Tonight I've had a frightening dream. There was an evil version of a friend of mine who ran after me to stop me from doing a telephone call. The detail that scared me the most is the way he ran.
He ran faster than a human being, barely moving his legs, performing some sort of baby steps but at high speed, maintained his head and body perfectly still. I've never see something like that, even in bad dreams, and I can't figure out why this detail scares me so much.

First post on /x/. Kind of a depressing thing but I want to know what you guys think.
So, when I was 14, about 15, my dad had passed away due to some type of brain tumor name that I can't remember. But the weird thing about this is, like 2 nights later I was sleeping, and I had a dream that we were in his house, he was in the kitchen making coffee or cooking or something, and he was just talking to me, though the only words I remember making out are "I'm proud of you" then he put his hand on my shoulder, when I woke up, I had a very visible hand print on my shoulder where he put his hand. Any thoughts on this? I'm kind of curious.

My belief is that most people after they die, have an in between period where they visit those who they want to give a message to after death. During this time they are "granted" permission to see them in their dreams... Your dad's message was simply that, He's very proud of you.. and he couldn't move on to his next life without telling you that.

First time I've come here. I'm not much into supernatural or paranormal shit but ever since I had a spiritual awakening I've let go of my mind a lot more and taken a more intuitive and feeling approach to expression and life.
I've found that life works in very convenient and mysterious ways, sometime I almost feel as if I will think about something and it will come into fruition in some way, in the most innocent way possible.
For example I was looking at an old Gorillaz music video maybe a month ago and I thought to myself..

and what did Gorillaz do? Exactly that this past week.
this is my most recent example but it happens quite a bit to me.
I'm not saying I have control of this but I feel as if conciousness is universal and connected in some way or another.
Magick is the process of making things like that happen deliberately.
Yup. All you have to do is let go of any memories / expectations that would contradict the happening of what you desire, and then the next time you completely let that train of thought fade from your awareness, it shuffles into that configuration.
Funny, isn't it? You've got all these permaskeptics scrutinizing the universe, "proving" to themselves over and over again that you can't manipulate probability that way. Never realizing that it's that very constant scrutiny which locks their reality into the configuration where probability shifting is impossible. It's like a game of red light green light, except the universe never loses, but also will support you in whatever you tell it to. Even if that means pretending like it isn't.
What it comes down to is that your subconscious and the hyper intelligence of those who are way smarter than you, are indistinguishable. What makes a person smarter than you, is the fact that they are able to affect you, in a way that makes it appear as if it might have been your own doing all along. (And some of the time, it really is.) Taken to its logical extreme, this means that everything in the universe is at one point planned. And when contradictory plans are made? Well, either you select before your time is up, or the universe picks one at random. (I.e. someone picks for you.)
In practical terms, this means you can set up good things for yourself, so long as they don't really affect anybody else in a way they would choose to contradict. It's like a bus, where everyone has a steering wheel. And we're in a kind of a pinch, because a lot of these people down here *don't realize that they're driving.* Also, if you ever try to explain that yes, the things they think *do* manifest their realities, you get the craziest looks like you just suggested that magic was real.
People have associated the act of being a sentient conscious being with the ability to affect their reality... as magic. o___O

I get what you're saying, OP. These things happen to me very often sometimes within days of each other. It freaked me out at first but now I'm kind of going with the flow and accepted that I really am somehow connected to the entire universe.
So I need some advice like right now. So I'm on vacation in the mountains in Colorado and well something is in my cabin. Not shitting you whatever it was opened the door to my bedroom and just peered in at me. So I wanted to know if there's any guess what it might be? There's no one else staying with me and all the doors are locked tight and no windows except the one in my bedroom so no way can it be a robbery or murderer or anything. But maybe I'm just too superstitious? inb4 that's bullshit

Seems like it's gone away. I only heard some banging around in the kitchen a minute ago but it's gone quiet now. It was still fucking terrifying when whatever it was opened the door. Honestly the place is pretty run down so it may have honestly been someone breaking in, I doubt the locks would be much trouble for someone. There's been a lot of flooding in this area so some bum probably lost his home and is scrounging off the tourists. But then again I'm very superstitious/overimaginative so this honestly would have been better off on /out/ or /adv/

Can anyone give me more information about the bird creature with a human face shown in this picture? I have seen it portrayed more than once, and before I had seen anything like it, I had a dream I was visited by one. That dream sticks out more in my memory than any other Ive ever had.

So, I have this journal from an old friend who killed herself around 20 years old. I wound up "inheriting" it. She was into some pretty crazy stuff. Hermetic arts, Vegvisors, O.T.O. that sort of stuff. They were a lot more involved than your typical vegan crystal hippy folks, if you know what I mean.
