x in a long ass time, but what did x think of this movie? I just finished it and loved the shit out of it.
The "OST" is one of the best I heard in ages, I really liked it too
Plebs hate it.

That and the acting was great too. No forced jump scares and the witch in the woods was fucking hot. The main girl was cute as fuck too and the ending left me sad.
I was charging my tablet and I went to snapchat and I unplugged the charger and when I did this photo popped up. I quickly screenshotted it and I looked closer at the patterns and figures. I saw multiple things that looked like numbers. Just a glitch or what is it?

WOW O SHIT
Is it still like this?
I could ask you if you have ever been lost, but as we push ourselves through branches and mud and see that they never end in this forest, we realize that we are stuck, stuck in something. . .
Might I make you aware, you are not lost in the present, you are stuck in the past.
I tell you that you must recognize were it is you dwell, and accept you have been here before.
Now I tell you, in order to leave this plane, to leave the past were it was, you must tell yourself these words.
"I wish to move forward"
Now step forward, do not...

That is wonderful advice. Most people "live" in the past and that's not truly living.
>>17823718
gonna need a source on that image
>tfw PTSD & this bullshit is exactly what every uneducated shmuck produces after hearing 'i was violently assaulted and traumatized'
>'just get over it! look towards the future, not the past! :^)))'
you are either terribly naive or an idiot, OP.
I live in Lewisberry, PA near Harrisburg. Are there any haunted places near me?
>>17823701
hey PA anon,
SW here, not far from Pittsburgh. I don't know of haunted places there, but I thought I'd post, give you a bump for interest. (If it doesn't take off, maybe just do a Haunted Pennsylvania thread. (you can also look for /x/ archives of haunted PA threads.)
Have you seen these books?
https://www.amazon.com/Haunted-Pennsylvania-Strange-Phenomena-Keystone/dp/0811732983
They have some by region available as well.

No jungle fever here boys
Where are some good areas to hunt for cryptids in WA? I'd like locations preferably on the west side, since that's where a lot of this stuff is supposedly.

The national forests of Mason county are good, my personal favorites are on Sultan-Basin road in Sultan, and old miller's house in Snohomish. I've seen stuff in those woods that scare me..
>>17823603
Like what?
>>17823629
Hearing voices and "people" chasing me in the woods, stumbled on remains, cemeteries in the middle of the woods, ghosts
Is sinister good /x/ lore or is it ridiculous?
Curious to know /x/'s opinion.
I mean I know the writer made up baghul himself. I know it it's fake. I just want to know /x/'s opinion
I thought the movie called was good except for the baghuul crap. He wasn't scary and seemed design to appeal to 14 year old boys who think they're badasses.
>>17823357
It's not a bad use of tropes as far as lore quality is concerned.
Baghul was basically an image-based version of Moloch.
But do your own fucking research OP.
Anyone interested in tanatocosmetics? make-up for dead and so on?
>>17823356
Sounds pretty /d/ to me. Not reporting your thread or anything, but you might get better luck there.

/d/? you mean /biz/ or /adv/
Ask Veda's father
I think there is another consciousness interacting with my mind somehow.
Anyone know how to identify what it is?
Some kind of mind control technology? Is my mind communicating with itself in the future? Is it a spirit?
What could it be?
>>17822938
You have to ask it, ask it with good, honest intentions and Truth in mind.
>>17822938
Literally schizophrenia, go see a doctor immediately before you lose your shit and ruin your life, OP
>>17822938
Are you a writer? Accidental tulpa.
Hey /x/, have any of you seen 10 Cloverfield Lane? Thinking if watching it as I am a huge fan of Cloverfield, but won't if it'll disappoint me.
>>17822916
>huge fan of Cloverfield
Really?
>>17822919
Unfortunately yes, really
>>17822916
Yeah it's a great movie. Just don't go in expecting it to be a sequel to Cloverfield or you will be disappointed.
Lets make this a thing to have an alternative to all the RP and autibullsllshit

Share stories of people you know and personal events that have almost caused death. Includes any major injury, OD, coma, car crash, etc. Just some point in your life that you were closest to death, and if it affected your life at all, doesn't matter if it is paranormal or not

I once got so spooked by a creepypasta that I almost had a heart attack and died. Lucky to have made it out of that one. Sheesh.
