2014, My husband was offered a job in a new state, a we bought a new house in that state in the summer. It's a two story house, except it has an underground basement/shelter in the event of a tornado. (We live in a state where this is actually a possibility) All I know is that it is at least 110 years old.
We have two children, a 3 year old girl and 6 year old boy. Our boy has recently been diagnosed with autism. It is not severe, but it's been the biggest struggle of my life. My husband has been wonderful though throughout it all and he is a great human being. We are both agnostic. I have never belonged to a religion nor have I ever believed in ghosts or the supernatural. I feel bad about it now but I have actually before in the past openly mocked people who believe in the supernatural. I never thought I'd admit this but now I believe in the supernatural. Please hear me out on this.
Something very odd has been happening in my house and as of right now I have been unable to find believable explanations for many things.
But let me start from the beginning I guess.
When we moved in, it was obvious the house was very old and needed work done on it. Since moving in we have fixed it up a lot. It barely resembles how it looked like when we first moved in. From the summer of 2014 until January of this year, I witnessed nothing out of the ordinary. Neither did my husband. However, there is one thing that may or may not be noteworthy. and that is the dreams. Since moving in both me and my husband have experienced horrifying dreams around the beginning of each month. (The first 6/7 days) I myself am not used to nightmares, normally I rarely dream and when I do I can't remember it or it is just a stupid dream about nothing in particular. My husband however claims he has always had bad nightmares and doesn't really think it is that weird. He also takes sleeping pills often. I do not.
By the encouragement of my therapist, I have catalogued these dreams, both mine and the ones my husband tells me about, for about five months now. In that time, Here are the dreams we have had:
The most common repeating dream for me: waking up in the middle of the night to our tv being on in our bedroom, with a newscast warning of a tornado coming very soon. My husband and I hear a storm outside. Obviously in this dream both me and my husband know that we must jump out of bed, gather our children and supplies, and run to the basement. However, when we are running to our children's room, where we THINK their rooms are, we do not find them. After looking, we find my boy in a bathtub upstairs, our girl in a closet. Our boy screams how he just woke up in the bathtub. We grab our kids and run to the kitchen for supplies. Our kitchen is completely empty. There is nothing in the kitchen. We run to the basement. When we run to the basement there is a dead body in it. The dead body is my husband.
At this point I look at my husband Jim (the one standing next to me, not dead) and he says "Michelle I am really sorry. I have never been real. I do not exist. Goodbye." Then I wake up.
My husband's most common dream: Waking up in the middle of night, rolling over and seeing me dead with a knife through my chest and I am screaming. After seeing this he immediately gets called into work. For whatever reason my husband throws my body into our bathtub and tells me he will be right back. He then goes to work. Only to find that the building where he works is no longer there. It is at this point that in the dream he completely forgets who he is or where he is, how to get home. He then wakes up.
Other dreams we have had: -Our children dying in horrific ways. -One of us finding out that the other has never actually existed. (We have both had these dreams) - Phone calls from dead relatives asking us over and over why did we move into the house, when are we moving out (both of us have this dream)
- Waking up covered head to toe in blood (my dream) - having another baby named James, our autistic boy kills James (both of us have had this) -Waking up to someone with an ax cutting an arm off (my husband's dream) - I'm in the kitchen cleaning and preparing for a visit from my husband's family, when I suddenly realize that I am in our old house, the old kitchen. I freak out. I have no idea how I got there. I call my husband and he picks up. Asks me where have I been, the police have been looking for me for two years. I tell him that somehow I am in our old house. He says that's impossible, the house burned down years ago. I wake up.
Anyways, there are many others, but those are the most common. These dreams happen in the first 6-7 days of each month.
Now to what I have actually seen and experienced in REAL life.
Since January of this year:
Several unexplained phone calls from an unknown number. I'd say this has happened about 15-20 times since January of this year. Phone rings at 4 pm, you pick up the phone and it is a lady on the other end screaming for help, saying the tornado is coming and she needs help, her baby is hurt, where do we live. After the first time receiving this phone call, we called the police, who haven't been much help. They have been unable to tell us anything except that the calls are sometimes coming from New York and sometimes from California. That makes no sense to me. I don't know anyone in Cal. I have never been to NY. Neither has my husband.
Our tv, our ceiling lights, our fans, our washing machine/dryer, the night light in my baby girls room, they all turn on and off completely on their own. My husband notices this, says it is creepy but probably because the house is so old. He becomes annoyed with me whenever I bring it up.
Many things have disappeared. Towels, forks, spoons, toys, three of my purses, bathroom items such as face wash, shampoo, soap. Old coins from my husband's coin collection, pictures and their frames, sometimes frames are left behind. Socks, pens, pencils. An entire chair. My husband says we just need to look harder, we will find them. Probably the children took them. I've searched everywhere...
-Both my husband and I, and several people who have been in our house for long periods, lose track of time A LOT while in the house. the scariest moments :

Let us speak now of this material matrix we find ourselves in and the demiurgic architect who created.
Or, in other words, what is this world and who created it?
Some questions to start:
Is it true that the microcosm mirrors the macrocosm? So we exist in universes within universes? Bit if the demiurge is flawed and we are made in his image are we not flawed to? So perhaps the macrocosm with its meaningless stars and black holes is naught but a cruel mirror? Electromagnetic radiation is weird. Do humans perceive the invisible forms of light? Perhaps stars encode secret information in the hidden light. Collective conscious? Animus mundi? I've always been in favor of the idea that we are the corpse of a God who killed himself. Matter is so weird. Materialism is depressing. But if we find prove of the holographic universe will that prove gnosticism wrong?
animus mundi are my favorite animus
It seems as though the Human Machine was made to transform energy into questioning.
Fed by what they call answers they are free to transform energy into questions to generate more answers.
This is a perpetual motion. A system whichs action it is to produce questions and answers.
In this lies its wholesome activity, and if it is not altered by itself from within it will never cease to be what it is.
A machine which goes in circles.

If macro/micro is the same pattern, then within our realm the only meaningless thing is society's materialism and the illusion of personal gain.
Life expands into the darkness and follows the same pattern as the tree, the circulatory system, neurons in the brain.
But there is existence outside of what we exist with and part of, whether of not one's beliefs address this.
Another question could be if our realm follows the same patterns, does it then share anything in common with the realms on either side?
Is the demiurge expressed only in geometry? Is phenomena such as Pi a byproduct of enabling change of states which we conceptualise as over "time"?
Even in the minds of people, together we can see different realities layered over one another. Individuals can change their entire reality with subtle changes of mind.
Is this a clue to the purpose of human division, and what it is obfuscating from people as a tribe?
Hello /x/,
This is actually my first time posting on this board, I'm not generally into the supernatural. My policy is to not fuck with things I don't understand, and that pretty much extends to anything that doesn't seem to obey the laws of physics.
Unfortunately, memories recently came to me as often happens to people, and these seem to not want to leave me alone. I told this story to my wife, who doesn't really believe me. Probably because I make a habit of being a bit skeptic. I don't presume to know anything about what happened to me, but maybe you guys will. Or maybe you won't believe me. Either way, maybe I can stop thinking about just by telling the story.
So, without further ado, this is the story of my first and only experience with the paranormal.
Also, just because I used an AYAOTD image doesn't mean I'm making this up. I don't presume to understand the events that happened fully, all I can do is recount them to you to the best of my ability. All I have are the facts and what I was told, I'm assuming you good people can decide for yourselves the rest.
Now, the story begins, as they often do, in the middle of nowhere. I was at a vocational school in a city in Texas no one has ever heard of. The kind of school where you go when you're either too lazy or dumb for college. Personally, I was too scared of college. Too many friends went to college only to drop out or graduate with a nothing degree and be with no employment opportunities dealing with thousands of dollars of student debt. So I found myself at this vocational school in the middle of nowhere, excited with the prospect of gaining a trade skill and guaranteed employment for the simple cost of my soul (No, not really. I just had to sign an employment contract for a few years).
One night, because everything spooky apparently has to happen at night, I had a nightmare. Now, this fact was particularly jarring, because I do not dream, normally. I usually don't remember them, but even the ones that I do are nonsensical. I tried keeping a dream journal once, and all I managed to write down in my post-sleep groggy state was “Underwater soda commercial.” All I remember was green and yellow light, bubbles, and some metal pipes. Like the world's best or worst mellow yellow ad.
>>16953207
Now, as a quick aside about my dreams, even my bad dreams are usually met with some nonsensical whimsy in the background. My worst nightmare as a kid involved my scrotum being infested with ticks, but I seemed to only treat this as a minor nuisance, and I'd have to stop from time to time to squeeze my sack like a stress ball and pop the ticks off. Nobody batted an eye at this, and even my reaction when I squeezed too hard and my nuts exploded like a balloon filled with blood, I laughed and said at least I don't have to worry about the ticks anymore. Even as a kid, I brushed off this dream with, “Well, that was weird. Huh.” My dreams, while some of them could be horrific in retrospect, never scared me. They were just that, dreams. Crazy nonsensicalities born of indigestion or whatever.
This particular nightmare, on this particular night, was not like the others.

I started off between two doorways on either side of a water fountain. Bathroom doors, one was the girls, the other was the boys. There weren't doors, just the little corridor that blocks line of sight into the actual bathrooms. I walked into the boys bathroom, since that was the one that applied. The entire room was white tile lit yellow by fluorescence, and immaculately clean. There was no noise except for my footsteps. There were no stalls, either, just a row of about eight urinals without dividers down the left wall. Down the right wall, was four sinks, and four mirrors. I remember this dream more lucidly than any other dream. It was one of those dreams where you could not tell if you were awake or not. Its why I remember so many details. I walked down the center of the room, seeing myself pass in the mirrors. Until I got to the last one. In the last mirror, I turned and looked into it. As I looked, I saw myself rot and wither with an agonizing look on my face. I keep staring into the mirror, unable to move or look away. Once I am little more than grey skin over a skeleton, the image distorts until I am looking into a grey face. Not gaunt, not skeletal, but a face that wasn't anywhere near human. If I had to describe it's features, I'd imagine the red demon from Insidious only grey and black instead of red, with cracked teeth and black eyes. It was the most terrifying thing I'd ever seen in my life.
I woke up in a cold sweat, screaming.
Tell me how to mind merge myself into my 18 year old body from 2005?

How does one self-actualize, /x/? Is it a thing actually achieavable, or just another, finer mesh to catch those who slip through the grips of either materialistic nihilism or exoteric religion?
Who was on to something? Gurdjieff? Osho? Crowley? Gnostics? Buddha?
Or maybe the Calvinists are right. Either you receive Grace, or you don't, and there's nothing you can do about it yourself.

It's fantasy my friend, but nice try regardless.
Let's play a game. We make a spooky religion.
I start with one thing, and each poster adds one item to it.
Let's begin.
"This religion believes aliens created humans, they also believe..."
God happened before the aliens, and before that

The meme was from whence all things started. Evolution, Energy, even the laws of Physics. Not much is known about the meme

Never forget you chose to incarnate here now, during these confusing and pivotal times. Try to remember the reason why.
The soul can only be changed during incarnation, which brings as much risk to every life we live as it does potential for growth. Even masters who return are putting their souls and all their past work on the line. Their efforts to save drowning men can find them drowning with them. Or the more wrathful may find themselves burned by their own rage. For this reason many souls are fearful of ever coming here, but we are not those souls. We knew the risks and came anyway because the work was that important to us.
So ask yourself, what is your work here? Are you changing your soul into something you like? Are you changing the world into something you like?
Or did you forget?

>Never forget you chose to incarnate here now, during these confusing and pivotal times.
You don't choose to incarnate. Thats a new age bullshit idea
Was it so I can kill myself and goto hell? Because that would explain my urges for wanting to kill myself a lot..
I mean its either that or your theory is full of shit OP.
Would I intentionally choose this? Is past me a retard?
What is up with these ads on pol. I don't go on there much but I remember a while ago people were making threads on x related to an advertisement on pol that said /path of light/ or something and iirc it linked to a wiki page of something about antartica/ one of the poles.
