Well, I'd try and get the whole neighborhood to band together and make a fortress out of it. Where I live is mostly rich southern white folk with guns, my house included.
My house has a stockpile of ammunition and canned goods along with a gun for everyone in my family. We have plenty of bottled waters, have a defensible home and all that great stuff. I've always dreamed of making a grand trip across America and seeing if I could find and save my internet friends and bring them home. Alright, this is going to sound fucking nuts but bare with me, I'm shaking as I type. My buddy, Drake, is in New Mexico. I am in Wisconsin. He told me last night his wife saw some strange, human figure in their backyard (side not, they leave in the mountains innawoods) followed by a scream he describes like a fawn in distress with blood in its mouth. Earlier that day, they saw a deer shredded to shit with no head near their house. They have mountain lions and black bear, but nothing does that (he even went camping once and a bear came up to his tent, got on its rear legs...

He also said he saw the thing as his platoon buddy Ramirez, exactly like him, and as the white figure with skinny as fuck, thin limbs and taller than him (he's 6'4"). I live in NC. An urban legend is that there is a bridge near Jamestown that is "haunted." Basically, you go there around 2am and you'll see a girl who appears to be hitchhiking. Legend goes that sometimes, people pick her up. She tells them where she lives, and they ride to her house. After getting to her house and knocking on the door, they are met with an elderly woman who explains that her daughter was killed in a car accident on the bridge. The girl then disappears.
I think it's bullshit, but that's the only spooky thing I can think of around Piedmont NC.
