My new neighbours are strange. I've never seen anyone come or go, but I hear their tv going so I know somone is home, then just last night I heard the strangest sound ever, it came from my neighbours house! so i looked the window and could see there was a light on.the sound sounded like a wild boar but it when on for like 10 minutes and then stopped. I thought to myself that can't be a boar, you never see wild boars near the city? So I looked over at my neighbours house to see the lights off, then nothing for the rest of the night.

I used tobhave neighbors who were weird op. When I was around 15 I used to spend waaay too much time watching them coming and going out of my bathroom window. Got a crush kind of deal on the woman, kinda gothy with tye dyed red and blue hair and her husband was weird. I would watch them through their windows as they never closed the blinds ever. Most of the time it was nothing much I'd see. I did once see the dude running around naked with a weird look on his face... and the crown jewel of it all was they had a full suit of armor inside their house I could see. I used to think they were vampires.

When I was ten, I played a late night game of flashlight tag with a bunch of neighborhood kids. If you don't know what flashlight tag is, it's the same as tag, but you play it in the dark, the person who's "it" gets a flashlight, and they have to yell the name of the person they see with it in order to "tag" them. It was really cloudy that night, and most people had their curtains drawn, so it was the perfect level of darkness for hiding in.
The side of the street my house was on was skirted by a broad length of woods. That was basically the boundary for our side of the game. You could run through any yard, even go across the street and run through their yards, but you weren't allowed to hide in the woods, because it was too difficult to find anyone in there, and it was very easy to trip over tree limbs or end up with poison oak. Of course, this rule was frequently and flagrantly ignored when people got too close to being caught. They'd duck off into the bushes for a few seconds, or run behind a group of trees to evade capture.

Rene Descartes theory of Dualism relies heavily on the idea that the Mind exists on a plane that isn't necessarily tethered to the human body; and consciousness is just a viewpoint of the interactions your body has.
This "viewer" is called the Homunculos, if anything, just call it the "You" that exists within you. The Ghost inside your meat shell. The everything that makes up you, while not being there.
What is this homunculos outside of its container? What becomes of "You" when your flesh fades away? Do you simply fade away with your flesh? Do you return to some unknown plane? Its an idea that cannot really be explained, nor should it really.
You see; The Ghost within Man lay watching, but does the Ghost come from Man, or from elsewhere? And what matter constitutes the Ghost of Man?
Now, this ties to physical homunculi or "Artificial Lifeforms". This is essentially creating non natural beings that have no Ghost within them. Like Frankenstein's monster, that is considered a Homunculos, however AI that can self sustain, robots, bacteria, and man made creations all constitute this definition If it was not made by God and has no Ghost, it's a Homuculos.
There is also the medical terminology of the humunculos, which is the amount of sensory nerves that are pathed in the human body. It's the image that I've posted, essentially you can make a non vesseled being that "lives" just by recreating this system.
The curious question that should be asked, if Ghosts come from the unknown, or if they can be made. To put it in poetic words. "Can you make a homunculos for a homuculos, or can you make a homuculos to put in a homunculos?"
Are there Ghosts without vessels that then can come into being, or can you make Ghosts, to put into vessels?
