I had the same with cats. I am a avid cat lover and always had cats since I was born. Sometimes I see blurry shadowy versions of cats looking at me. I suppose the logical explanation is just my brain pulling pranks on me, on the other hand thinking that my cats are still with me is a comforting thought.
