I believe so. The people who think they are completely good are usually in denial about any negative things and it causes them to rise to the surface in unexpected ways. Only by facing it can you really keep it in check.

Spirits exist outside of the mind, but are powered by the mind. An entity may exist in your home, for instance, but if you pay it no mind its power will be weakened and diminished. Give it attention and you will give it more power, as reality is but a construction of your attention and will.

You can even see the previous stage falling to earth as it splits from rocket. Whatever they use in the fuel probably ionizes the atmosphere.
