People who are aware of their chakras, deep spiritual paths, and the things going on in this world don't get too affected when people compulsively spout roleplayer or schitzo at them. I know others try to make fun of them or are low level stooges trying to heard the crowd because that is what they are told to do, but those mockers and grunts don't understand the POV shift or journey ventured. The shifted consciousness, and the rabbit hole truths. It is like the day you learn your parents aren't who they say or when you understand algebra for the first time: a revelation. While it is annoying due to its compulsiveness they just don't *know*, and it is not only the fact you had your own personal journey but other, random people have shared countless things they couldn't possibly know that match up with your own, too. You then realize you aren't alone, and then you have this whole group of dissenters, people like you used to be who may or may not be interested, just sloshing around in the dark along side a very compelling group of cattle herders trying to maintain a normality that is the real manufactured story. It is almost comical if it wasn't so sad, and absurd. The real world is harsh, esoteric, and wonderful while their safety is a lie, enslaving, and petty. Even among ourselves it isn't all rainbows, but there are forces on this side clashing with each other (which is also sad). Everything changes nothing, and we all have out paths to walk.

I can either glean an abstract view here as a self admission or dismiss it as a honeypot. I will reply as it is the former.
Everything is eternal at the fundamental level. If you are trying to forget I take it you are an inverted one speaking through, and your own spiritual body is then hell which I can understand trying to forget as a fellow "spectrumite" and creation. I also assumed others are trying to stomp out potentials somewhere in some fashion, as to what almost happened to me,- it is the nature of conflict after all. I never expect anything but the worst, because that is almost what is solely given.
Have you ever seen one of these in person? Did it spook you?
Why do they seem so eerie and foreboding? They are a safety measure yet I can't think of a single thing that makes me feel less safe.

I have seen one real one, for a tornado warning. It wasn't too creepy because it wasn't a surprise. We all knew extremely bad weather was around, and we all knew tornadoes were likely. It is a bit creepy, but not more than knowing a tornado is on the ground somewhere near you.

I've been getting into the Witcher 3 lately and was wondering more about the folklore that inspired it. Please contribute any /x/ happenings, dark folklore, or anything generally strange about East Europe, particularly Poland. I'll start with one of my favorites:
Marzanna (in Polish), Morė (in Lithuanian), Morana (in Czech, Slovene, Serbian, and Croatian), or Morena (in Slovak and Russian) or also Mara, Maržena,Moréna, Mora or Marmora is a Baltic and Slavic goddess associated with seasonal rites based on the idea of death and rebirth of nature. She is often described as a demon and is associated with death, winter and nightmares. In Slavic rites the death of Marzanna towards the end of winter is juxtaposed against the birth of Jarilo – a Slavic god representing the coming of spring.
In modern times the rituals associated with Marzanna have lost their sacred character and are a pastime – an occasion to have fun and celebrate the beginning of spring. The tradition is usually celebrated around the spring equinox (March 21). Usually schoolchildren and young people participate in the celebrations alongside local folklore groups and other residents. A procession consisting of men, women and children carries handmade Marzanna (and often also Marzaniok dolls, the male counterpart to Marzanna) to the nearest river, lake or pond. The participants sing traditional songs and throw effigies of Marzanna into the water. Sometimes the effigies are first set on fire, or their clothes are torn. On the journey back to the village the focus falls on the copses, adorned with ribbons and blown egg shells. The procession, still singing, returns to the village. In some locations (e.g. in Brynica – a district of Miasteczko Śląskie), the beginning of spring is then celebrated with a feast.

Polishfag here tfw I still remember throwing marzanna into our river Stobnica when o was 7. As far as dark rituals/folklore in my parts its all been tainted by Christianity and every demon turned into a satan. Only think I can think of was this lonely crazy lady who used to cast curses at ppl who chcieć with her and made herbal extracts and village meds. My mother rubbed my chest and back with badger fat from this lady when I had flu. Obviously a witch since she didn't go to church every Sunday. Everything else was mediocre ghost / devil stories.

How do you tell if you're possessed?
I keep having nightmares where I hear spooky whispers and feel like I'm helpless and abandoned by God. Can't remember the last time I slept properly. And if I see anything involving Satan (like a scene from a horror movie about demons) I cry like a little baby and can't fall asleep at night and become nocturnal so I can sleep at day when I'm safe.
I stopped going to church 2 years ago because the forgiveness and turning the other cheek stuff made me feel like a self hating rug for people to walk all over.

I think the mods here are lizards as well as many of the posters as they seem to have a hivemind against certain topics and always keep the demon summoning threads alive, meanwhile telling people who believe in spirituality while still having Faith to "take their meds"
I have been experiencing some strange happenings in my bedroom and I'm kind of a skeptic when it comes to these paranormal things. But most recently objects have been placed in my room, that are definitely not mine! Mostly jewellery and most recently which I found quite disturbing somebody's tooth. If anyone has had a similar experience or an explanation for this, feel free to comment.

Certain animals like to collect shiny objects to decorate their nests/lairs with or just plain hoard. Birds like crows and ravens, for example, but as I doubt you have any birds coming into your house unnoticed, I would say mice or rats. That's probably the best bet. Call an exterminator or lay some traps yourself.
