Ok, I have a question about something that happened in my browser and looking for possible explanations.
I was listening to Hotel California and told a bunch of friends in a chat room that I recently read that the song is about vampires (google "Hotel California is about vampires.") and tried to convince them about it. Well, they didn't really care and the conversation moved on to Batman, which made me think about the Joker and I wanted to rewatch one of his scenes.
I still had the tab open with Hotel California on Youtube, and wanted to type magic trick scene but my typing came out reverse. Like pic related, it said "cigam kcirt"... which I found odd but I thought at first I just hallucinated it or something, so I erased it and switched the tab to google. I wrote magic trick there and it worked, so I went back to the Hotel California tab and typed magic trick and it became "cigam kcirt" AGAIN. So I freaked out and closed everything.
I was not under the influence of any drug, I wasn't tired and I don't have schizophrenia. So what the hell was that? A friend told me there is a keyboard combination to get this effect, but he was never able to find it.
I don't want to be silly and think it was vampires fucking with me but I couldn't recreate the effect yet. I tried some but no luck so far. If you help me recreate the effect through rational means I will delete the thread without question.

Stop taking drugs OP.

I literally said "I was not under the influence of any drug" in my post. I don't take drugs.
I am trying to do a study on people's first memories and what possible correlation they may have with their lives.
So tell me, what is the earliest thing you can remember? Does said memory have any current inportant significance to your life? Yes, I would like to keep all answers real and not made up.
My older sister dropping a hard plastic toy on my head, and making me cry.
I think she made me a sperg.
House on fire.
No.
If I'm remembering correctly
>My mom, aunt, cousin, and me are walking to my grandma's house from downtown.
>We're under this bridge that separates downtown from the residential neighborhoods.
>We were playing with those cheap plastic swords that broke after using them for a couple of hours.
>I ran up the slope under the bridge and looked at the bridge above me.
That's really all I remember.

His knees are bent a bit (and he's covering it up with the baggy jeans), so his center of gravity remains over his "hooves." Bet that's uncomfortable as fuck.
It is astounding how much this man went on to influence our music and entertainment industries.
Our politicians and celebrities use his magick systems to control the world.
He looms large in the Occult world as sort of a founding father.
How much did he really know and how powerful was he realistically?
Did he ever have a magick duel with another magician?
I'd love to hear about accounts of his magick working?

Why is it not science?
- why did the ppl not accept the idea that the earth is not a disc?
Because they just couldnt grasp it because they had no info to relate to such a idea
You understand the space today so a round earth is logical to you.
If this concept here would be understood, all the consequences like reincarnation, ghosts, mediation, miracles would make complete sense to everyone
I want to get into pagan spirituality. What type would /x/ recommend?
Also pagan discussion/rec thread

I have a small shrine in the woods, on a hill overlooking a quarry outside of town. On a large flat boulder I built a small cairn and carved some images into the stone, including the sun, the moon, and a deer as representative of a cernunnos-like diety. The cairn lies atop a carving of a tree, the tree of life. Every so often I'll go there and lay down wildflowers and perhaps a small bit of food as an offering to local pagi. I'll also burn the end of a dry reed and wave it over the alter. I'm not sure why, it just feels like the right thing to do. I don't have an exact pantheon in mind but I feel if I honor the local spirits first the rest will sort itself out.
My only problem is I've gotten pretty bad poison ivy from the area. I just need to dress more /out/ when I go.
Also I missed celebrating the solstice ;_;
I could get into Helenism if there actually was some accurate guideline to do it.
Really don't wanna piss off Ares or Zeus

Let's post some of our own. Just open up word, set the timer for 10 minutes and then start typing. Don't plan ahead. Just write the first words that come to your mind and by the time you finish them the next ones. You can correct typos afterward. Then let's each analyze our own texts.
Here's mine:
>Upon the breath of dragons came the smoldering corpses of planets which look through the glass that witches spoke through in Times forgotten by all the apes that would constantly stare at the number seven. I didn’t like the attitude of some Cambodian missionaries who would row through the seas on the back of mountains and aligned with them all where much too few different severed bodies of the apocalypse which should fall before all the chains tying the roots of the earth. I didn’t bring much alcohol to fill all the bottles that would stick out beneath the salt sea of magnitude. When I lived in the watchtower I heard the constant clanking of processors built through the divine methods of molecular epitaxy past by the robots who created the human race. In the meanwhile I was driving a car which had no lights and could not expect how many of us would see the faces of pigeons reflected in our windows. Elvis lives and before he was a dinosaur he lived amongst Satan and Hephaestus creating black holes which encountered all the immortal races of the galaxy. The lives went on and the smoldering corpses were buried beneath witches and defecated upon and I liked the sweat scent of nice voluptuous women who would enwrap me with their sweaters which would lead to hesitant suffocation. I could not look either of them in the eye because I chose not to swear in public. We would not see how many of them were infantile and how many of them had rabbits growing from their claws. They could not produce evidence of all the crimes committed against the Polish people beneath all the stars that could have forged the first computers.

>Not only was it a myth that my head was enslaved benaath the sand by Jacki Chan who could ride the ocean waves on his bike it would also be fair to suspect that none of them lied to me when they were making up all the falsehoods that produced mankind’s first origin spirits. It was not known whether or not I would like to be thought of as a person that could go on without trying and know the shapes of buildings by looking upon them. It would seem obvious to myself that I was beneath a sky that shouted all the names of the bands that made Loveless a thing and none of the noises breathing on my skin.
I guess we can cut the time to 8 minutes or 7. Since it does come out kind of long.

Are you enlightened, anon?
>>17856298
No. I namefag too often to call myself free from the turmoils of my own identity's tendency to dwell on things.
>>17856298
Yes, relatively speaking. I'm not some sort of zen monk, but for a non-denominational white person, I think I've done pretty well.

Hi /x/, please help me identify an entity I believe I witnessed. I awoke 2 nights ago to find a dirty, dingy, and unkempt woman crawling on her hands and knees on my wall. Upon making eye contact she screamed very loud at me. I don't believe it was sleep paralysis as I was able to sit up and turn on the lights, to which she went silent and vanished. My dogs had been barking all night and walking up and down the halls outside my room, and began barking loudly after this. They continued barking into the morning, when they are usually restful during night hours. Any ideas what this could have been? Thanks
Pic somewhat related, the woman looked like her except dirty, unclothed, greasy black hair (looked crudely cut), and rotting/decaying teeth.
>>17852245
you live in a house?
>>17852254
Yes. I would have believed it was a very mentally ill homeless women had she not been on the wall, screaming so loud, and vanishing.
>>17852245
>What exact time did this happen?

Deep Sea Spooks.
We have only explored about 10% of earth's oceans.
The lowest KNOWN point is 34 000 feet below the surface.
What do you think lurks down there guys?
>>17851451
>34 000ft
Whoops, correct that to 36 000.
For reference, each of these arms are about the length of a flagpole.
The ocean is terrifying to me because 1. we know what IS out there, 2. we DON'T know what else is out there, 3. vast nothingness 4. Cthulhu
But on the bright side, maybe Godzilla
Stuff like phone calls, stories, interviews, etc. There are plenty of recordings of stuff like people screaming at a bomb going off or something violent happen, but being as jaded and internet wary as I am, I'm looking for something more chilling than visceral.
