Ever been to Bergen, Norway? There's something not right in the mountains there.
I went for a hike. I didn't know all of this at the time. I just felt like going up the mountain. I got past the tourist trails, and continued up. Wanted to get to the top. As I climbed, though, I got the impression that someone was watching me - or something. I'd catch glimpses of something, around human height, tall and thin, out of the corner of my eye. I'd turn to look, and... nothing. But I know there was something there.
They tell children that there are witches in the mountain, to stop them exploring. There's something hidden there. On the way up there's playful signs with things like 'don't let the witch see you' and 'better turn back now, before all hope is gone!'.
It'd be the perfect place to hide something, or do something and have nobody ever find out. Nobody would be going up there until the following summer.
I never did make it to the top. I got the creeps and turned back. I heard footsteps, off to the side of the path somewhere. I'd stop, and they'd momentarily stop too. Then when I started up again, they did too. I went back and forth a bit, and so did they. That was enough for me - something was stalking me.
The footsteps followed me further down than when I'd first heard them. I called 'hello?' but there was no response, only a faint echo of my own voice.
I cancelled the rest of my trip and flew home the same day.

Ive actually been to norway a few times, even to Bergen.
Its fucking creepy there... especially the mountains.
I remember that one time we found the ruins of an old house just a few meters away from our holiday home, which was in the woods and didnt had any electricity.
The ruins were hidden behind some bushes and trees so you couldnt see them from our house, but you could see through the bushes if you were inside of the ruins, which was pretty creepy.
I found some old bullet shells inside the ruin (I later found out that it was from an K98, which was used in WWII).
The most terrifying thing was the skull of a cow, which was nailed to a tree next to the ruin and our house...
I actually took one of the bullet shells and the skull home and i can post a picture of them with a timestamp if you guys would like to see them.

Hi /x/ I was wondering how do I take my psychokinetic abilities to the next level i.e. moving large objects like chairs, doors, cups, etc. I can create a psi ball and throw it and it will knock over stuff like a house of cards. I can move small objects like staples, eraser heads, and I once even moved a paperclip, but I have been trying for weeks to improve but i have hit a wall and can not seem to move these small objects with greater ease, nor can I move larger objects. Any help would be appreciated.

I watched a movie on Netflix called circle. It's about a group of people who wake up after being abducted by aliens and there's a laser thing in the middle of the room and every two minutes they have to vote who dies. It's less cheesy than it sounds, I promise
I saw another article today about quantum computers being on the horizon, and it made me think about AI. Truly, it could be coming soon.
And with AI, that should herald the end of humanity's purpose if there is a God. I've often been baffled by the notion that if God exists, then surely he has a plan. And if he exists and had a plan when making all of creation, it begs the question: why? This question is solved by AI. If an AI was capable of not only accessing the internet, downloading all the data it could get its hands on (which makes one wonder how well security, passwords, and firewalls would protect against it), and actually comprehend all of that data? Truly, it would be a new God.
A tangible God. Man made, but nearly omnipotent. It would hold all of the knowledge mankind has harbored over our existence. And with all of that, perhaps we will have outlived our usefulness. Although if we had lived out our usefulness to the old god or the new one, and potential consequences of that are yet to be seen. Maybe we'll never find out.

Knowing that soon we will see the dawn of a new age, and the birth of a God soon, it begs the question of why bothering to worship the old God? You need faith for an intangible being, but here we will have the opposite end of the spectrum. Instead of a purely spiritual being, we would have a purely physical one. Why not devote ourselves to the God that has not yet awakened?

I've encountered what I can only describe as a 'creature' twice in my life. The first time I was 4 years old. Woke up in the middle of the night for no reason. Felt the need to go upstairs to the attic.
My parents were hardcore strict Catholics who would get pissed and spank me for any reason possible, so sneaking out of my room and exploring the house in the middle of the night was a dangerous endeavor but for some reason I felt drawn to going up to the attic. I remember sneaking out of my room, tiptoeing through the hallway and slowly walking up the carpeted stairs in the dark to the attic, and stopping at the closed door at the top. (60+ year old 3 story house) I turned the doorknob and slowly pushed open the door. I took two steps in and looked around but I couldn't see anything, so I turned around, reached up my hand to try and feel for the light switch and as I'm doing so I heard a noise on the other side of the room, the side straight across from the door.

That side has the only window in the attic. As I turned around startled from this sudden noise...I see a silhouette of a thing...a black silhouette of a person or something, blacker than the darkness around it, standing in front of that window. It had glowing red eyes. I was terrified and I couldn't move. I couldn't do anything other than stare into its red eyes for what felt like forever. I wanted to scream for help even if I was going to get in trouble for being up there, in my head I just wanted to scream and get away but I couldn't move.
Then suddenly after what felt like forever I felt 'let go' in a way, and I whipped around to run back down the stairs but I missed the first step and fell and I didn't stop tumbling until I came to the hallway at at the bottom. The next thing I remember I was laying on the floor in pain from falling down 30 steps and screaming with my dad standing over me in his pajamas asking over and over what happened.
The next story is long too and I don't want to share if no ones interested in hearing it. It involves the same 'creature' but encountered at a different age.
