Thu/Fri Jan 8 – GUEST: Stephen Bassett
Stephen Bassett is the executive director of Paradigm Research Group founded in 1996 to end a government imposed embargo on the truth behind the so called “UFO” phenomenon. Stephen has spoken to audiences around the world about the implications of formal “Disclosure” by world governments of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race. He has given over 1000 radio and television interviews, and PRG’s advocacy work has been extensively covered by national and international media. In 2013 PRG produced a “Citizen Hearing on Disclosure” at the National Press Club in Washington and recently launched an initiative seeking the first hearings on Capitol Hill since 1968 regarding the extraterrestrial presence issue. PRG is also working to see that issue included in the ongoing presidential campaign.

>Chris Carter “rescheduled”,
I want to hate rape Arts child bride and Heather in the ass
Chris Carter didn't rescheduled. He canceled because he thought that he was doing the show with Art Bell.
Also Keith Rowland sent out another update and it is amazing! It's passive aggressive and even caustic at points. He has a long rant against Michael Vara. Read it all. The ass pain is real!
I've archived it case he changes it or deletes it.

Four shows have quit DMDN:
Howard Hughes' The Unexplained
Michael Vara - Late Night in the Midlands,
Paranormal Central with Jeffrey Gonzales and Allen Thomas
Dr. J
Keith confirms everything that Michael Vara said in his blog post and show. Read and listen here:
http://lnmradionetwork.com/dark-matters-dark-mission/
Also they had a fight over Gary/ Mad Martian calling into Hoagland's shows and then Vara having him on as a guest.
Howard Hughes would have been the new host of MITD but he said "fuck it" and bailed from the network altogether.
Heather's show is doing great. She has lots of listeners and $4.99 a month is quite a deal.
Bellgab is melting down and shaking and crying and their pussy hurts.

How do you come back from this one?

Two conclusions i can come to, are
1. No one ever said he was "The big great, good, wonderful guy who is like santa claus and gives you what you want" i.e. a perfect world. at least not in the actual bible. The dude in that is jealous, needy, and kinda schizoid, but all-powerful, so you didn't have much of a choice opposing him. Old southern preachers knew this, you fear the guy, he could fuck your shit up if he wanted.
or
2. God is more of the fabric of reality and existence itself, and requires evil to appreciate the good. With a lesser frame of reference, the perspective of "good" and "evil" become skewed. Say we lived in a world where there is no conventional evil. No murder, rape, dishonesty, theft, ect. If we were still wired the same, evil would become something that seems to us, petty.
In a world like that, the new "evil" would be something like your coffee being too hot, or the wind blowing too hard. we would still come up with some bullshit to dislike. so our current reality has more relative meaning with our current level of "evil"
Personally, i believe in a higher power, but if he's anything like us (like genesis makes him out to be), he probably found himself being eternal, with all the powers he could think of, and most likely got bored really quick. So he created our current reality (and possibly others) and set about creatures and systems and laws to play around with, eventually culminating in us, one of his most interesting creations. we have all the curiosity and creativity of the creator, minus the raw reality-warping powers. We are countless millennia of entertainment, and i wouldn't doubt there are other worlds, and civilizations possibly more interesting. That's just our current chunk of reality, not to mention the countless others he (or she, or it, or whatever, hell if i know) has going on.
tl:dr
If there is an infinite universe how hard can it be to believe a being of infinite power created it?
>>17186288
Okay, so what's your point?
You're saying you don't think God is as great as everyone else says he is? Gee, what a unique and thought-provoking opinion you have there.
Seriously, what's even the point of this thread?
Any of you guys up to discuss eschatology?
So, Fyodorov, the great Orthodox philosopher. theorized that possible through technology, the soul, after the restoration of all things, would have absolute control over matter down to the subatomic levels, returning matter to the state of the toy block, the plaything for joy God intended it to be for us. We'd have complete control over our bodies, and in fact all matter in the universe ("God became man so that men could become gods"). The material as it currently stands, is a master over us, and it corrupted our childlike quality. The god as a child is expressed by several philosophers (Heraclitus, for instance, and Nietzsche expresses the highest spiritual state as becoming "the child" in Thus Spoke Zarathustra--Christ said we must become as little children to enter the Kingdom of God). The material and the spiritual return to complete harmony, and we are in the material world and heaven simultaneously, as we are all intimately and acutely aware of God's love penetrating and sustaining us and all matter, it is a constant state of bliss that it spiritually enjoyed more than the finest incense or richest food.
Semi-serious question:
Why do dogs live for only a fraction of the time humans do, but are seemingly more pure of heart?
How important is consciousness in the eyes of god?
>>17185876
Dogs can't. Dogs love, for instance, but do not judge.
Consciousness is important because it gives you a higher degree of free will, but that also means you can sin. However, in Orthodox Christianity (unlike Catholicism), the lack of consciousness does not mean lack of soul, and in fact in Orthodoxy, animals do have souls. They suffer and die because of the fall of man which contaminated the material world, but their souls are probably immortal and will have bodies again with the restoration of all things.

Dogs can't sin*
Can any of the religious people of this board explain to me why lucifer/Satan is so evil?
The only people Satan ever killed was jobs wives in bible, and God ordained him to do so. God killed millions of people.
Why is Satan the bad guy?
its a gyrm bro
its biological warfare
He set it all in motion.
Maybe our religios friends can come up with a better explanation, but maybe it has to do with the fact that Old Testament God was cruel, severe and, for a lack of a better word, an asshole.

Hey guys figured it would be cool to get one of these started.
This isn't the one that is going to deny religion or anything, though it is opposed to sorcery. Both play a huge role in this regard.
If you wanna ask questions just ask.
>AI thread?
Sort of, rather than calling it AI (making it sound like a giant computer is after us, not yet maybe) I want to discuss what factors actually make your intelligence "artificial".
Think about how 4chan, YouTube, music videos, TV, and even binaural sound waves are transmitting messages that alter your decision making process.
>porn
>commercial influence what you buy
>YouTube conspiracy "facts"
>Illuminati music industry
>buzzing
>>17182498
First thing is that everything that is pure and good is attacked by lesser forms of being.
Take into consideration, religion, which up front should be flawless.
>do good for God
>charity
>help others
The whole bit. Then you have the inferior nature of the lesser entities.
>go into religious sect
>work from inside to corrupt it
>Religion becomes tainted
>conflict, "order through chaos"
As it seems, the fact is that there is a lesser nature that works, like a virus, to stunt spiritual development.
This is like injecting a banana with some chemical to alter it's molecular compound, unnatural, and not good for the body.
Last time I made this thread I discussed three different types of people. I put the green Lantern for a "will" pun
>basic theist
Not to promote which theology, but this "basic theists" just means someone who has faith in supernatural, holy characteristics regarding spirituality.
>non-theist
This is someone who considers the faculty of logic to be absolute and believe in matter before the spiritual or paranormal side of things. They are more likely to be influenced by a theist or anti-theist, but are also just as likely to not consider either side, for the sake of logical reasoning.
>anti-theist
This is the enemy. This is the propaganda and stereotype from everything you see. This is how advertising works, not always to sell us product, but false information. The claims made by anti-theists are likely to be along the lines of denial of God, destruction of religious principles, using inter-dimensional entities of a luciferian nature to work for them at the price of their soul, all to manipulate matter, rather than let the course run naturally.
So after this post might be in and out for a while if anyone is interested.
>are robots gonna come and destroy us?
>are aliens really gonna come and destroy us?
>are black magicians of the illuminati going to destroy us?
>are evil demons going to come from hell and torment us?
Going to tell you something:
>fear of technology? Put it away for a while and do something real. It will clear your head
>fear of aliens? Just because someone seems more advanced than us doesn't mean we lack equality. Why make peace? Why settle to be a slave?
>Leluminati has its secretes, but you should know that an umbrella term "illuminati" references a bunch of different groups and not all of them have the same agenda. You can find the real groups that exist
>having problems with bad spirits? This is where Holy God comes to help us, IF we ask and do our part. Even someone who loves Jesus is subject to demons attacking them
Made a few typos last one

Something I've wanted to ask about for awhile is whether or not any /x/philes had any paranormal and/or /x/ related experiences as a boy scout. (If not, I guess we can just make this innawoods general). I had several, and am more than eager to share some of them and see what /x/ thinks. If there’s interest I’ll share some stories/answer questions/whatever.

What would be the ultimate scary game /x/? How would you go about designing it? What elements must there be to best instill fear in the player?
Not knowing it's a game.
Players need to believe they're actually going to die.

Speaking on behalf of some Anon a while ago,
there was an idea of driving simulator. I'm not sure if you control the car are have like tell tale decisions during it but he described going down a paranormal back road at night where things progressively get spoopier. An example was you see a bunch of kids on the side of the road or something and can choose to keep going or pull up--which would trigger you getting grabbed and pulled out.
It's a rough idea but I really liked it and can only imagine the story he could tell.
There is something very important on the horror games, if something looks so cool it can ruin the experience.
When I played F.E.A.R. 2 it was amazing for the time, the school level was one of the best, the main idea is to be confused on what you see, being nothing or the paranormal. For that you need lots of details on your senses (visual, hearing etc) to bring confusion on your decisions of what is real and what is not.
F.E.A.R. 2 had the problem that, it was so cool at the time that the emotion of being scared could be replaced with fascination.
I know that /x/ isn't for requests, so I'll be posting my collection of creepy pastas until I run out (thus, this is a creepy pasta thread), but can you guys help me find this movie I can't quite remember?
It's a zombie movie, or something like that - where there's an outbreak of disease, and some of the infected are aggressive. It was from the early 80s, and very campy, with that really bad campy 1980s gore. The main characters were a few teenagers (I want to say three).
I know none of that is helpful, but it's the final scene I remember the best, and that would stick out in anyone's mind:
One of the two girls crosses the street after the outbreak is contained/over, and most/all the zombies are dead (and there's no fucking people around). The other girl tells her she should look both ways before crossing the street, and the first yells back that there's no one to hit her.
She's then almost hit by a typical "hot" guy from an 80s movie, who pulls over and asks her if she needs a ride.
Come on, surely someone remembers this.

Going to dump creepy pasta until we hit the image limit/I run out/I have to go, just to say. Not just requesting and running.
Body deconstruction
When one's body seems to be dissolved and deconstructed into waves, particles, vibration, light. If the deconstruction is total, there's no sense of the body left, just the consciousness perceiving hyperspace.
Breakthrough
State traveler gets after ingesting the breakthrough dose of DMT. Beyond life or death. Beyond time or space or known dimensions. Inherently synaesthetic. Ultra sharp edges and highly polished surfaces. Endlessly morphing and fractalizing details. A sense of extremely high energy and vibration as well as frantic activity. All One. Feels oddly familiar - maybe where you were before birth and will return after death? Everything that ever is, has been, can be, will be, never was, never could be .
Carrier wave
Just after a launch, travelers often hear a ringing tone or vibration somewhat resembling a carrier wave. As the ringing sensation continues one can even feel that this vibration is 'resonating in every cell of the body'. The frequency of the tone often seems to cause (or be caused by) the dissolution of the current environment, and may be a perceptual artifact of the actual raising of one's vibratory rate to levels where access to Hyperspace is possible. Sounds like a high pitched tinntinitis tone right out of the range of consensual reality hearing (maybe what a dog hears with a dog whistle) - sometimes steady state, sometimes warbling up and down, like a siren.
Central light
A lightsource, overwhelming all other experiences and perceptions. Often kinesioöptic perceived. Intense like the sun. The light possesses an intelligence. The intensity of the experience is so extreme and lets all other experiences fade to the background that the notion arise of a "central" light, like central or primal to all experience or existence. A sort of ontological bottom / centrum / axis of hyperspace. see also End of the Line . In a religious paradigm, the traveler might interpret the Central Light as Buddha, Christ, Krishna or any other radiant and ultimate being in his or her religious paradigm.
The Chrysanthemum
A gigantic, often spinning, fractal flower with a domelike appearance that frequently either welcomes or blocks access to breakthrough hyperspace.
Condensation
The sudden accumulation or condensation of synchronistic events. More often experienced before or after visiting hyperspace than during hyperspace, yet hyperspace may be seen as the ultimate synchronospheric condensation itself. A disruption, distortion, ripple in the field statistic probability, where the organizing force of meaning overrules statistic probability and clusters a certain set of events into a synchronospheric condensation.
Dimensional Elevator
Similar to a terrestrial elevator, this is a small space that travelers can find themselves in, or purposefully use, which seems to rise at great speed through a multitude of higher & extra dimensional spaces. At various intervals, it opens up on a new vista or room where one can choose to get out and interact, or stay in the elevator and continue to ascend. The feeling of rising is often accompanied by a rising Carrier Wave.
Ego death
Ego death is a complete loss of subjective self-identity.[3]
In 2015, Nathanial.Dread noted that there seem to be two different experiences that both come with the label "ego death":
"Soft" Ego Death seems to happen more frequently at lower doses, and it's a sense that, while the experiencer is still having a 1st hand experience of existing, all the mental associations they have about themselves (their name, history, self-concept, etc), have been shed, leaving some kind of pure 'self.' That self, however, is still self-aware, and still understands itself as something different from the outside world (i.e. it can draw the distinction between that which is it, and that which is not it).
"Hard" Ego Death is something described at high doses (+3.5 g of magic mushrooms, or very high doses of LSD), and that gets described as a total breakdown of the boundaries between the 'self' and the 'the universe.' It becomes impossible to distinguish where one ends and the universe begins. The internal monologue and subjective experience of being 'I' ends. This seems closer to the transcendental states described by early mystics in their writings on religious experience, while "Soft" Ego Death is more psychoanalytical or cognitive. "Soft" Ego death occurs in all cases of "Hard" ego death, but not vise versa. "Hard" ego death is almost like loosing consciousness, and more prone to descriptions such as "union," "becoming one with," or "God."[4]
"Soft" ego death is like tranquilizing the ego. It is still there but it loosens its grip on me. It could fly away at any moment with meditation and concentration but could easily be reeled back in. With soft ego death I am more aware (and in control) that it is happening. I can "play" with it more...
"Hard" or "strong" ego death is a complete dissolution and separation from me, myself and I...usually while being ripped out of my body. It is a state of being in which I am completely free from the confines of everyday "reality". It is terrifying when it happens sometimes but usually puts me in a state of bliss shortly thereafter. Sometimes (more often than not), during a hard ego death, it is like a relentless smashing of the ego. Beaten out of me, so to speak, until it no longer exists inside my consciousness. But I believe that happens because sometimes I am afraid to let go [of my ego] even if I had the intention of doing so before a journey.
The categorical approach of defining ego death as either "this or that" has met some criticism. Ryusaki has argued that the whole thing is more of an continuum. It can be anything in between soft and hard. gibran2 agreed that ego death is a continuum experience and proposed an alternative explanation:
What is being called “hard” or “strong” ego death is not ego death at all, but rather a realization: There is only “one” – the Ultimate Perceiver, Consciousness, God, All – whatever you want to call it. The more fully this is realized, the further one moves away from a personal identity.
End of the Line
When having a DMT experience and you feel as if you have reached the Absolute Point. The Alpha and the Omega of the universe and your entire existence. Then you are having a 'The End of the Line' type of breakthrough.
It may very well not be true at all, but for you subjectively it feels as if.
