Anyway, I'm on a search for information about fairies, ever since I was little I've been obsessed with them, not publicly, because at my age I would sound silly if I told people I believe in fairies, but I do, I used to talk with them for hours when I as young in the orchard I lived in, I have had dreams all my life of flying like a fairy and I have convinced myself that I must have some sort of relationship to them, if I could've been so young and beleived so hard to this day, maybe I was a fairy once, but anyway, I'm trying to see if anyone has any information, sighting experience, anything..I want to find them. I've been reading this book by suza scalora and my heart beats fast reading her evidence, I just hope it's not a hoax

When i was a child i had also has "encounters" with faries, i still to this day cannot remember whether it was all in my head or i was actually playing and talking to real faries. We used to play at the end of my garden and they were very white. Thats all i can recall. Interesting thread though

I have a question, if we were dead for billions of years, then all of a sudden we came into existance, doesnt that mean that when we die, after a certain amount of time we'll be brought back?
Even if it takes a long fucking time, the infnite universe has infinite time to get us back, even if it might take a 10^{10^{100}}. (gogolplex) amount of years.
Keep in mind with todays computer it would take a computer 10^(85) years to write out all the zeros in a gogolplex, it would be a fuckton of time. But since
we can't percieve time when we are dead it'll be instant, would it not?

Do a lot of people here believe in the paranormal? Sometimes it feels like you guys are playing around, and I just don't get the joke.
I'm usually here for the Creepypasta. I'm not saying I believe or disbelieve in anything. I'm just wondering if you do.
I like creepy stories, folklore and mythology but I don't believe in it as fact. You can't really discuss that objectively here anymore though because of all the True Believers, and all the decent writefags disappeared years ago. UFO lore and conspiracy nuttery intrigues me as modern mythology, but I stopped actually believing in alium visitors when I was a teenager.

It does already. What you need to do is to discern between real science and "science" which is actually politics. New discoveries are often denied because someone would lose their unique position if it was spread, or an industry may lose market shares.
If you could prove healing works and all hospital staff was to be unemployed they would fight this new healing method with teeth and nails to suppress it.
This is why magic is not accepted. But that doesn't stop you from using it for your own benefit as long as you don't try to make money from the practice itself.

This is my first time posting in this forum as I have never really believed in the paranormal.
I did just however have an encounter that I feel convinced was real, and not just my imagination.
I have just visited Budapest in Hungary, a 5 day break of bars and sightseeing.
We stayed in a shared apartment/hostel that lies on the top floor of a very old, almost historic looking building.
You have to catch a rickety old elevator to the top (unless you want to walk up 5 floors ), and there is an almost sad, unkempt appearance to the decor throughout.
My room was small and beige, though had everything I needed for my stay.
About my third night I came home late as normal, got unchanged and got into bed.
The room felt unusually warm and I slept without a blanket.
I woke up very late, maybe 3-4am and looked up to see a man standing at the end of my bed.
He was standing side on to me with his head turned in my direction on his right.
His head slowly turned away from me to the normal forward facing position and he slowly disappeared.
The strange thing about this was that I experienced no form of dread, I was not scared and felt very calm as I turned over and went back to sleep.
It was the next day that I couldn't stop thinking about it, and have been trying to find any source to see if anyone has had similar experiences in that location.
I am very rational and fully aware this could have been my imagination, but it felt so real and I should have been terrified given the scenario.
Tl:Dr; Sceptic sees ghost in Budapest.

I've discovered a while a go that I can see where real objects are in my mind. For example when I was little my sister used to always hide my stuff, but I'd find them because an image of the missing item appeared into a calm and clear mind and where it was. My family would always be baffled by how I found them. I still get these occasionally, but I can't do it by will. I need to have a moment of mental serenity. Does anyone know how I can? Especially since I have my exams coming up, I've been studying like crazy and stressing out over them - but I'd love to see the questions, to prepare beforehand. It would be a helpful tool generally.

Sometimes I have strange situations... If I think about someone I knew, suddenly I met them within a day or two. Sometimes "parts" of my dreams happen in real life. I don't know how is that possible.
