I come to you /x/ for the first time in 6 years of imageboarding. I'm a /pol/ack from another chan.
I've been researching what seems to be the oldest known man-made structure excavated in the year 2000, called Göbekli Tepe, in modern day Turkey. Carbon dating dates the structure to around 10,000 BC. Information on the internet is sparse and vague, and the whole thing's discovery seems to have been downplayed. The thing is mysterious as fuck and the excavators give no clear answers as to what its function may have been, let alone how it was constructed in the Paleolithic era when we were supposedly hunter gatherers, requiring knowledge of masonry, physics (to move it) and an evolved religious form.
Allegedly it was a temple constructed for worship in between hunting/gathering cycles. Tribes would meet up there and sacrifice animals and worship deities. There's artistic depictions of various animals on the stone pillars, including a few depictions of decapitated heads. But I don't buy that shit.
What are its implications /x/? Aside from ancient aliens please, I seek a deeper metahistory. Pic related is a model.

can we just talk about planet 9? because imo its shifty as fuck that some planet of pure darkness orbits our solar system every 10,000+ years and we just found it now.
Planet of pure darkness? it just has no light because it is too far, technically there could be a huge amount of planets stuck in far orbit of the sun but too far away from light, earth is really really close in orbit, we seem to think it is normal but its not. There can be hundreds of more planets way out there, that would be frozen blobs of gas basically.

So tell me /x/, what do you think about the catacombs that are hundreds of feet underneath paris.. there are over 400 kilometres of tunnel, and has a maze like structure to its entirety. there are still areas unexplored down there, hundreds of kilometres of tunnel unexplored, over 6 MILLION bodys in the catacombs some areas they're stacked gracefully making beautiful somewhat unnerving designs, others it appears they've been just tossed to hurry the process. There are many cases of people going to explore the catacombs and never have been seen again, or other cases where the bodys are found years after. wouldn't it be fucking terrifying to have your light go out down there? zero light, and I mean ZERO light for hundreds of km's in a maze. Anyone have any stories about the paris catacombs ?

Sometimes I wonder what the police are doing these days. They never seem to be able to solve any crimes. I live in a city that has a lot of crime and lately it’s been getting worse. Last week, there was a murder near the factory where I work. A young woman was stabbed with an ice pick. Not just an ordinary ice pick, but one with a skull and crossbones on the handle. Everyone who lives in the area is really freaking out. It’s a big city, but this latest murder has everybody talking. It’s been pretty heavily covered in the media. My mother, who lives with me, is scared to go out at night. I keep telling her not to worry, but she knows the police are not going to solve the murder. They haven’t even found the murder weapon yet.
