The school stays open until around 6:30 when the building automatically begins to turn off the lights. This is by no means scary as I'm sure plenty of us have worked in places with similar electrical mechanics.

So, as I was saying. I began to investigate and it came as no surprise that there was nothing to be found in the kitchen. The trip wasn't a total waste of time either because I remembered there was a small black flashlight in the utility drawer. Armed with this I left the kitchen.
