Guise, how do I get over my crippling disgust/phobia of slugs? I can only bring myself to touch one when I'm drunk.

You don't have to be gardener, it's impossible to avoid them if you step outside.
Just went to this place, Satan's Hollow in Cincinnati, Ohio. Was kinda creepy but nothing too crazy, that being said we couldn't go all the way to the scariest place because it became too flooded. Also wanted to check out the abandoned subway tunnels but the area was sketchy as fuck and and some locals started harassing us before we could get there.

This area was pretty secluded. The outskirts where the subway tunnels were however were pretty damn sketchy. Still wish I could've checked them out.

3 strange cuts just appeared on my body out of nowhere
I was looking at myself at the mirror and there was nothing, gone to get shower, didn't put shampoo, didn't turn on the water, I looked down to my chest and 3 cuts appeared as very thin lines then became larger and more red

I was on youtube looking at some theories, I began on P and NP, the Halting problem, but then stumbled upon this guy's 4th dimension theory and thought it was interesting enough so I watched all of his videos. Not sure if /x/ knows this guy but he seems to be a learned man, I wanted to shoot him an email asking how he came up with his raw diet theory because he had ill evidence backing it up, and after a few hours of research I cant find anything on this guy.

i understand tumblr makes even talking about this show feel worse than looking at /b/.
i also know the show is totally changing actual lore on our fairytales we make stories about to seem real, but the show feels like genuine entertainment so i dont get why everybody hates it so much.

Then it went to shit around the time Castiel and the Angels became a weekly subject. Making Crowley a "I love Dean" puppy also ruined it imo.
I started watching it again recently, the new series looked like it was going to be a zombie fest. Then it diverted to some "evil girl" story arch and I gave up.
Supernatural needs a zombie fest imo.

I'll answer first. I'm coming from a Chan background (studied the lineage form bodhidharma to linji extensively, especially Mazu and Huangbo)
I've had a realization a few days ago.
The word enlightenment causes more confusion that necessary.
In Chan, we talk about "seeing your nature", which is way less confusing.
You're seeing your nature right now. It is the non-duality within duality.
It is that which you see before you - reason about it and you at once fall into error.
"Seeing your nature" is literally nothing special, we're doing all the time.
Most people are just not aware that it is in fact their own nature they are perceiving.
Also, abiding in the unborn, acting in accordance with your true nature is nothing special at all.
It is actually impossible to not act in accordance with it.
This makes the word enlightenment meaningless. Enlightenment implies some kind of change happening, while that's actually not true.
"Seeing your nature" is also nothing that can be achieved by means of meditation or any other kind of practice. You're doing it all the time already, you don't need to achieve anything in addition to that. It's not a special experience.
That's why linji, huangbo and mazu shouted at people and hit them with sticks for asking about the meaning of chan or enlightenment. Their question and all answers they could get just add confusion to clarity. The questioners try to put a head on their head, while one is already too much for them to carry.

Like we need to slay the buddha when we meet him, we need to slay the concept of enlightenment. Whoever uses that word needs to get hit with a stick.

When I was younger around 16 this just showed up. I was fascinated with it for a while and now it's lost. Just found old photos of it. Anyone have any ideas what the symbol means?
It also had what I realise now was I suppose a makers mark on the back. Was sort of like a kit Kat bar In shape with something imprinted in the highest face.
