Ive been reading a lot on Crowley , Golden Dawn, Rosicrucians , and Hinduism lately
anyone have tips on how to become a God?
>>17092451
surely the answer is on 4chan.
maybe not the neo-nazi board or the horse sex board, but the paranormal board definitely holds the keys to infinity.
don't be a dumbass looking for somethng that you already had.
You've been a god, look how it turned out.
You need wisdom, not the silly crazy-person-powers.
>>17092451
>Ive been reading a lot on Crowley , Golden Dawn, Rosicrucians , and Hinduism lately
Cool.
>anyone have tips on how to become a God?
Well GD & most Hinduism is getting you in communication with it and Thelema posits that you already are.
I dunno. Koetting promises that if you do things his way you'll be a living god. This guy looks trustworthy, right?
Where does /x/ buy their stones and why?

My minerals and various precious gemstones are sourced only from the freshly squeezed rocks of Jobay Canyon in Southern Tibet.
Has anyone else ever seen this video or any other by this author?
thoughts?

Here is another video by the same person, also of high quality, discussing sacred geometry which is related to the other video, I'm currently watching this one.

3 minutes in and he's babbling widely debunked BS about how no one can explain the building of the pyramids and how we couldn't even build them today.
Nope.
But muh ayyy lmaos/ammacookie/pyramids lining up.
I find churches extremely unsettling and uncomfortable, even scary. Especially churches in hospitals (though on one occasion I swear I saw an old man moving around inside one late at night even though I was the only person in the ward and also checked out the room immediately).
Is there a reason I'm so unsettled by churches? Does anyone else get this way?
My old church had a really eerie atmosphere too it, especially when everyone was together afterwards
Turns out 2 of the high members in the church raped a bunch of kids and the rest of the people covered it up

>Especially churches in hospitals
For a lot of people that's the last church they'll ever attend.

Catholic churches in the US are often old, dark, and have a somber atmosphere. Candles create shadows and everything is hushed and solemn. Can be creepy if you weren't raised, as i was, in going to them
Go visit a midwestern megachurch with its bright cheerful ferns, cofffeshop, cafeteria and giftshop. Only there, it's the parishioners you'll find unsettling.
Since the 1970's, astronauts have been reporting paranormal experiences while in space. One experience led astronaut Edgar Mitchell to create the Institute of Noetic Research (IONS), a "paranormal" investigation institute. After a few years, and many studies, the conclusion was that "there is significant evidence" to suggest that some paranormal experiences are real, and not imaginary.
The cases that got Mitchell so excited were 1) an American astronaut claiming he could see people on Earth from on board the ship, and 2) the Russian cosmonaut phenomena regarding various cosmonauts seeing "dead relatives" on board their ships (probably the basis for the movie "Solaris")

Are you retarded? The basis for the movie Solaris is the book Solaris

It's going to be a 4D movie. These Japanese people really know how to do horror.
Alright what are your guys thoughts on these. They've been happening the last few days. The one with the gravestone is probably unrelated but the others are from the same person who says something is happening soon. Says these people are the key

The Moon landings were a hoax - probably not true.
The Nazi's invented a "bell" that when filled with some red fluid caused life around the Bell great harm - plants died and blood would crystallize - no idea if this was true.
Several Nazi scientists escaped Germany and worked for other countries like the US - true, Operation Paper Clip

Greetings, and welcome to The /x/ Files, the weekly news digest for 4chan's Paranormal board. Every Sunday, we take a quick snapshot of the mysterious world around us and bring it, in an easily readable magazine format, to the board. I am The Editor, the anonymous creator of this idea and collector of the news that will be following below. In the interests of legitimacy, I will be using a secure tripcode to post the thread; once the posts are completed, I will take the tripcode off and return to my anonymity.
This week, we explore the depths of the ocean, the tombs of the dead, and the ruins of an ancient civilization only now beginning to reveal its secrets. Oh, and Art Bell retires again. All this, the Radio Show Roundup, and a whole passel of Podcasts, in Issue Five of The /x/ Files!

Art Bell retires...again
After alleged attacks by a stalker, former host of Coast to Coast AM and current host of Midnight in the Desert, Art Bell, has chosen to retire from broadcasting. In a quote from his website, Art says, "I will not put my Family through this. As you all know I dearly love what I do but not at the expense of never ending Terrorism. I want to thank those of you who have shown so much support and it has been my joy, short as it has been to have cracked that Mic open for a last time. This was a Family decision." Detractors have met this announcement with a healthy dose of skepticism, as this is at least the fourth time Bell has "Retired" from broadcasting, having cited such varied reasons as poor broadcasting quality, to alleged attacks on members of his family, to character assassination.

Stonehenge may have originally been erected in Wales
Evidence of quarrying for Stonehenge’s stones is among the discoveries leading archaeologists to theorise that England’s greatest prehistoric monument may have first been erected in Wales. It has long been known that the bluestones that form Stonehenge’s inner horseshoe came from Pembrokeshire, around 140 miles from where they currently stand. Now archaeologists have discovered a series of recesses in the rocky outcrops to the north of those hills, that match Stonehenge’s bluestones in size and shape. Carbonised hazelnut shells and charcoal from the quarry workers’ campfires have been radiocarbon-dated to reveal when the stones would have been extracted. Mike Parker Pearson, director of the project and professor of British prehistory at University College London, said the finds were “amazing”.

Loch Ness Monster sightings hit 13-year high
Sightings of Nessie are at their highest level for more than a decade – according to the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register. Gary Campbell, keeper of the register, said it was a “vintage” year for Nessie reports. The register has now accepted five sightings for 2015, the most in 13 years. Mr Campbell stressed that the majority of claimed sightings did not get included on the register as most could be explained. According to Google, there are about 200,000 searches each month for the Loch Ness Monster, and about 120,000 for information and accommodation close to Loch Ness.

Hidden portrait found beneath the visible Mona Lisa
A hidden portrait lying beneath Leonardo da Vinci's most famous painting may depict the real "Mona Lisa," at least if one man's theory is correct. Reflected light waves from the painting have revealed four different phases, or images, beneath the surface of "La Gioconda." The third of these images is a woman who looks very different from the one now known as "Mona Lisa." This, in fact, may be the real Lisa, the woman that da Vinci was commissioned to paint in 1503, said Pascal Cotte, the founder of Lumiere Technologies, who announced his findings on Tuesday at a news conference in Shanghai. But not everyone is convinced of Cotte's interpretation. The findings have not been submitted to a peer-reviewed journal, the standard process for vetting scientific results. And it's taking a big leap to say that beneath the "Mona Lisa's" additional layers of paint is a complete image of a different person, experts said.

Ancient shipwreck filled with Roman Ketchup
Dating back to the second century A.D., the doomed ship was found 650ft down off the coast of Liguria in northwest Italy. It sunk while transporting large quantities of a popular fish-based seasoning known as garum - a precursor to modern condiments such as tomato ketchup. The delicacy was manufactured in vast quantities in Western Europe and then transported by ship to destinations across the Roman Empire. It was created by fermenting fish in saltwater and was added to just about every meal - often in place of salt which was a lot more expensive. “It has not been possible yet to recover a jar with residues that can be analyzed. However, the one we brought to light, which is identical to all the others, is of a shape that was used exclusively for garum,” Said Vincenzo Tiné, Superintendent of Archaeology of Liguria.

Massive spiral structure discovered at Angkor Wat
Eight buried towers and the remains of a massive spiral structure created from sand have been discovered at Angkor Wat in Cambodia. The massive structure — almost a mile long — contains a spiral design, with several rectangular spirals that form a giant structure, archaeologists say. "This structure, which has dimensions of more than 1500m by 600m is the most striking discovery associated with Angkor Wat to date. Its function remains unknown and, as yet, it has no known equivalent in the Angkorian world," Roland Fletcher, a University of Sydney professor, said in a statement put out by the university.

Hey Paranormies guess what!? We're making another /x/ game for another Ludum Dare right NOW and you can enter your sketches from sketchtoy.com into the game! More details here and you can see how I made this sketch in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oacwu61I-ew
Just make your sketch at sketchtoy.com and sign it "for /x/ LD", save the image and/or paste the link here and it could end up in the game!
The theme for this the 34th Ludum Dare is "growing" and "two button controls" so we're going to GROW A TULPA by picking up your sketches in a dreamworld, once we grow the tulpa large enough we can control it to beat the game as inspired by an /x/ anon suggestion for the /x/ 2D game.
More info to come ITT as development continues, I'm going to sketch out some of the plot right now to show you what I have in mind. Only 48 hours to go, Long Live /x/!
>you sure you can do this MothDan?
Watch the video above! I've already done it before, I made an /x/ game about a Skinwalker/Banshee hybrid based on /x/ concept idea submissions for Ludum Dare #33 and it scored in the top 20% out of 2,700 entries!
Here's the playlist from development of that game:

What would happen if you saw something in real life that shouldn't exist? I want you to think about this for a second. How would you honestly react?
People seem to think that they would be elated to catch the sight of a majestic griffin soaring through the skies, that if their favorite mythical beasts or aliens were real, or if the powers that they witness in any TV show or comic could happen in real life, they'd be stupified with awe.
I honestly find this to be a horrifying thought. I believed once that I saw something that should not have been real; my hallucination was pretty generic. I thought I saw a demon in the fog while I was driving home. Ignoring the fact that a demon in and of itself already has terrifying qualities meant to rouse a gut-wrenching response, simply the idea that something completely fiction that defied all logic could possibly be real made the entire experience abject.
So, I want you to think for a minute and try to understand what kind of feeling you would have if even the most simple, harmless and adorable fictional creature were to appear before your eyes, try to deny that you wouldn't feel such complete panic that you wouldn't vomit right on the spot.
>>17073134
I once had an experience. I was offered the "truth". Can't remember exactly what happened. All I remember was the terror of my reality not being real. That's all I remember. My fear, and I'm ashamed because I believe it may have been God. Not drug induced or while I was sleeping. But I can't remember what happened after it either. Just a sense that I missed an opportunity. And the fear
>>17073204
Adding to above.
Sort of how you mentioned. I do remember another thing. Just thinking "this isn't right, this can't be real" then the fear. I am honestly ashamed I didn't have the courage to face it
It's happened to me a couple times. What I did each time was stop and look at it and try to figure out wtf it was, then I examine it if I can't figure it out just through observation.
One time was a mop head that seemed to be floating in mid air, turned out that it was stuck inside a garbage can but the angle I saw it at was just right so I couldn't see any part of the handle, just the head floating 4 feet off the floor.
Another time I was looking around a room on a black-as-fuck night with NVGs. I looked past a window and I saw a figure outside looking in. Except that window was 50 feet from the ground and there was no way someone could be just standing out there on the other side of it. After a second of looking at it I realized it was my own reflection.
So that's how I deal with that sort of shit.
Hello. There is currently no active thread so I decided to make this one. Let the first topic be succubi. What questions would you like to ask them? I am out of ideas so anything would be appreciated ^_^

Idk about everyone else, but I've always thought of demons as indoor entities, in your house and creeping up behind you. But the reason im in /x/ because of a recent experience I've had in the woods, and I want to know what I'm dealing with. It was about 5 am and I'm out in my hunting blind scouting, its a foggy morning, without what was about to happen it was spoopy enough. Then through the fog a couple hundred feet away I see what I think looks like a person moving through the fog, and I hate to sound cliche (but I'm telling it like it is), but it turned around and had piercing, glowing red eyes. I just about shit my pants, but I figured it was a reflection from the eyes of an animal or something. Time passes, and I'm dosing off at about 6 am now, and suddenly I hear a child's laughter, followed by what sounded like screams of a small animal, and I got the hell out of there as fast as I could. What am I dealing with /x/, a small humanoid child demon???? Help me????

Do mommy and daddy know you're on the internet by yourself?
>>17088735
Stop eating sugar and stuff that makes you sleep less or not as well. I'm an occultist. You need lots of rest. There is something wrong with your brain or head. How is your relationship with your parents? What about bullying? Have you been hit on the head pretty hard recently? Those are legitimate sleep deprivation symptoms. Just way worse for you for some reason.
>>17088735
And that's totally not a demon. That hallucination is probably "Cherubim". Not a Christian, either.
