So, what is your conception of hell, or any sort of negative afterlife, if you believe in one?
The Orthodox conception is that hell and heaven are exactly the same (first of all, we don't consider heaven-hell to be a serperate "real" from the material, but rather another dimension which property intersects, but was sundered by the fall, yet they still can intersect at times, and eventually will be restored to unity), being filled and fully conscious of the fire and light of God's love. Heaven is when you bind his love to be bliss, hell is when you find it to be agony because you hate it (like a young adolescent who is irritated by doting parents) or are so ashamed you'd rather he hate you. This of course means that people might eventually be saved from hell, even Satan, but we can't sure they ever will, we can only hope, because it requires something on their part.

I always though of hell being Earth, if we do good we go to heaven, if we do evil than we get reincarnated or become a ghost.

Well then id start off your journey with general google work. It sounds really mundane and unspiritual but trust me, it comes in handy.
If you do meditate, i can suggest trying to learn the mantra of ganesha and doing this process:
Chant the mantra while visualizing ganesha infront of you. Imagine how he is, maybe a bit movement. Try to feel how he is as a being, a person. Remember what you learn about him in your research. Try to remember his main traits as a god.
As you gain a stable visualisation and you feel confident and concentrated (the first few times itll be hard, no worries) imagine a ray of light shinning from his head. This light hits your forehead and you absorb the essence of ganesha. Feel how it is being him, adopt his world view and his atributes. Spend some time in that state, you can chant the mantra while doing that if you feel really distracted. Remember that this doesnt mean you literally are ganesha, you dont et superpowers.
When you feel sayosfied, id stay in this state for a minute or two more, its realy pleasant once you get used to it. Then imagine all of the visualisation, your body, everything slowly fading. At that moment, usually for a few miliseconds at first, your mind is blank. Try to look into the blankness without actually creating more thoughts. This is hard, and remember that this state is not nihilisticly empty, its full. Dont become nihilist.
At the end visualize the whole world coming back to place, or dont, it doesnt change much.
Id do this sober cause doing it on weed can make you paranoid, and i cant imagine other things.
Thats as much as i can say as i dont know ganesh specificly and the meditation technique i gave you is in general applicable to almost all hindu and buddhist meditation deities.
With practice, try adding more and more detail to the visualisation of ganesha. His rings, exact numbers of beads on bracelets etc. its hard but with practice its amazing what your brain can do

I've been depressed for about 6 months. I have manic depression. And for about two months I've been having weird paranormal experiences. I've never had them in this house before, so I don't understand why now. I constantly feel like something is watching me. And sometimes I find myself talking to myself. Or to 'it'. a little over two years ago, everything bad happened to me all at once. i'm a lesbianfag, and my long-term girlfriends parents finally found out about us after four years and lost their shit. They coerced her into moving back to her hometown.
since we lived together, and we also had two other roommates who were, at the time, graduating and leaving the state, i couldn't afford to keep living there myself, so at the very last minute I decided to move back in with my parents across the country.
I had to quit my shitty job at Barnes and Noble so I had no job, no money, no girlfriend, no friends, and I was literally living in my parents basement. plus I was $150k in student loan and credit card debt.
I could feel myself going fucking crazy. it was horrible. I couldn't sleep at all for days at a time, even though i was doing nothing. i called suicide hotlines nightly just to talk to people.
one night on /x/ some anon was saying he'd do some magic for people, something about Golden Dawn principals. I emailed him and told him my situation, and that I wanted my girlfriend back.
he said "careful anon, i can make it happen, but sometimes it happens in ways we dont expect." and of course i was like "I dont care just do it"
a couple weeks later my gf finally contacted me after a month. said her parents had been more or less mentally torturing her and that she was fucked up. she said we couldn't ever be together and to stop talking to her. we fought and I couldn't sleep again
my parents were gone for their anniversary trip and i was alone in the house for a week. my dad keeps his guns in his bedroom closet and at the moment i was just like "let's fucking do it. just one moment of pain and it's over." I grabbed a shotgun. It was loaded but I'd never shot before so I couldn't figure out how to cock it or get the safety off or whatever. I chickened out and scheduled an emergency meeting with my therapist (cont)
