>Lewis recorded two albums in 1983 and 1985 (L'Amour and Romantic Times) that were mostly forgotten until a record collector discovered 'L'Amour' in an Edmonton flea market in 2008. Lewis recorded the album at the now defunct Music Lab in Silver Lake, which was known for being the cheapest recording studio in town and appealed and was used by punk bands such as Black Flag and Cheap Trick. Lewis' choice to record here was strange, as recounted by known photographer Ed Colver who shot Lewis' album cover, because Lewis was allegedly a wealthy stockbroker and traveled in a white convertible mercedes and was always with 'a girlfriend who looked like a model'. During the time Lewis was recording he was staying at the Beverly Hilton Hotel with his girlfriend and paid for the $250 photo-shoot with a check linked to a closed account in Malibu. The check bounced and when Ed Colver went back to the hotel to confront Lewis he had disappeared. The label that re-issued Lewis' albums in 2014 hired an investigator and narrowed the search down to somewhere in Canada. After two days of aimlessly searching they allegedly find him in plain sight sipping coffee at the front of some cafe. He had no interest in his past music or the money the label had made and told them "I just wish you guys all the best in the world.” Investigators found other pseudonyms used by him registered at other recording studios around the 2000's where he allegedly recorded 'soft religious music'. An estranged nephew that led to the discovery of Lewis' whereabouts told investigators that all he could remember was that Lewis used to live in an affluent apartment with a beautiful girlfriend and that it was furnished entirely in white.
Weird right? I've heard that it's a hoax (which is hard to believe since he was discovered) but also that he wasn't human. What do you guys think?

What if time isnt constantly flowing forward in a systematic straight forward fashion. What if it stops here and there , slows and speeds up. But we cant notice this change in times speed because our brains cant percieve the fluctuation. What if in the time you read this time had stoped moving billions of years in which we percieve time but you didnt notice it? ITT:trippy logical science theorys that cant be disproven and discussion.
What if god was one of us OP? What if he was just some stranger on a bus? What if he was just trying to make his way back home?

There's already a theory where time is relative. Gravity and velocity affect the flow of time. We can't perceive the change because we're all inside the same relative time field. If we gain or lose velocity or gravity, which can be mass change or acceleration (pulling g's) our second will always be perceived as one second inside the field but outside the field our second will be longer or shorter. Theoretically if a planet fell into a black hole it would fall at two vastly different speeds. Let's say from our perspective the collision takes one hour. From the planet's perspective the fall would take an increasingly long time. Time would stretch from both the velocity increase from the "falling" effect (no terminal velocity in space) and the massive gravity increase from the acceleration and the mass of the black hole. The closer the planet got, the slower time would flow.

all you need to know is that time is a measure of the rate at which events happen. if everywhere is experiencing this same rate, then it can't be determined if time is slowing down or speeding up, simply because in reality. it isn't doing either. consider the following op. imagine i held a 1 by 1 by 1 cm cube in my hand. if each dimension of that cube changed to 2 by 2 by 2 cm, then yes it has gotten larger. but what if everything around it also increased in volume by the same factor as the cube? then there is no difference since everything is the same to one another. without some kind of outside reference point, you can't determine a change. in time, space whatever. and if you did have an outside reference point, say my other hand held a 1cm radius sphere. it be getting smaller if everything else got bigger, and so you could say this sphere got smaller or everything else in the universe just got bigger.
So, my friend posted this a while ago and I just forgot about it. He never told me what it was and why he might have done something to cause it... Though this image frightens me. Anybody have an idea on what it could actually be? I don't see any scars on his arm, so I don't know how it could've gotten their had it been a foreign object. Any ideas?

Last night i was Watching videos
It was around 3 am, i started feeling like someone was watching me , i didn't pay any attetion, i just lock my door and kept watching videos. I was still feeling like someone was watching , then i clearly heard someone breathing , i was just starring at my door , and i Saw how the door got open by itself. Earlier while walking home I caught a glimpse of this thing rooting through my trash, I looked away from it without thinking because I was looking both ways before I crossed the street. When I realized something was up and I looked back the thing was gone. When I did see it, it looked at me like 'oh shit, i've been spotted'.
What do you think it was?
I drew a picture but i'm a shit artist so here's some details:
It had a relatively human head and hands
It had short legs, and stood in a sort of half crouch
it had off-white to yellow eyes that reflected light like cat eyes
it was completely hairless as far as I could tell and had dark gray almost black skin
no noticeable mouth, but it probably just didn't see it
I didn't see it's feet
it was about 3.5 to 4 feet tall with it's eyes reaching slightly over the edge of the garbage bin
