Hello /x/, my friend has gotten a ouija board and asked me if I wanted to use it with him. I've read here that these can actually be dangerous if used incorrectly or that they are just causing the ideomotor effect. What are precautions I should take if I do use it ? Or should I not use it at all as I am pretty novice with my knowledge about them and tell my friend not to use it also?

Why? I walked past the same street lamp like 50-60 times in my neighborhood over a year, and it would only kick off the very second I walked under. I waited and watched it one day, and it wouldn't do it periodically or spontaneously, but nonetheless would kick off as soon as I approached it.
I know it has to be faulty to begin with, because it only works with a handful of street lamps. But when it does, it is 100% consistent every time. I asked someone about it, and they said I'm an "energy sucker", and that this is a bad sign for me.
Is this just a weird coincidence? Is there anything to the energy sucker "theory"?

think about it thermodynamically, if you were really siphoning the energy in the street light away, where would that energy be going? into you? that "energy" is electricity. did you know we have a word for when a body sucks up electricity? it is called "electrocution." let me ask you this, do you feel electrocuted?
even if we suppose that "energy" was getting converted into another form before it reached your body, we would still see some kind of net gain in your body. do you get hot when you are near it? does your body spontaneously gain calories? no" then you probably aren't absorbing energy.

You could read this in literally any neuroscience book. Hell michio kaku has written about it multiple times and even ray Kurzweil.
MKultra was a total failure because they realized that technology to "mind control" people was incredibly far beyond them. To do this one would need to know what every neuron and neurotransmitter in the brain does then develop a way to interact with them to have a significant effect.
100billion neurons and trillions of neurotransmitters. Do you know how long the human genome project ran for? Take that as a starting point and estimate how long this process would take.

Hello /x/. I have spent 2 years on this board reading every thread from bigfoot sightings to creepy assed parts of the internet.
I thought I figured it all out.
I was wrong.
I had a theory running that everything we perceived to be creepy was just a coincidence. You might say, oh but that's what the normal non-4chaners point of view is, but the difference is, my theory said that nothing out of the ordinary or that we couldn't explain using normal science existed. Everybody believes in something "Spooky", but not my theory. For instance the columbine thread that you can always find on /x/, was just a few humans looking for patterns in a tragedy that had no meaning. Alien abductions: People trying to get attention, claiming that they have been taken into "Flying Saucers". Oh yes, and Bigfoot: So many people report seeing him and yet not one gets an actual photograph. I was finishing polishing up my theory, and I decided to test it out on a small forum on the deep web, that way if someone does manage to drag up something convincing, I have enough time to fix my theory before someone leaked it to a mainstream board. I constantly checked back to that board. It took a few weeks before a reply: It was a deep web URL. I decided to respond back with the 'I ain't clicking on that shit, nigga' image that 4chan likes so much. The guy wrote back "Just trust me on this one, It will blow your mind." I wrote down the URL and headed off to the local library. Years ago, I had stolen the username and password from one of my friends accounts, assuming that I would one day need it. I assumed right.
I installed tor on the computer and typed in the URL.
What I saw put everything into perspective.
It was a page listing every major tragedy and event that you can imagine listing the exact steps that the sick fucks that ran the site took to make sure it happened.

I was skeptic at first, but as I scrolled down I started seeing plans, official documents, even fucking pictures of the people/places before/after the events took place. I saw a picture of a person tied to a chair, and then later one of him being probed and mutilated with the title:
Antonio Villas Boas-1953 Procedure 2: Memory Implanting.
I saw pictures of the 9/11 hijackers taking flying lessons and smiling at a camera while saluting a man right next to the camera.
I saw a picture of FUCKING ERIC HARRIS AND DYLAN KLEBOLD being show how to fire a rifle by a man in a crisp military uniform with the caption :Training Session 2-1998.
But what really took the cake was when I scrolled to the bottom of the page(The entries were listed from oldest to newest) and saw an entry on the Paris attacks. The picture had what I think was 2 of the associated terrorists standing next to what looked like a pressure-cooker bomb. But what almost stopped my heart was the date of entry: October 28th, 2015. Almost 2 weeks before the attacks. There were more /x/, lots more. The ones that I can remember were The Boston Marathon Bombing, the rigging of OJ Simpsons Trial, and the assassinations of Malcom X, MLK, and JFK. It was about then that I snapped out of my trance and tried to do something about this. You may not believe me after what I'm about to tell you, but that's okay, as I will explain in the end. I tried to save the columbine picture, but as soon as I did, my computer crashed. I ran as far away from the library as I could, went 3 towns over even and tried it on one of my friends computer. The URL didn't work.

Ok this has been going on for a couple months now. I'm not sure what kind of answers im looking for here, I guess I want to talk about it since I have no other outlet, and nobody else will listen IRL.
Almost every morning around 430-500, I hear something fall down on either my wood floor in the main room, just outside my bedroom, or I hear something fall IN my bedroom. Of course when I check it out, its nothing...or at least I dont know what made the noise. This morning, 30 minutes ago, I found a spatula on the floor where it doesnt belong. Btw no animals in the house except a goldfish, and I live alone.
I can count on it every fucking morning as long as im semi awake to hear it.
Has anyone hear of a poltergiest on a timer??? Im getting more angry than spooked at this point, its really annoying.
Also, when this all started, one of the first things to happen was a painting falling down stairs, end over end. It was loud as hell and scared me so bad. I checked it out armed, as I did this morning. Im getting too old for this shit...one of these times im going to ignore it and itll be niggers breaking into my house.

OP, given that its on such a definitive timer, like you mentioned, Im thinking this is something physical and probably mechanical.
Im feeling like maybe its a thermostat or an air conditioner or the ice machine or something else, vibrating the knife rack or something else to cause the wall(s) to rattle, something like that.
Set up a camera, record between 4 am and 6 am in the area and see what you get.

Either reaction is usually the point so long as there's some reaction. From what I understand they derive sustenance and solidity by drawing the attention of someone by any means necessary, usually fear or irritation works especially if it saps the person of rest leaving them weak willed and susceptible to further influence.
Your options are to leave a camera, voice recorder and other such device running to see if you can pick up any strange activity around those times in those places so reference and evidence, get ear plugs, get a dog, get friends or family involved and/or get the hell out. Now not all cases are reportedly negative, sometimes the culprits are trying to warn you not scare you but if you've generally felt a hostile presence it's probably best to assume control of your own safety and security and not rely on any seance or other activities for interpretation that might drum up more problems. Though I think the usual recommendations on the supernatural side of things is to get some salt and sage, both common spices so you should find some at the store, and sprinkle or burn it outside your bedroom door or something. I dunno.

These co-incidences are substantial, yes, but there is also likelihood they are correlated without being causative. There's theory that the same theoretical asteroid that slammed into Earth at a theoretical point in time causing the theoretical debris from the collision to theoretically form into the moon may have also carried microorganisms or some form of genetic remnants that went on to produce life on Earth due to the amiable conditions once the moon helped regulate the tides and all that...theoretically. Furthermore if we take into consideration the gravitational sphere of influence the Sun and Earth have on each other it can be assumed something in between would be equally influenced by both and subsequently shaped by the invisible hand of gravity to fit like a puzzle piece in the empty space existing at a cross section.
