They don't want you knowing this, but the creation of Survivor dates back hundreds of years to the founding of Florida.
You see, Juan Ponce de León had indeed found the fountain of youth those many years ago. Sadly, he could not understand how to manipulate it to grant him eternal youth. Instead, he gathered a team to investigate and develop a greater understanding of the fountain so that future generations of the de Leon family could reap the riches.
Well, many years passed and they finally figured out how to harness the powers of youth in the fountain.
It turns out, that a passionate connection must be made between man and the elements for it to work. The only notable problem is that the only one able to reap the benefits of the fountain of youth is he who connects man to the elements.
So, they (the investigators of the fountain of youth) knew they could not kid nap people as it would block the possibility of a connection to the elements between the person. Their solution? Survivor.
Jeff Probst, the great great great great great grandson of Juan Ponce de León was to be the host of the show in which he would place a number of people in the middle of nature for a reward they all desperately wanted. The only thing standing in their way? The fire. By day ten, each contestant would have a spiritual connection to his/her fire. And, because Jeff connected them to the elements, Probst maintains youth every time a contestant's flames are put out. Thus explaining his youthful appearance.

hey /x/, i'm experiencing some existential anxiety and i want to get it out.
i'm afraid of immortality and infinity. i don't believe that death can be the end, inexistence seems impossible and nothingness volatile. i'm afraid that some part of me will continue forever and never die. i'll never understand the bigger picture of reality, but i'll never end, in an eternal state of chaos. this is my biggest fear.
Well dont worry about it. The mind is affected by biological functions which means that it is intrinsically connected to the human body - which in turn means that it cannot exist in a permanent state. When you die that will be the end of your conscious state. Otherwise you will be in heaven and be able to ask for its end anyway.

Alright /x/ I need some help, I'm down visiting my parents in the middle of goddamn nowhere in Atlantic Canada. It's almost 11 PM and my step dad and I are getting ready for bed. We start hearing a weird noise, that kind of sounds like three barks/owl screeches and then another one that starts in on a high note and ends on a low one (think the noise you hear when you die in Mario) Anyways, this noise is coming from behind the house in the ravine, in front of the house across the street, and other way in front of the house farther in back in the woods. We've never heard anything like it, any ideas on what it is? Also, our seven cats and a rabbit are freaking the fuck out. Would have posted sound clip, except step dad started throwing snow balls and it retaliated.

when I was 6 years old I was out my house when suddenly a light in the sky appear it barely could loom through cloudy sky I stared it and I guessed it was an UFO had as 9 lights in all shores and one in the middle then the UFO began to move everywhere it did a erratic movement and it slammed on the brakes I think if someone had been into that UFO would have broken their bones when it moved did a buzz very seemed when in star wars brandish the saber it displaced faster than other thing in the world compared with it a war plane is a piece of shit it last 30 minutes at least then the UFO disappeared I have never seen anything same since then, thence I see the sky hoping see anything same again it is all I do not know if someone has seen something same or has had some experience seemed to mine

I live in a quiet town as hell, even his name is "Serenity" (La Serena in Spanish). The fuckin city has almost 500 years but it was dominated by neoliberalism and plastic social climbing. My country, Chile, has little to no native cultural traditions, despite living in Latin America. We become more like a Third World copy of an idyllic American small town in the 50's than a Latin city.
The thing is, Im on a personal mission to restore magic to this godforsaken town, or at least try, through rituals or what really suits the case.

You ought to do something to get towards the goal, after you have done the magical spells.
In your case, I would ask the indeginous people for advice.. Like the indians. If they practice magic. You can make it an event, where many people come and see the ritual on a stage. They may even pay for that.
