All of my studies and research concerning enlightenment have had the exact opposite effect of what it should have had and I'm fairly certain my spiritual and intellectual stability is slowly deteriorating. Everything sucks and everything is meaningless. Love is foreign and just a concept - not something I understand or experience. Sleep offers no solace and I'm haunted by visions of death both in my sleep and whilst awake. Initially I had intended to approach /fit/ since I was pretty sure this was mental health related, but after considering how heavily religious I've been my entire life (secretly and never in public because worship and religious beliefs shouldn't impede upon a persons social standing) my insincts pushed me to refer to /x/ in order to hear what a few of you wise and knowledgable lurkers who still linger here may have to say. I don't necessarily believe the teachings of Hindu, but I do think the spirits exist. In my opinion it seems as things have been distorted when it comes to religions like these.

I live in Sweden in the the forest, with my dog. I was previously a man with no beliefs or religion.
So I live in a villa that my father owned hes now dead. And the first week when I moved in i felt no danger or no ...disturbance in any way. I just sold my TV to get to afford a new gaming computer, my fiber internet was already ordered when i moved in. So its my week off work starting. And I finally got some time to enjoy nature... which i at the time didnt know much of.
So the first day i feel this urge to meet new people all of a sudden. Which is weird because im a loner and i prefer my own company. But i feel this lust for life all of a sudden. So one day I decided to go on a stroll and greet my new neighbours and give a good first impression. It went surprisingly well and even met an old class mate from way back that appearently had a cabin here, we talked and decided to go skiing one day. So this is creepy... All of a fucking sudden. THUNDER. In broad fucking daylight hitting twice! Im like what the actual fuck is up with the weather here??? Its not raining and theres a peaceful and quiet hum in my ear... and at first i thought I was making the sound myself but appearently its not??? And cant explain this but it heard like it came from another dimension or some weird shit and i had no clue where it came from...
At this point im worried that ive gone crazy. That ive suddenly lost my head and became schizo at the age of 26. The humming sounds like nothing ive ever heard i my life but it was so awesome and POWERFULL that it sounded like God himself speaking through a gigantic mountain and penetrating it with the power of his presence... impossible to describe but its very soothing and i lose track of where i am and what my purpose is
