Hi guys
Two weekends ago there was a large concert in my town (small town which is not in USA) and many people treated it as an overnight event although I was not planning to stay the whole night only wanted to see one or two of the acts. Just after 6:30 p.m. Saturday the first band started to play and I started to feel really weird it was already pretty dark at that time but I felt that it was almost too dark I told one of my friends that I was going back home and would come back at around 11:pm when the first band I wanted to see was to start playing.
I know the band that was playing but I did not recognize the song it freaked me out a lot and I was extremely scared of walking past the stage which unfortunately I had to do to get to the exit to my car. Anyway crossed the field, past the stage and out through the pavilions (it is a sport stadium) and then you come into a court yard of sorts if you look directly out of the entrance of the pavilion you will see a row of buildings which sell snacks and stuff so you have to turn left on a path which is leading to the bathrooms where some people were standing. One guy was looking really weird and I felt paranoid as he was watching me intently. Opposite the bathroom is a very small patch of grass which was fitted with three or four benches and I walked as far around the guy, the whole time he looked at me and I remember thinking he was going to charge me (which he didn’t), the music was still freaking me the hell out sounded almost like chanting more than actual music.

So behind the bathroom on the right of the path there is a large wall which is part of the pavilion which extended past forming a sort of hallway with the fence on the left almost like the entrance of a prison and at the end of the path you had to turn left through the gate leading to the parking lot,
Here is where it gets freaky I was walking just past the guy but I did not look back at him and as I came close to the gate I just remember looking up to the sky and suddenly it was bright daylight, the music was gone and the noise of the people as well. There was still some music playing but the crowd was sounded smaller, my phone was beeping and I took it out and it read exactly 3:30 PM Sunday 1 May. There were some people around but not a lot and most were on their way out, no one was reacting strange to me being there and I was really freaked out I ran to my car which was still where I left it. I still had all my possessions and I was not hurt in anyway, my phone had a few missed calls and a voice mail from my friend asking if I was okay but nothing felt out of the ordinary. I sat in my car listening to my voicemail when I got a weird feeling again but instead of fear it was an intense dread an I remember feeling that I just wanted to be home.
I do not know where that missing hours went. I did blood tests there were no drugs in my system and I am totally healthy brain scans show no brain aneurism or anything. I was not hurt and as I said none of my possessions were stolen my car was also perfectly fine and one of my friends even sent me a IM asking if I was at the stadium as he could swear he saw my car as they left at 4am the Sunday.
What do you think happened and please no mandela effect or ay lmao’s everything is still the same except I lost almost a full day.

Recently I've become fascinated with black metal. Don't like the vocals but think it's a very interesting genre of music.
Yesterday I read something that the lead singer of Watain said in an interview. He was asked why he thinks black metal came out of Scandinavia. His answer was very interesting. He said there was something "very old and sinister" in the ground in that region of the world.
Thoughts on this /x/? Can certain geographical regions cause people to behave in a certain way? And I'm not talking about the weather. I'm talking about something paranormal residing in certain areas and influencing people's behavior. Just curious to see if /x/ has any ideas or stories regarding this.

Much of Europe is that way, having been formerly pagan and much more into the land. Not saying that pagans are more "into the Earth" but I do mean it in a more literal way. Much of European paganism and even neo-paganism is about the idea of having a spiritual connection with your birthplace and homeland. Christianity came and made another patch of land more important and "holy". Hence the focus shifted from the sacred grove to "Israel". I'll go more in depth if anyone is interested, but it's a deep subject that might help to explain what the singer was talking about.

OP here. Interesting idea but if you say much of Europe is that way then why did this evil genre of music come out of one concentrated area and not let's say Russia or Germany? Amerifag here and have been to England, Spain, France, and Italy.

I had sleep paralysis 2-3 times in my life where I saw some people dressed in white clothes/ they were white light, tall men, an old lady. I read a lot about it on internet and sometimes when I sleep (mainly when I am alone) I take precautions like not sleeping on the back. Yesterday I was alone in my one room flat and had an exam today so my mind was preoccupied.
I went to bed at around 11. I think it happened after half an hour( though I didn't checked the time) , my body started vibrating ( I wont say shaking). First thing that came in my mind was that it was sleep paralysis. So I started praying( I know it is scientific, but I still do pray for strength and confidence), simultaneously I was thinking that it is not sleep paralysis. I also started hearing static sound(like a radio receiving no signal) . I was getting more confused what is happening to me, was it a nightmare or some new phenomena. Somehow I managed to pull myself out. I went in again after 2-5 seconds. I can still feel how my body went into vibration mode. I again managed to pull out of it. My body again tried going into that mode again but somehow I managed to stop it all the time. I think this went for 1-2 minute. I had problem sleeping after that. When I searched it on the net it all pointed to OBE. I knew about it but didn't heard anything about this. Does anyone know any scientific reason to this? Today I'll try not to sleep tonight.

similar experience here. I get sleep paralysis fairly frequently, as I seem to have a wild clusterfuck of sleeping disorders (insomnia, narcolepsy, vivid dreams, night terrors, paralysis) and it has gotten to the stage where I now have dream-like hallucinations while I am conscious on my bed. They are all terrifiyingly eerie. When I slept in my bed upstairs, I would hallucinate that there was a girl with a zombie face standing beside me bed, staring into me. I would look over at the wall to my right and see words written in blood. I would try and get up and run away and in my dreams I would struggle out of bed and make it to the door and then reset at my bed. This process would perpetuate until I woke up, drenched in sweat, panicking. I normally do not sleep after this.
I have had ones recently where I am sleeping in my bed and I hallucinate that I am downstairs and a killer has broken through the window and is coming for me. It feels like I am truly and physically walking up the stairs, when really I am asleep in bed upstairs. It is surreal.
I had a very terrifying instance the other night. I was sleeping with my girlfriend and I kept having visions of her with a distortred, fucked up exorcist-esque body and a piercing gaze, speaking to me eerily. I try to get up, I know I am awake, but I cannot. I am completely frozen. It feels so very real, as if I am completely conscious and what is happening is real life. I also hallucinated my mother who had died a week and a half ago before my eyes on the floor beside me. She is covered in vomit and seizing, as she was when I watched her die. I try so hard to go to her and save her, as I believe it is completely real. But I cannot, for the life of my mother, move a muscle.
I wake up from these terrors horrified and disturbed. It is a contributing factor to my lack of sleep and I feel as if it psychologically deters me.
I am not schizophrenic. I have never hallucinated before outside of psychedelic usage.

Okay so i need any /x/perienced individuals tohelp me out here... the last few weeks this has been happening to me. I seem to have a strange geographical region in my head, i keep seeing or remembering a cove in a jungle (ive never been to any jungle) with wooden walkways, vines, animals, the works... very very detailed and specific... sometimes it hits my head so vividly that i can "remember" (for lack of a better word) the entire surrounding area... it gives me a strange nostalgic feeling, almost as if it was something i saw as a toddler or infant but i know that i never did. For some reason this jungle cove scene has some weird significance and lately i keep being reminded of it... it makes me feel like ive been in this place because of how familiar it is to me... strangely enough when i "recall" this place it strikes me the same way my childhood home does... my brain seems to "miss" this place... Ive thought a lot about it and i just cant figure out where the thoughts of this specific scene could have come from... Any input at all on whether this is weird or what it could mean would be appreciated.

After some light searching, i found that there is a way to use them, and apparently are very accurate.
