Has anyone, or anyone you known ever woken up in another persons body?
Scott Bakula used to do that all that time.

My twin brother and I thought we did once. We went to tell dad, but he just laughed his ass of at how gullible we were; he moved us to each others' beds while we were sleeping as a prank, to punish us for trying to confuse our teachers all the time by pretending to be each other. It was surprisingly effective.
No, but I've always wanted to

Obviously the 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Has anyone on /x/ ever died before? Like legitimately died and was brought back to life. Is there any REAL stories out there of people leaving and coming back? I've always been curious.
Rest in peace Frank
1st of all, NO ONE has died and come back because once you are dead you are DEAD. if you came back, you weren't dead.
2nd, why post a pic that will just force people to post what the pic says instead of answering your stupid question?

My heart was stopped for a minute and 45 seconds once. Had an allergic reaction to some antibiotic. They had got it started again with an adrenaline shot. It was a trip.
Hey /x/. I recently came up with some weird shit you guys might like while sleep deprived. Sort of deep, you could take meaning or some shit, but honestly I just find it odd. Wanna read?
>being this submissive
Just post it nerd
Sleep deprivation does strange things. My hands do not feel like MY hands. They do not seem like MY hands. If so, are they really my hands? If not, who has replaced my hands with theirs? Did anyone, or was this the will of the universe? Does the universe have will? Surely it is possible, as there are infinite parallel universes. If there are infinite universes, then who is to say ours is not the one of which the universe is animate? But if it is animated, why is it so cruel? Why does it make life the way it is? Would abandoning the mortal coil please it? But why should we please it, as we are not of its favored beings? But of course one could argue that we are. That could explain my luck. But what is luck, and why do I possess it? Is it a roll of the dice, or calculations? But is a dice truly random? It has the same chance to land on any six sides, but there are constant variables affecting it. So there is no luck. Only the universe performing calculations for a select amount, some getting better calculations than others?
More.
Tbe darkness does strange things to a person's mind. Makes them see things, hear things, feel things. Can we for certain say that these things are not real, and only products of our imagination? No, for we do not know all of the boundaries of this universe.

What the fuck is that image??
Hello, I posted once before and didn't really get any responses, trying one more time.
Coworker says he started having some paranormal stuff happen upon moving back into his parents house. He's worried about his kid. We live and work in bumfuck Nebraska, closest thing military is offut afb, most spooky shit people talk about around here is native American folklore based.
We work nights. When he takes his dog for a walk it's between 1 am and 4 am, sometimes once or twice before bed. When outside he saw a black figure in the distance that seemed like a person staring. He ignored him for a while, but the dog was getting increasingly worried about it, which is unusual. He finally gets freaked out and yells "You're not welcome here!" Books it inside. Occasionally heard 3 knocks outside, but checking the window or going outside yielded nothing. A couple nights later he goes in his kids bedroom to make sure he's in bed, but sees a figure leaving over the bed. It was close to 7 feet tall, light gray smooth skin, had an agape mouth with many rows of teeth. It looked at him for a couple of seconds and just disappeared.
I can't think of anything that really matched the description and thought I'd ask you guys since this is the place for it. I mean, I figure skin walkers take on the appearance of something four legged usually. I haven't heard of grays having multiple rows of teeth. Any native folklore that could explain it? Pic not related, just something to post with.
Looks like /x/ only cares about summoning succubus waifus and being edgy.
It just disappeared without saying or doing anything or going anywhere? Not a skinwalker, then. Also not a skinwalker because skinwalkers are humans, not ghoulish beings. They're supposedly physical and would have to leave through a door or window or something.
Have any more details for us? What else had happened?

Well, when he lived there as a kid there were a few incidents where they would spot something in the house, usually leaning over beds. Supposedly he was woken up by his mom screaming at something to get away from him. He said even though his eyes were open upon hearing her yell, he saw nothing but pitch dark until it disappeared. I thought this could be shadow people, but it's not consistent with this new thing. I've only ever found strange things in the woods, which is questionable because in the woods at night it's easy to get paranoid or misidentify, but this is in his house.
Where does the Apollo 'conspiracy theory' belong on 4chan? I was told this kind of stuff is discussed here but its full of dumb people who believe in aliens and ghosts.

No one believes in anything here. It's just edgy chuunis roleplaying and people with long down time at work who come here to laugh at them.
There's the odd anon who's off his meds and actually believes the voices though.

This is worse than flat earth not only were there 1000s of NASA scientists were monitoring it the Soviets were too if it was bunk they would of called us that. And up until then the Soviets had put the first people in space, first satellite, first space station etc. So it's not to far far fetched to think the USA could put men on the moon
how can i tell if there is a demon, bad spirit or parasite attached to my mind soul whatever. are there ways? can someone feel it?

I do believe in the existence of the paranormal/supernatural (UFOs and extra-terrestrials, ghosts & spirits, ESP, etc.). However, I believe that that the best way to approach the supernatural is through a scientific and structured approach, both to ourselves discover more about these anomalous incidents and to raise the study of these phenomena beyond the level of disdain it currently finds itself in.
So let us list those cases that should be discarded from discussion or consideration due to the very high possibility that they were hoaxes/frauds. In the next thread, however, we will post those cases that - on the other hand - are most convincing of the existence of paranormal phenomena.
I want to begin with the case of the Enfield Poltergeist:
>the young girl at the center of the case - Janet - was caught in trickery a number of times (a camera once caught her manually bending spoons, and she was once discovered banging the end of a broom-handle on the roof while investigators spoke to her mother).
>Janet would not allow anyone into the room when she became "possessed" and spoke in the gruff voice of the supposedly disembodied entity named 'Bill', and on the few occasions that investigators were allowed, they were instructed to look away and/or cover their faces
>one of the Society for Psychical Research' investigators named Maurice Grosse once admitted that the children had used trickery to achieve a number of effects, though he also claimed that there was to be found some "legitimate" paranormal phenomena among the trickery
>at one point, Janet and her sister agreed to have a still camera timed to snap a picture every few seconds installed in their bedroom; subsequent photos captured Janet in mid-air, obviously using the bed as a trampoline and in a position indicative of her having jumped (though she claimed she was levitating by aid of a spirit, and other investigators claimed psychokinetic energies were at work).
I agree with you on how investigations should be concluded and went about. I haven't really heard of many iffy stories but I have never looked for them. Anyone else have some other stories like this?

The 'Russian Homonculus'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YmLWnQGZhQ
In the video we clearly see the man seal the egg in an 8-12oz plastic deli container, with no gas permeable membrane.
While a chicken egg may seem closed, it is actually porous and needs exposure to atmosphere for metabolism of the chick.
While the rate of this metabolism is a hard figure to track down, we do know it takes approximately 21 days for a normal chick to hatch, at this time all of the sugar content of the egg would be consumed. This gives us a rough estimate of how much oxygen would need to be in the container to sustain gestation of the homonculus.
After the O2 percentage of air is taken into account, we find the (assuming 12oz) container would have .106 grams of O2. This works out to .007 mol of O2.
1 mol of glucose is metabolized with 6 mol of O2. There is only enough air in the container for .001 mol of glucose to be metabolized.
When the molar mass of glucose is applied, we find out there is enough O2 content to metabolize only 0.342 grams of sugar content 30.5%. This is not even taking into account the volume of air displaced by the egg.
Given a normal chicken egg takes around 21 days to hatch, the 'homonculus' would run out of O2 and die somewhere before 6.3 days into gestation. More than likely sometime during day 4, as the egg shell would inhibit gas transfer to the homonculus. It would definitely not survive the 40 days claimed in the video.
While I am reasonably sure it is a fake, I still have yet to find a convincing explanation as to how it was faked. Many youtubers claim it is plastic and the movement is done with magnets, however he uses stainless steel forceps to interact with it. Thus making magnet use unlikely.

Just follow the trails of Ed and Lorraine Warren. They were sensationalists, and ghosts/demons popped up wherever they went.
Another case that was in most probability a hoax/fraud (and which the Warrens exploited) was the Amityville case:
>the original book claimed the Amityville home had been built over a Native American burial ground: however, local Native American leaders rejected the claim
>the book claimed that the Lutz family had seen 'cloven footprints' on the snow on a specific date: however, this claim was rejected on the fact that weather records showed that there had been no snow in the vicinity of Amityville on that date
>despite claims of extensive physical damage to the locks, doors and windows pf the house due to paranormal phenomena, the subsequent owners of the house after the Lutz family refuted these claims
>An investigation of the house feature showed that the "Red Room" was nothing more than a small closet in the basement, and had been known to the previous owners of the house because it was not concealed in any way
The entire Amityville case was a fiasco, considering all the inconsistent accounts given by different people.
I'm rather curious to hear peoples experiences, I'll post my own here soon

Lurking
im going to green text as much as i can so here ir goes
>be me, /x/ nerd, wanting to practice lucid dreaming and reading others freaking shit about sleep paralysis, etc
>goes to be one night after lurking through /x/ and other random shit
>wakes up at 3 or 4 AM, the room is pitch black, all I here is gurgling and scratching outside my window
>window is literally 3 feet away from my bed
>nope.exe
>tries to move my body, im practically glued to my fucking bed
>my legs feel like steel, theres a weight pressed against my chest, basically flipping shit now
>the gurgling gets louder, the scratching turns into banging, i think they're going bust through into my room
>suddenly, everything gets quiet and my door slowly creaks open
>im literally shitting bricks by now, still unable to move
>then, this rake like looking thing appears at the foot of my bed, its eyes glowing white, looking like it wants to fuck my shit up
>im in tears at this point, wanting to "wake up" from whatever this is
>the last thing i remember before regaining control and actually wake up was the damn thing grabbing my ankle and dragging me out of my bed
I have a few more experiences, I'll post them as well, and if anyone has anything similar to mine, I'm ready to hear.

I have one very messed up sleep paralysis story
>I was staying over at a friends house
>crashed on his couch and tried to get some sleep
>quickly doze off but get woken up by terrible tooth pain
*
>sleep paralysis was kicking in and I tried my best to crawl of the couch
>the pain gets really hard to handle at that point
>finally "wake up" and manage to get up
>go to the bathroom
>I turned on the lights and looked in the mirror
>my lower jaw was already dripping with blood and I could pull out my tooth that was troubling me the whole time
>suddendly wake up on the couch again
*
At that point I fell asleep but I didnt know I was asleep
The part with waking up again was sending shivers down my spine

Literally one of the stupidest conspiracy theories of all. Yes, "cloud seeding" and things like that exist, but are totally different.
Is it possible that Stephen King is a similar writer that of to H.P Lovecraft? I've been looking at the connections to his books and them being all closely related to them being in the same multiverse. I ask this cause it's seems relatable to the Mandela effect and what the speculation is for CERN, and the ceremony they just did in Switzerland. I was wondering if you guys thought of this to be interesting for a topic discussion. Also general thread for the >>multiverse
>>Aliens, interdimensional beings
>>Mandela effect and CERN
>>And the speculation of the writers to be either actual interdimensional species trying to let us know of future outcomes through their writings... or that they at least connected to other alternative realities where they either saw these dimensions or were shown by the sentient lifeforms living there. I mean it all could mean something I wouldn't expect them to out right say this is what I saw, they'd definitely just write books about them.
What are your guys thoughts ?
They're just fuckin' books nigger.
Theres nothing paranormal about having an imagination, even if those imaginings take place in the same fictional universe.
It is spooky, though.
But if you're looking for real-life meaning in fictional universes, I got some bad news.
To clarify, I meant Stephen Kings books all being in the same multiverse with each other not h.p Lovecraft's. The fact of all those creatures possibly being real, this brings on the tulpa belief, and I mean if this is in fact possible, then theres so many possibilities in alternate realities. Both miniscule and chaotically large in changes and differences. So then what if this is actually the agenda for our world leaders, is bringing in alternate realities and interjecting them with ours through CERN and quantum planet AI hacking.
